Tastes better than it smells. Very fragrant scent, lighter taste, still very grassy.
This was a most enjoyable tea. It actually is what I always thought green tea should taste like. Unlike a lot of green teas which are really bitter this one was very mellow and almost sweet. I can see why it’s called sleeping dragon. I did not get the smoke taste till the second infusion but it did not detract from the overall taste. It pairs very nicely with something sweet like dorayaki.
This was an enjoyable tea. The grassy flavors are somewhat subdued but also present throughout. It has a slight sweet note lingering on and is almost malty.
Again another tea not in my wheelhouse my bf liked it
Not a fan. There is just something about the flavor that is off-putting for me.
I'm not a huge fan of green tea. But my issue is specifically with the 'grassy' taste. So the description of the tea gave me some hope. Alas, it still tastes pretty 'grassy' to me (although not as strongly as some varieties). If you don't like the 'grassy' flavor, steer clear. But if you like that flavor, and just think it's too strong in some teas, I imagine you'll really love this one.

I love the slight smokiness of this tea, both just smelling it in the bag and when drinking it. The complex layers of flavor make this a very enjoyable cup of tea
It has that smokey, grassy quality akin to gunpowder, but there's also a pleasant lightness that reveals itself after those initial, robust notes fade on the tongue. Definitely one for the daily rotation.
When I think of green tea...this is it! Smooth and mellow. The name suits. :-)

This is a good mellow cup of green tea. But be careful not to make the water too hot or it can get pretty bitter!

This is hands down my favorite tea (green or otherwise). I drink several cups everyday. This tea is heart warming and soothing to the soul. It does have a beautiful richness to it as the description states. However, I believe the smokiness is much more balanced and subtle than gunpowder. Honestly, I wouldn't compare the two.

This is perfect for mixing! We brew our black tea full strength, then pour it into the ingenuiTEA with two scoops of Sleeping Dragon. We aren't fans of green tea, but want some of the health benefits. This seems like a good way to go.
Now this is a tea that I like by itself even after it cools off a bit. Do not put too much of the
dragons in the diffuser. less is more.

A very smooth and refreshing cup. An everyday drink for me. It is surprising how the little balled up leaves expand, and you actually need less dry tea than you think to get a potent cup.

This is a very dense tea, so you don t have to use as much of it as some of the lighter teas. Has a strong taste for a geen tea, which I like.

Now this is what I think of when I think green tea. Mellow, no added flavor, just plain ol' green tea. It has a beautiful grassy aroma with the leaves, though I don't really get it after brewing. Overall nice cup of tea! (Edit: It also makes a pretty decent iced tea as well.)

Delicious! I love this tea. It is the first green tea I’ve ever tried and it is wonderful. I combined it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon balm and 1/2 teaspoon of spearmint.
My wife absolutely loved this green tea. We will be ordering this bi monthly now!

This green tea was just ok to me. I prefer gyokuro. This tea is floral, not grassy. It's not bad, just not my preference.
Smooth, but also a bit on the bitter side? Strong for sure. Not an every day tea for me, but not bad! :)

The dragon begins tightly coiled, loosening after three minutes into a stronger green tea that is tamed with milk and honey. Avoid possible bitterness by only steeping for three minutes.

Sleeping dragon is my favorite green tea. It's quite light in color and flavor, but I like that in my green tea. The leaves are beautiful as they steep.
Excellent green tea, similar in taste to the gunpowder but with more complexity and a dash of sweetness. It's got a crisp taste to start and finishes soft. I prefer this to the gunpowder. Don't steep too long as its easy to over steep. (2:15 min @ 82C)
More complex than Gunpowder and easy to rinse out of a tea ball.

A little goes a long way. This tea is very good and very strong, a full tea spoon is too much.Next time I'll use a half tea spoon and it should be fine. This tea is definitely worth trying.
Wow, wow, wow, such an amazing green tea! I usually find them too savory, but this one is almost fruity, and has enough flavor with just a teaspoon to be able to taste it. I think it s my fave green tea yet.

I usually drink the Gunpowder as my daily green tea, but was looking for something different. This tea is light and smooth and delicate - I love it.
This one has bite! I usually go almost 2 teaspoons of tea per cup, I like my tea strong, but it was too much with this variety. I’m going to try with less tea and mix with spearmint, if you like strong green tea, I think you’ll like this.
