Tastes like a normal green tea to me, nothing special.
Fine twisted young leaf that resembles a chun mee style but interspersed with silvery down-covered buds.

Tastes like a normal green tea to me, nothing special.
Clean and refreshing without bitterness I enjoy this simple tea very much.
not my favorite green tea. Its a little light for my taste and i felt that it did not have that much flavor no matter how much i put in a cup and how long i steeped.
it's a very smoothe green it.I'm no professional though. alskdjf.alskdjf.alskdjfa.lskdjfa.lskdfja.lskdjfa.lskdjf.alskdjfa.lskdjfa.lskdjfa.lskdjfa.lskdjfa.lskdjfa.lskdjfa.lskdjfa.lskdjf.alskdjf.alskdjf.alskdjfa.lskdjfa.lskdjfa.lsdkjf
Normally I am not a smoky tea or anything smoky flavored type of person, but this tea is light and a little bit smoky, not too over powering. Would definitely recommend it.
A nice cup of tea.. Love the color in my cup..
Nice..
I'm not a big fan of green teas and this one has a very astringent quality to me.
Beautiful color in my glass teacup. Easy drinking. Grassy and silky.
Very nice smooth flavor. Comparable to the smokiness of green dragon pearls.
this tea had a nice honey wafer smell to eat. a natural sweetness with a great tasting smokiness which was not overpowering
Of all the smokier green teas I've had over the years, this one is definitely one of my favorites. A perfect balance of smoke and buttery sweet flavor . I've read others reviews of a grape hint coming out, and I agree. But its incredibly suddle and tastes of grapes fresh from the vine.
It's a solid earthy tea. Not my favorite tea. But, it's still good.
A little sweet, very light, mild. Not my favorite tea, but very good for what it is.
This is a pleasant, if generic-tasting, green tea.
This tea's pretty generic. It tastes like many other green teas. Not a bad tea.
An almost-perfect green tea. Very smooth, great for caffeine.
Silver Sprout has a lovely amber color in the cup with a very light smooth taste. Not at all grassy or vegetal tasting which is a nice change from other green tea varieties. I love the crisp mouthfeel which Isn't astringent or bitter unless overbrewed. This is definately one I'll keep around.
Very earthy taste. I got some coppery and woody notes moreso than smoke and buttery. Some people would find this tasty, but it's not really my jam. Would have given it another star or two, but it doesn't cold brew well.
A nice stronger green tea, at least to me. Silver Sprout makes me think of something delicate and light, which wasn't the case. I like gunpowder green tea and this was just right for me!
Hard to describe the flavor of this, kind of a light, yet smoky green flavor. Very light. Incredibly delicious.
Tastes great, makes a good tea for the afternoon. Definitely contains a smokey and aromatic smell.
The silver sprout is perfect after a long day. It isn't as bitter as some teas can get.
tried as sample. need to try more fully. was tasting some interesting flavors like citrus. need to pay more attention next time.
Way too light for my taste, I had to add in far more leaves than seemed reasonable to even taste the tea. Once I did get to taste it though it was good, with a light nuttiness.
This is a good basic green. Sometimes I get burned out on all the ornamental teas I have and this is a good break from that.
Beautiful leaf and fun to watch it uncurl. Really enjoyed the smokiness as it developed.
This tea is a little generic for me, tastes like most other green teas. But all in all it is a good tea.
More of an earthy tea but one of my favorites. I don't add anything to this. any other flavors would drown this out.
This is a great tea for the price. It is as good of quality as the other stuff. It doest have that special region special reserve taste. But, It has a great tea flavor without going overboard.
This is not too grassy and not too bad for the price
Great taste. Not too astringent or earthy. Very smooth.
Light, not grassy, but sweet and slightly floral. Totally enjoyable.
At first, it is light and a little bit floral. But then, it gets heavier and smokey tasting. It also tastes buttery, which I've never experienced in a tea before. If you don't like the grassy/vegetable taste of green tea, you might like this. I missed those notes though and would rather have a green tea that has them.
Definitely a lighter tea. Not as powerful as a gunpowder, which the smokiness tends to favor in my opinion.
I'm beginning to think that I just don't like green tea BLENDS. When I drink a straight, well brewed green tea, I almost always enjoy it. Silver sprout is delicious and has a wonderful fragrance. It smells like something that you get at a nice Chinese restaurant. And the taste, while mild, is definitely present. Very nice! I would be careful not to oversteep, though.
A nice, slightly smoky and sweet green tea. reminds me of a mellower version of gunpowder.
Very light simple tea. Not bad but definitely not my favorite.
Not the most spectacular tea ever, very green and savory with strong sauteed mushroom notes, these were good, but it had a dirty tasting edge to it that I was not a fan of.
Slightly sweet and airy mouthfeel that is easily overpowered by sugar/honey. This one is best on its own without any additions.
Yummy green tea, very lovely. Looking forward to my next cup!
Very smooth green tea just not as strong of a green tea is I like.
very mild in flavor. certainly taste of green tea. soothing.
This is a very light tea, but it is pretty tasty. I enjoyed the floral aspect of it.
tbh, I ordered a sample of this and lost it before I could try any.
A fresh delicious big-leaf tea that I would highly recommend.
Exceptional white tea. A good choice for silver needle lovers.
Tastes alright, it is less grassy than some other common greens.
Not the best green I've ever had. Came out a bit astringent. May need to play around with temp and time on this one.
It really is just like Adagio describes it--floral notes, smoky flavor, buttery mouthfeel. It has a nice body, very smooth, and it really is like a mild version of gunpowder. I wish this could be used in blends, it would make a nice middle-ground between gunpowder and snowbud, but I wouldn't be likely to drink it by itself often.
Calling this tea a lighter, mellower version of a gunpowder green tea would be pretty accurate. I blended it with some spearmint as I tend to do with gunpowder and it made an ok cup of tea. It's not a super complex tasting tea.
