A lovely, easy to drink green tea. Good for those who enjoyed Teavana’s Emperor’s Clouds and Mist.
Tightly rolled fuzzy buds give a soft, fruity sweetness enfolded by a rich, smoky note similar to gunpowder, but more complex and crisp.

A lovely, easy to drink green tea. Good for those who enjoyed Teavana’s Emperor’s Clouds and Mist.
I'll preface this with saying I am usually a black tea drinker (although I LOVE the Autumn Mist Green)... This tea didn't really taste like anything to me. I tried it both without additions and with some sugar. It's okay with the sugar and fine if you're looking for a very neutral tea. I bought the sample size and will probably finish it, but I'm not encouraged to buy it again.
I love green teas, but too often I find them overpowering in grassy or earthy notes. Sleeping Dragon is a beautiful tea, delicate and balanced with a good grassiness, light smokiness for depth, and a subtle sweetness. Outstanding!
Excellent green tea. Delicate taste; not too grassy. Very enjoyable!
It's like gunpowder, but better. A bit sweeter, with a little bit of floral/fruitiness.
A great simple green tea for anyone. It's nice and light and naturally sweet.
This is my all time favorite tea! Its taste is similar to teavana's 'emperor's clouds and mist' tea which has traditionally been my favorite green tea. I discovered both Adagio and sleeping dragon tea when buying teavana teas in bulk stopped being an option and I'm so glad I did. I have about 3 large cups per day!
My favorite green tea! Not as grassy as many green teas and less smoky than a gunpowder. Smooth mouthfeel with very low astringency. Slight sweetness and a clean finish.
I brew for 1.5 mins @ 180 degrees.
This has become my go-to evening tea. I love the ritual of preparing a cup and enjoy all the sensory input. The colour is a beautiful golden green, the smell tickles my memory in pleasant ways, and it is such a calming taste. I am also able to get more than one steeping which is always a pleasant surprise.
I have been looking for a loose tea that is similar in taste to Teavana's Emperor Cloud's and Mist. When Starbuck's purchased Teavana, we could no longer obtain the Emperor Cloud's and Mist except to go to Starbuck's and purchase an individual cup. There is a tea out there called 'Cloud's and Mist' but, although, it is good, it does not compare with Teavana's. The Sleeping Dragon by Adagio Tea is excellent. I have finally found the tea for which I have been searching. I would swear I was drinking my Teavana's Emperor's Clouds and Mist. Thank you Adagio. You have made my day.
If you do not like 'grassy' tasting green tea you will love Sleeping Dragon green tea from Adagio. It's smoother and great with honey. The tightly rolled leaves help with measuring.
Sleeping dragon is a very good tea; I would buy it again. It is mild but flavorful, and not at all bitter. Perhaps I'm easily amused, but the tea does live up to it's name in appearance.
Love this! Very earthy and fresh! Perfect with honey
This is my second time ordering this tea. I got it in the sample pack before, and loved it. I would definitely recommend!!!
Earthy and kind of dry flavor, not my favorite but still good.
A nice green tea with a slightly grassy taste. it does get bitter if you steep it too long.
What a beautiful tea. 1. The little rolls are beyond cute and remind me of cats who are curled up sleeping. 2. The taste is excellent: it has a floral buttery taste that does not dissapoint. 3. If you are a fan of green teas give this dragon a taste.
When I don t want the floral jasmine green tea, I go for this one! It s like gunpowder green, but not quite as smoky, and with a slight fruitiness to it. Wonderful green to try!
I love the smoky hint I get with the Gunpowder and was hoping for some of that same smokiness with this, but did not get it. Also, I brewed one cup a second time and ended up with a quite bitter taste.
Taste is pleasantly cut with earthy tones. Can be bitter like any strong green teas if over stepped. Manage to just perfection. A great option for your daily go to. It’s welcoming and not a boring
I didn't know what Sleeping Dragon tea was before ordering this. It wasn't my favorite.
In the summer my go-to teas are the green teas and Sleeping Dragon is one of my favorites.
Love the rolled tea leaves and the taste.
they do look like sleeping dragons! it smells a little like seaweed when it's brewed but doesn't have any hint of fishy flavor that some green teas are known to have. it's a solid green tea :)
A perfect dupe for Emperor’s Clouds and Mist. A mild, pleasant green tea.
Be extremely careful about not over-steeping this cup. Anything more than the recommended amount and it will be incredibly bitter.
We have really enjoyed this tea. It is a lot like Tevana's Emperors Clouds and Mist. We like to add a little rock sugar to it.
This green tea is best described as soft and smooth. It's delicate and grassy, but very mellow—not much astringency or bitterness. I've had some success serving it to people who 'don't usually like green tea' but who aren't dyed-in-the-wool black tea-drinkers; they find it easier to enjoy. I particularly like drinking it in the afternoon with a small not-terribly-sweet snack.
I'm not the biggest green tea fan, but I like this one a ton. It's a lot more subtle than other green teas. Very soft flavor.
A beautifully soft, buttery green tea. It s got a gentle flavor, but don t let that fool you. The more you drink, the more you find. This is my favorite new green tea.
Very tasty without being overbearing, smooth finish, definitely a keeper.
Bought this to replace Teavanna Emperors Cloud & Mist (ECM). It is my new go to! More cost effective, great flavor, and perfect caffeine content - even for waking up. In fact I like the caffeine better. EMC kind jolts you and there can be a crash. With Sleeping Dragon I don’t get that. It’s great!
Wow this is nice and relaxing. I really enjoyed this tea and will be ordering more.
This tea was alright, I am normally not a fan of green tea at all but this may be changing my mind. It has a strong grassy flavor if you steep too long. This is not one walk away from and forget about for a few extra minutes
This is a finicky tea for me. I enjoy it, but I ve got to be super careful on the steep or else it gets beyond bitter. 170 degrees for 8 minutes of steeping is pretty much perfect for me and makes a phenomenal cup of tea. This was really the tea that taught me how to adjust temperature and timing!
One of my all time go-to teas. This is one I drink almost everyday, even before bed. I can get about 5 infusions out of one tablespoon of tea. I just increase the water temperature and time for each additional infusion.
Not a bad green tea, I ve been drinking it grandpa style . A good buy for day-to-day drinking.
Very nice green! No bitterness on the finish, though I did watch my steep times closely to make sure I didn’t start getting to astringent. I found 2-3 minutes was about right.
Really nice green tea, not grassy at all. Similar to my favorite Gunpowder Green Tea.
Was really surprised by this tea. Will be ordering again. Was that good. And the price? Wow, heck yeah...
Very tasty deep green tea, love that it can be both light flavored and a strong tea!
A good green tea, but I prefer Dragonwell. Will get bitter if you over steep, but that is common with most all green teas.
Easy drinking and lovely type of Green Tea. Easy go to from now on.
Great and not grassy. It tastes exactly the way I expect green tea to taste.
A smooth and slightly smoky green that has an almost sweet taste but finishes crisply
Great tea. I love how soft and soothing this green tea is.
This tea has a great smoky and earthy taste. The leaves steep multiple times, definitely recommend!
Nice alternative to gunpowder. Can be infused multiple times. Pleasant taste.
It could be more tasteful ... I out more leaves and for longer and yet, not getting to my standards
Nice light green tea, I like hot. Not grassy! I would purchase again. T Taster
Absolutely delicious and refreshing tea. Not vegetal in the least; it’s gentle but flavorful in a softly bold way. As someone who cannot stand “grassy” green teas, this one was immediately satisfying and I’ve enjoyed quite a few cups so far. Just make sure to get the water temp and timing right. I oversteeped on too hot water and it was incredibly bitter.
