This is a great tea and it really does not have the earthy taste of most green teas.
Tightly rolled fuzzy buds give a soft, fruity sweetness enfolded by a rich, smoky note similar to gunpowder, but more complex and crisp.

This tea is lightly Smokey and an amazing green. Definitely don’t over steep or it will become to strong and bitter.
Fantastic green. Tighter brew tolerances (easier to get too little flavor or too much, equating to bitterness). Naturally, human taste has a degree of subjectiveness along with it's own degree of tolerances, thus descriptors such as bitter or light -while potentially useful- lends itself to a reasonable, somewhat accurate approximation. Not a truly objective metric or standard. That being said, when brewed within tolerances (+/-5%), this green is a great all-rounder. Fitting for anytime or occasion.
Really liked this one. Comparable to Teavana's Emporers clouds and mist.

I have only had this once, it may need some adjustment in steeping. The second time I steeped it was actually better than the first. The second was 10 min. It seems to be a good almost mellow tea. Will give a update later.

There was something slightly off-putting about this blend. Not sure if maybe I had the water too hot or let it brew too long, but there was a funky bitter aftertaste.

After another tea company was taken over and they eliminated the tea line, I was desperate to find a replacement. This is the one! Emerald's Clouds & Mist is no longer 'missed'.

Awesome green tea, tastes like gunpowder green but with more of that classic green tea flavor. For my daily tea that I take to work in the morning, I've started alternating this with my genmai cha.

This tea is light and grassy. It is an interesting flavor and a descriptor that I would not normally use for tea. It has a hay-like smell and is light in taste. It’s not bad, just very different.
This is a good basic green tea. Also good as an iced tea.
Gunpowder tea is one of my favorites. This one has a mildly smoky taste like gunpowder, but is lightly sweet and fruity. Very smooth, mild taste. Might be my new favorite green tea!

Love this tea! It's a great mid-morning/mid-afternoon sipping tea. It's good hot and as it cools down. I usually do a second brew and it is just as good as the first.
This is my go-to green tea! I truly enjoy the taste and flavor of this tea, and I am thankful to have found adagio teas. The price point for this tea is especially great; I typically end up ordering two pounds at ta time because i enjoy it so much!

Sleeping Dragon is the best green tea that I have tasted so far. When I first tasted it I thought it had a jasmine flavor but that disappeared quickly and oddly I haven t noticed it since. This could be because I tried this after tasting a different green tea. This tea just has a nice flavor that is not as bitter as I feel many teas can be.
I really enjoyed this, and tried it hot, unsweetened and sweetened, as well as iced and it was good every way.
Will have to steep awhile to get colour and flavour
My first Green tea. Followed the advice and kept the water from boiling. As I poueRed from the teapot it looked clear but then in the cup I had color.

I'm not sure if it was a failure in brewing it, but it really seemed pretty tasteless to me. I usually worry green tea will be too bitter, but this one goes too far the other side for me. But perhaps it's because i like spicy or strongly flavored tea?
I love this green tea. I put it in the same category of the gunpowder. I can drink this tea every morning. I add just a little bit of monk fruit sweetener.

This is a very light green tea with a nice fruity aroma. It has just enough of a grassy flavor so that it’s not boring but satisfying. Also leaves a dry but not bitter taste and finishes smooth.
This is going to be my standard green tea. I am usually a black tea drinker, but I like to keep one green around for guests and the occasional pot for myself. This tea is smoother and without much of the astringency of other greens.
What a mild, but deep tea. No telling what gives it the depth of 'related earthy' flavors that permeate the taste. The aroma seems fairly woody, but none of this comes into the flavor.
Purchased this for myhusband. He says it's fantastic.

A simple green tea that s on the smoky side. It s not bad, but it s not a stand out from the other green teas I ve had.
I really love this tea. It reminds me a little of the Teavana Emperor's Clouds that you can only get at Starbucks now.
I grew up on Teavana and this tea was supposed to be similar to the Emperors Clouds and Mist. It wasn't as sweet as the emperors clouds and mists but it was a smokier surprise that had a nice honey finish.
Finally found a great substitute for Emperor's Cloud. Beautiful flavor.
