Light, mellow flavor. Not as good or sweet as the sencha premier in my opinion.
Classic steamed tea from Shizuoka, Japan. Rich, brothy texture (when steeped as strongly as you might find in Japan), refreshing aroma. Rounded finish that coats the palate, sweet flavor reminiscent of tender steamed veggies and fresh seaweed.

Light, mellow flavor. Not as good or sweet as the sencha premier in my opinion.
This is my go to everyday tea. I drink it religiously 365 days a year, usually multiple cups a day. For me green tea is the perfect tea to sit and relax with. This one is just right for me. I follow the temp and time on the package and it's great every time. Thanks Adagio for great quality and service each and every time!!
My husband and son love this tea. I am not a fan.
Surprisingly stronger compared to what I've tried from Teavana. VERY vegetal. Not sure if I'm a fan of the 'grassiness', but it's a great tea overall.
This was good, a nice tea for those cold days. I like it plain, with nothing added, since it has a nice robust flavor to it.
After trying many many many different teas from Adagio, I have finally found my favorite. I'm not sure why I didn't order this sample sooner. I guess it just sounded boring and as a new tea drinker, I have been wow'd by all of the flavored tea options. But I am beginning to settle in and I believe my tastes buds are starting to become a little more refined. Sencha Overture is the right amount of bold yet mild. The flavor is definitely vegetal but it's that perfect savory green tea that hits the spot and makes you feel healthy after you drink it. I heart Sencha Overture!
I had sencha first time when I went to lunch with friends and I was like what kinda tea is this I loved it I had to order It.
Not too impressed with adagio's sencha. Did not have the slightly sweet, grassy taste I have had before in other senchas. Left much to be desired.
Nice flavor. Will purchase again. Can be brewed longer than what is indicated in the directions.
Not my favorite, but I think this might be either a love/hate or an acquired taste. Would I give it away or toss it - no. But it won't be a go to green tea for me for now.
Very vegetal. I like green tea but this one just had too much of the vegetal tones.
This is a decent green tea, and enjoyable, but it doesn't stand out quite enough to be a favorite.
This is a nice affordable sencha. If in want or need for sencha premier this is a nice substitute with half the price.
A very good sencha. It is quite mild. Reminds me a bit of Longjing tea I've had before.
This is a very mellow green with a nice vegetable flavor. It's perfect for a late afternoon cup!
Lovely fragrance with a very light taste. Must have some of this on hand all the time.
Dark green hay color. Mature straw aroma. Mellow flavor of green straw with mild nori undertones.
This is a good tea. It can be a bit strong though so I can't rate it as great. it isn't something I'm in the mood for every day. It took a while to get used to but once I did I became a big fan. If you're unsure, it may be useful to buy a sampler bag and see if you come to like it more towards the end of the bag. A sample taste at the store may not be enough.
Great green tea standard. Need to have straight green tea in my cupboard at all times, and this is my go-to favorite.
A fan of Japanese tea, I really enjoy this grassy tea. This is the kind of tea, one may drink everyday. Besides, this tea is of great quality: as soon as we open the package, we can smell the freshness of it.
Sencha is a light, mildly grassy, and crisp tea. It's a perfect cup of tea.
This is a good balance between flavor and cost for me.
This is a good green tea for someone who just wants a Japanese-style green tea with no extra frills or flavors. Make sure not to use too hot of water or oversteep, though -- it gets bitter.
Love the flavor. Smell the freshness. One of my favorites
This Sencha is very good, although not as flavorful as the Sencha Premier.
Great green tea similar to sencha premier. A go to afternoon tea.
Bitter, but delicious. Grassy finish... :)
I'm ambivalent about this sencha. The first steeping is a lovely mid-grade cup, smooth, rich, and vegetal. I occasionally get a good lightly brothy third steep. Half the joy of good green tea is the evolution of the flavor over at least three steepings, and I haven't figured out how to get that from this sencha (I've had much better luck with this year's Harney and Son's second flush sencha). I look forward to trying Adagio's first flush sencha, but I don't think I'll buy the second-flush again this year. (Also, I've settled on a 1.5 min first steeping at a lower range green temperature and 2 min thereafter at a similar or slightly higher temp.)
This is another of my husband's favorites. The smell is heavenly. I don't usually like green teas but this is a great one.
This is a fantastic green tea that is clearly very good quality, but be weary if you are on the fence with more spinachy tasting tea. This will brew tasting like dinner vegetables, which I and many others love, but it can be overpowering for people that don't like such a strong flavor.
This is a very green tea both in color and in flavor. Make sure the water doesn't get too hot and you will be rewarded with a delicate and lightly grassy cup.
This has become my favorite tea. I could drink it every day and not get tired of it. It makes great ice tea too. I like to drink a cup first thing every morning.
Reminds me of the tea that I had while in japan, great stuff!
The most flavorful green tea of the ones I've tried from Adagio. I find it brews a good second cup too (that one for 3 minutes).
Purchased this for a friend who loves green tea. He absolutely loved it!
This is a typical, adequate everyday tea. Not sure I will order it again. There are others I like so much better.
This was a surprise to me - I had never had a green tea like this. Very grassy or seaweedy taste, but really quite pleasant. I love a cup in the afternoon.
Ok don't get discouraged on my review but i thought this tea was bad i could not even get past the smell. You might like it but i didn't i will not be buying this again good thing i only bought a sample.
Another great green tea, good one to try if you are new to green teas. Although Gyokuro is my favorite, this is a close second.
This has become my everyday tea of choice at work, and I drink far too much of it. Something like 4-6 large cups a day, too much. Deep grassy tones with a calming, soft aroma improve my mornings immensely. I get 2 uses out of the leaves, steeping for 1 minute the first time, then about 7 minutes the second time.
I love sencha with all my heart. This was a great blend.
One of my all-time favorites. Very green, clean-tasting and those first few sips makes me feel good. I drink this one almost daily.
This is my everyday tea, very good flavor, not too grassy, just right. And the price is good too!
This tea is subtle and one of my favorite teas so far.
I like this tea, it has a very strong taste and you don't need to be so precise with a water temperature. It can be brewed twice.
Good green tea, very mild flavor, not overpowering
Not as good as the gyokuro, but this is good as an every day tea. The price is very reasonable for a good green tea. I use 2 teaspoons for 1 cup, but I reuse it for a second cup. I steep it for 1.5 minutes at 170 degrees. I find it gets bitter at 2 minutes.
Not a very subtle green tea, which is either a good or a bad thing depending on your tastes. Personally, I like a milder tea with hidden notes. This tea just punches your taste buds hard and has an after-taste that hangs. It's all about what you like, but I'll pass.
I didn't care for this tea at first, but it really grew on me. It's very fresh and grassy, with a distinct hint of seaweed. I prefer it in the afternoon vs. morning.
Not impressed. Nothing special to note. Tastes a bit vegetal.
