My favourite!! So good. Taste amazing without any sweetener at all!

★★★★☆

This is a solid contender, similar to gunpowder, but with more of a grassy note I'd say.

The aroma of this tea is vegetal and a touch sweet. The scent is mild compared to some other greens I have had, but it has an overall pleasant and soothing smell. Like its scent, the color when brewed is light. The taste, however, is deep, full and fulfills the promise of its scent. Again, the taste is slightly tame compared to other greens I have tried, but I am partial to the stronger tastes. If you are looking for a calm, soothing cup of tea, this is the one for you.

★★★★★

Clean tasting and smooth. A good green for those who don't like it too bitter.

This is my favorite green tea so far. Great taste with a softness I keep trying to find in other teas. I have to avoid it so I can try others and am comparing them to this tea.

★★★★★

Clean and soft, I love that this tea doesn't have the vegetal taste of many green teas I've tried in the past. Perfect for any time of day, this is my favorite green.

★★★☆☆

It's okay, I'm starting to think that maybe I am just not that into green teas. I can't hold it against this tea.

★★★★★

I wish I would have started out with this when I first started venturing into teas. For one, it is a very good tasting, affordable tea and two, it taste much different than your general grocery store teas but is much more approachable.

★★★★☆

Nice mild flavor..doesnt taste like grass as some green teas do

★★★☆☆

I prefer the sencha teas to this, which reminds me of a rice tea, but do enjoy watching the pearls unfold (the dragon awakes!)

★★★★★

Smooth, mild, and a little bit smoky. I have to work up to grassy greens, so this is a great morning cup for me. It's at its best piping hot - consume as soon as it's cool enough to do so.

★★★★★

Smooth. Like freshly cut awesomegrass. This cup us light and airy and I couldn't wait till the steep was complete because the scent wafting through my house was far too pleasant, but I held strong and I am glad that I did.

★★★★★

Really good tea, I prefer sleeping dragon to gunpowder

★★★★☆

Wasn't up my alley in terms of flavor but it wasn't bad at all.

★★★☆☆

A decent green tea, but just did not stand out to me as something special.

★★★☆☆

I am used to robust an pure teas. That being said, I was hoping to get the promised smokey complexity of this tea with a balanced 'fruitiness,' and unfortunately instead this tea tasted quite grassy and bitter. I do not recommend this tea, even for the most experienced of tea palates.

★★★☆☆

While I did enjoy this tea I found that it was most useful for mixing with other black/green teas. On it's own the flavor is imo fairly bland/simple.

★★★★☆

This is better than good but not great. It has a wonderful flavor-not too vegetal and without the bite sometimes found in greens.

★★★☆☆

Not a fan of this tea. I can't pinpoint it exactly, I just prefer Gunpowder better.

Nice green tea with a bit of a more tart kick. Would blend this with something sweet

★★★★★

A very nice smooth green tea, not bitter or smokey.

★★★★☆

The smoky taste seems like a more nuanced version of gunpowder tea, and while it is very nice and I will definitely finish the sample, extra complexity is not quite enough to merit me buying it regularly.

★★★★★

Very grassy green for me, but very enjoyable. This has been my go to green for the past few 'green cravings'/

★★★★☆

A bit grassier than I prefer, but a nice green tea.

★★★★★

Sleeping dragon is a special tea. If you enjoy green tea then you will enjoy this product!

It's a very smooth green tea. As long as it's not over steeped, there is no bitterness.

I'm usually more of a black tea drinker but I really enjoyed this tea. Thought it's a great green!

★★★☆☆

Yummy but nothing too spectacular. Definitely a good staple tea to mix with others.

★★★☆☆

It was a good tea! I am still searching for my perfect tea.

★★★★★

Great green tea. Good way to start your morning and enjoy during the dya.

★★★★☆

My younger brother personally really enjoys this tea. I have a pretty big variety yet he always chooses sleeping dragon. Very bold and yet subtle good flavor from this one. I believe it is slightly preferable over gunpowder.

★★★★★

Great mild green tea that you can drink all day and not get bored.

★★★★☆

While this was a really nice, refreshing green tea, there wasn't anything too special about it that I noticed. It was really similar to the plain bagged ground green teas you can get in a grocery store for me. Still, it's good, just not something that really stands out.

★★★★☆

it comes in dried form. i would call them tea leaves. you put hot water on them, wait, and then drink. do not eat or otherwise swallow the leaves. then you go to computer, sit upright, write review.

I loved watching this tea unfurl, it has a lovely aroma and taste, but be very careful with the water temp, I've burned this one on more then a few occasions.

★★★★★

I really like this green tea. It is smooth, without even a hint of bitterness.

This made a very good cup of tea. I will buy it again.

★★★★☆

This tea is good, but is not my favorite green tea.

★★★★☆

Subtle flavor. Perhaps a little to 'bland' for my taste.

★★★☆☆

I had never tried tea like this before but I found it quite enjoyable.

★★★★★

Love, love, love it!! I add a tiny bit of honey. In the evening I like a little sweet.Lovely flavor, I will be buying a larger amount.

★★★★☆

This isn't half bad, it isn't my favorite but it is nice and smooth.

★★★★☆

A good smooth green tea. I will definitely be reordering this one!

★★★☆☆

Pretty average green tea flavor, no big flavor spikes and not too bitter.

Unfortunately I was not a bid fan. Gonna be giving this one away.

★★★★★

This is my first order from Adagio and I love it. Great packaging and great reorder method via Twitter! EDIT: reordered once again.

★★★★☆

I really like Sleeping Dragon and have found it works quite well when combining with other green teas. I mix with a jasmine green for a really pleasant flavor. It's fun to watch the little pearls unfurl. I added a little stevia and it created a very mellow green tea for evening consumption. Don't over-steep though. Can tend to get a little bitter. I kept the time on the lower end.

A more subtle green than something like sencha premier, but nice for a change.
