This is a wonderful full flavored tea. I use it alone or mix it with fruit flavored green teas.

I ordered this green because they were out of gunpowder. It's very different. More grassy; less smoky. Very delicate, no matter how long it's steeped or at what temperature.

AMAZING! I loooove a good flowery, fragrant green tea, and this did not disappoint. I also love watching the tea leaves expand and uncurl as they steep :) A great visual!

We got this tea as a sample and it is good. The sample was generous and we enjoy a pot of it here and there

Lovely, delicately flavored tea, but it is easy to burn.

★★★★☆

Has a smoky taste that's not my favorite but it is still good every now and then. Might taste good mixed with a light or berry tea.

★★★☆☆

It's all right. I prefer flavored teas. This makes a god iced tea though.

★★★★☆

Not my favorite green tea, but it is good. Has a crisp taste.

★★★★★

Delicate and delicious. tastes great sweetened or otherwise.

★★★☆☆

This tea turned out to be very delicate, with slight hints of fruit. It was a little too subtle for me.

★★★★☆

Very subtle and mild. I especially like this when I am feeling a bit under the weather and just want mild, clean flavored tea.

★★★☆☆

not really what I was hoping for but its an ok tea.

It's a nice, generic green tea. I prefer Adagio's Sleeping Dragon for a plain green, though. It has a slightly fruity taste, but I didn't get the smokeyness at all, which is a shame because it would've been nice. Almost reminded me of a white tea.

Good stuff

★★★★☆

Not bad. Not great. Easy sipping tea that you'll forget about but won't feel like you got ripped off by either.

★★★★☆

The only thing I could think of with this one is, 'it is green'. On it's own, that's exactly what it is. Green. It's much better with honey though. I used a buckwheat honey and that worked quite well.

★★★★☆

When brewed properly, this sliver sprout offers everything I desire in a green tea, an organic unfolding of flavor followed by a smooth finish upon swallowing that prompts you to sip more. Very rejuvenating!

Considering they looked like tea tips, the flavor was much stronger than I expected. Good, basic green tea

A very smooth, delightful tea for any time of the day or night. Just a delicious tea!

Silver Sprout is an above par green tea. This is a really good tea, but since there was so much hype behind it, it did not meet my lofty expectations. Worth trying if you love green teas above others.

Really good flavor. I love this tea. I recommend it.

★★☆☆☆

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but every time I brew up this tea, it taste like dish soap.

This is a really fantastic tea. It's so different from the black and greens we normally drink. A wonderful creamy and mildly smoky tea.

Starts off very floral and then gets little smokey at the end. A hint of grape flavor.

As someone who's not super into green teas, I was pleasantly surprised by this blend. I love the smokiness, but it's also light enough that the smoke isn't overpowering.

Mild every-day green tea. Brew with care (not too hot, not too long), as it will lose some of its loveliness and get bitter if you over-brew it.

★★★★★

This was a very pleasant, easy to drink tea, definitely enjoyed it and will order again

★★★★★

This will be replacing Gunpowder as my everyday tea... I haven't tried 'doctoring' is yet...but lemon comes to mind...

If you're looking for a nice, clean everyday green tea that doesn't taste awful like cheap green teabag tea you get at your local grocery store, I definitely recommend this! It won't knock your socks off, but super drinkable for everyday with a very subtle, balanced taste.

★★★★☆

Nice mild white tea. Nothing stands out about it but it is good

★★★☆☆

Smoky and astringent, with a woodsy vegetable taste, media astringency with a lovely sweet finish

One of my favorites. Got it in a sample and will definitely reorder.

★★★★☆

This is my first time brewing loose green tea at home-- it had a light flavor at 5 minutes, I personally like a more robust flavor (perhaps I should stick to the black teas)- I think I will steep it for a few more minutes next time to see if I can coax more flavor from the leaves.

Pretty good tea. It was a bit more bitter than some of the others I've tried, but not too much. I might have steeped it a bit too long. I'll try shortening the steeping time next time I drink it. Overall, really good green tea.

★★★☆☆

There is nothing really bad about this tea, but there isn't really anything spectacular about it either. The flavor was fairly nondescript, with only the slightest hint of the smoky flavor I associate with green tea. This may benefit from being blended with other teas, but is just a little too plain on its own.

This is ok. It was good to try, but it's not a go to for me. It's not that it's a bad tea. Just not for me.

★★★★☆

Not a huge fan of the typical green tea, but this one is nice, not too overpowering.

★★★★☆

A mild tea and one I need to experiment within order to pull out the subtle notes.

★★★☆☆

We got this tea as a free sample, but it was little bitter for my taste

★★☆☆☆

this tea had no real taste even after adding agave.

★★★★☆

I'm not sure I've experienced enough green tea to compare this one to others, but I like it. It doesn't have too many subtle undertones, I just taste straight green tea.

An excellent, clean green tea. The initial taste is vegetal but gives way to a slightly bitter seabreeze finish.

★★★☆☆

A fairly standard green tea, watch out you don't oversteep it.

★★★☆☆

Prepared as suggested yields lite tea with almost full mouth-feel and mainly smoke. finish has nuances of high fruit ?white grape? Smoke is the primary characteristic through all infusions. I ended up preferring starting at 195 for 2 mins, which gives aroma white grape touches and liquor richer w light sweet fruit aspect weaving thru smoke and an almost full mouth-feel = Nice. Smoke slowly more dominate as liquor cooled and buttery feel more apparent in finish. 2nd infusion at 180 and 3mins gave aroma w floral hints and liquor lite and smoky. Finish had white grape touches. If smokiness in a green tea is what you look for, this is your tea. It's just NotMyCupOTea.

Mild and delicate, very tasty, another great tea.

★★★★☆

Subtle is the word for this tea. It's quietly floral, then gives way to a creamy smoke flavor. I enjoyed this tea with a smackeral of honey.

A bit astringent and I did not care for the smokiness. Not bad, but not one I'd order again.

This tea has a pleasant warm taste common to green teas, however there is a dry and scratchy aftertaste due to all the dust and other rubbish that appears in my cup anytime I make this tea. I've tried different pots and cups yet still the dust is always present so I must assume it's wrapped up in the leaves. This makes the tea unappetizing to look at and a tad suspicious to drink.

A different tasting tea-takes some getting used to, I will keep drinking it.

★★★☆☆

Found this to be a bit light even with ample leaf, (6g, 120ml gaiwan). The smokiness was there as described as was the buttery mouth feel. A bit astringent but not overbearing. Lends itself okay to gong fu with flavors really opening up after the third and fourth infusion. A decent green tea for daily drinking. A quick wash, then 10s, 15s, 20s...infusions thereafter.
