This tea tastes sweet and something else that I assume to be lychee. Never having tasted lychee before, I can’t comment on how well the tea captures its taste. I can say, however, that the tea has a pleasant flavor.
With flavor notes of rose, grape and melon, Lychee Rose Green is a refreshing tea perfect for an afternoon cup.

Not a big fan of green teas or florals, so this is not a tea I’d normally choose for myself. That being said, this one wasn’t completely unpleasant. Still too floral for me, but drinkable.
I detected only a weak floral scent after brewing. I don’t usually enjoy floral teas, so I say weak as a good thing. The green tea flavor was also muted, which is also a good thing from my perspective. There was a subtle hint of rose, but overall it was a smooth, mild taste.
UPDATED from 8/13/21: - Love the smell of this CommuniTEA packet - it is a rose garden in the middle of a grassy field. It steeps into a very light golden color. I like the taste of the green tea, and for some reason, this year the rose is not too strong, as it lingers into the finish. Normally I detest drinking flowers, however, in this blend the roses dance lightly on my tongue. This becomes delectably delicious after adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener. If you like green tea and enjoy the flavor of roses, you will absolutely love this. (2 mins @ 180ºF + sweetener).
I got this for my friend's birthday and she loved it!
This sounded like my dream blend since Rose and Lychee are some of my all time favorite flavors and always blend together so beautifully. The scent is absolutely beautiful.
My first brew was a little disappointing because despite the beautiful floral aroma the apple flavor was overpowering everything else! It still tasted good but more of an apple tea than anything else. I also found it far too sweet, I'm not used to teas tasting so sweet.
The next brew I picked out all the apple pieces and it tasted much better and more like what I expected, a light taste of Rose with background notes of Lychee.
Could have used a slightly stronger rose flavor to be honest.
This one is quite nice. I love the green with the floral notes, very sensual.
One of my all time favorite teas! It smells incredible and tastes even better. I HIGHLY recommend if you like that fruity green tea flavor like I do!
A favorite of mine. The lychee and rose really go well together and it doesn't require any sweetness (but I do like at touch of honey with it)
One of my favorite teas - absolutely love the aroma out of the bag, as well as after steeping. It's become a go-to treat on weekends for us.
I enjoyed this tea. It was very aromatic and tasted just like a lychee.
I got this for my husband, since he likes the florals. I do not - so I am going to average our review. It smelled very rosy with a hint of fruit. I would not have been able to stomach it (rose in my tea turns my stomach), but my husband really enjoyed it. @adagioteas
This is my favorite green tea it has a very soft unique flavor, very important to steep in water that's no more than 180 degrees or it affects the flavor and you miss the delicate rose and lychee
Quite a good combination. I have never had anything 'Lychee' flavoured before, but it tasted very good. Also, the rose petals gave it a definite floral flavour & aroma. Great green tea!
This tea has a lovely smell and I was so excited to try it, but it's a bit too much for my tastes. It almost has a perfume smell to it, which is very pretty, but again, too much.
I just finished up a sample of this and bought another one. So many layers of flavors here: musky rose, fruity lychee, grassy bright green tea. I highly recommend cold brewing OR putting an ice cube or two in the brewing basket to keep from scorching the leaves and ending up with a bitter cup.
I'm not typically a green fan, and while I like lychee, I wasn't sure how the syrupy sweetness I usually associate with it would meld with a green and rose. I ADORE rose. This blend works surprisingly well. It's rose forward like I hoped for, while the sweetness of the lychee counteracts the grassiness of the green. Having that green base works in this tea's favor by keeping the overall profile lighter than a ceylon flavored base would. Those factors also make this a great tea for blending.
Sweet and fragrant, but the rose doesn't come through as much as I's
I was hoping for a stronger lychee flavor but I think the rose overpowers it. However, for a green tea, it is very refreshing and it may be better iced than hot. @adagioteas
Overall a very enjoyable cup of tea; mind you I very much enjoy both Rose and Lychee flavors and aromas and both were fairly present in the mix, making for a very floral experience. A very smooth easy drinking beverage; I will likely purchase more in the future.
Wonderfully sweet aroma, great flavor hot or iced. @adagioteas
This tea tastes like something that would be served at a fancy tea party. I really loved it both hot and cold. I didn't think the floral notes were overpowering at all. I found the tea to be quite mild. I'm not sure if it's a personal sensitivity, or has to do with the temperature and duration people are brewing it. I definitely let the kettle cool for a bit before brewing.
wonderful aroma, taste and flavor! really smells delicious. but it's a light tea, and i prefer stronger teas. if it were stronger it'd be perfect for me!
This is beautiful stuff. I had thought the Seri Songket Lychee Rose black tea was the best until I tried the Adagio. It blows the doors off the Seri Songket. Every mouthful has that succulent fresh lychee taste with a rose finish, superb hot or iced. So glad to have found this!! Update: This is my treat-to-myself tea when I have a long day of meetings to get through, each sip reminds me there is life outside work! :-)
I really love rose teas, but for me this was far more heavy on the lychee flavor. I didn't get much rose from this tea. I didn't enjoy the lychee flavor, it was overpowering for me.
The only other time I’ve had a lychee drink was a martini...and it was good, but maybe not a repeater. Same with this tea...a good flavor, but not my favorite. I did enjoy it, but lychee is an odd little fruit and fruity green teas are a 50-50 shot for me.
This is a really unique tea. The rose with the sweetness of lychee is simply delicious. It has a sweet almost creamy taste with the herbal rose notes at the end.
I wasn't sure if I wasn't going to like this and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm kinda picky about my tea flavors. I love fruity and spicy teas. I wasn't sure if this one would be strong enough for me without having to use to much to make it economical. It was great and it didn't take too much of the tea itself.
This tea tastes incredible! I can clearly taste the lychee and rose in it, and it’s a very refreshing and delicious tea! I would highly suggest buying it. @adagioteas
Love this tea. Real delightful scent and gentle flavor. I love the mouthfeel after finishing the cup, a bit dry finish. Dewy lychee and lovely rose are prominent. Pleasant companion while I work my AM shift at a desk.
What an amazing tea! I'm so surprised it wasn't rated higher. If you enjoy notes of honey, then you should give this tea a try. It's fresh and crisp. It has that tiny bit of natural sweetness without needing to add anything. It smells wonderful. I purchased more! It's my absolute favorite at the moment.
I got this tea because I liked lychee candies I used to get in my Chinese class. The tea did not disappoint. Upon first smelling the tea, it brought back memories from the class and the taste was fantastic! Try this if you like lychee or don’t I can tell you what to do. It is very good though.
Very light and refreshing. I love lychee and I love rose so this tasted amazing to me
absolutely amazing as a cold-brew tea. Refreshing, sweet without being too sweet, and a light flavor.
The flowery smell and taste makes this a very, very nice drink to have if you ever want something to just relax with.
Somehow the world's most overrated flower and the most mediocre fruit make a pretty swell pair. It's especially good chilled.
This is one of my favorite green teas!! I love the smell of it as well
Love this blend, but in moderation. I like to mix with a less flavored base tea, about 50/50, and it's perfectly sweet and floral and not too overpowering.
I wish it was a little heavier on the green tea taste, but I still loved it!
This has a nice sweetness to it. I can taste the lychee coming though.
this was a very mild blended tea with the barest hint of rose. I really couldn't taste the lychee but the overall taste was very nice.
I love lychees, so I was excited to try this tea. Upon opening the package, the distinct note of lychee filled the air. I was not disappointed, the flavour really comes through!
It tastes a bit like Jasmine tea, if you're not familiar with what lychee tastes like. It's a bit sour, but I find on the second steep, the sourness isn't as prominent and it tastes more sweet.
It also makes a great iced tea. In fact I think I like it better cold than hot.
If you like lychee flavour definitely give this a try! If you don't, you might still like it if you like floral teas.
It was alright, the lychee is a lot more prominent in the sample pouch than when brewed, and to be completely honest it doesn't have a lot of flavor, will try to play around with time and temperature to see if I can get a cup that tastes better.
This is the best tasting and smelling rose based tea I have ever tasted. The rose, lychee and green tea are well-balanced. Good cold or warm and no heartburn that can sometimes accompany a green tea.
Delicate and flavorful. This is a distinctive tea, both juicy and floral. One of my favorites
This tasted kind of tart and tropical. The lychee has a really interesting flavor that pairs well with the rose.
“Perfect” indeed.” This tea is great hot, but it also takes on an extra rosy flavor when allowed to cool to room temperature. In either case, there is an ideal balance of floral, sweet and classic grassy green taste.
Tastes like exactly what it says on the tin. First you get the green tea flavor, and then, as it cools, you get more rose and lychee. Yep. Tastes like lychee, rose, and green tea. If you like those things... that's what this tea tastes like.
Love green tea, it's my morning go to every day and this adds a delicious flavor to it.
Dry tea smells like juicy lychee. I spy some rose petals among the green tea leaves. Once brewed, the resulting cup is a medium golden green with a lychee scent. When hot, the main flavor is slightly vegetal green tea with a bit of lychee sweetness. When warm, the lychee is more in the forefront, with mild rose notes to balance the green tea. The rose is not too strong in this tea, and the balance is spot on. The green tea, the lychee, and the rose all are in balance with each other in this delicate tea. Brewed at 175 for 3 minutes.
