This has a strong rose flavor that I enjoy, which is complemented by the lychee. The green tea flavor is minor and not astringent.
With flavor notes of rose, grape and melon, Lychee Rose Green is a refreshing tea perfect for an afternoon cup.

I made this iced and it was AMAZING. I used 2 tbsp. with about 8 oz. of hot water, then added ice. Didn't need any sweetener, was very refreshing, and the lychee comes through lovely.
I love floral teas, but this one goes a little far for me. I think I might try to blend it with another green tea to mitigate the rose notes.
What a delightfully refreshing cup of tea! Will be buying a full pack and not just a sample next time :) Big hit of lychee, excited to try this one over ice.
it smells SO nice, and has a nice, subtle lychee flavor. I like to add a few drops of honey, but otherwise leave the tea as is!
Delicious love it! Really enjoy this flavor a little sweetness to it.
I thought I would use this one for an iced tea over the summer but then the summer ended and I never iced it. Surprise to me: amazing as a hot tea. Perfect for a cold night.
It's great tea, and it smells fantastic with the rose petals. I still have one tea bag left that I do not want to use since I'm going to save it for later. :)
Adagio consistently has high quality green blends. The rose flavor is forward and Lychee a little hard to find but comes out with a little sweetener. Overall a great cup!
I enjoyed the Lychee Rose Green tea. Very nice flavor.
Sweet and light. This tea makes a perfect summer afternoon drink
I love that this tea has an actually strong lychee flavor! I've had a few 'lychee rose' style teas from various manufacturers and they're generally pretty tasty, but tend to lean much more toward the 'rose' flavor. I really enjoy that this provides some of the tang and sweetness of the lychee without it being overwhelmed by the florals.
My favorite flavor yet! I love green teas in general but this is delicious! It's one of those flavors that I can have every day and not get tired of.
My favorite tea I've ever ordered from this website! Definitely becoming a staple morning boost in my home.
Lychee fragrance rather strong from the package, but when drinking, the rose aroma takes over. Not a fan of flower fragrances in my drinks; if you are, this would be a delightful tea.
Very nice light fruity tea! Perfect for a summary drink. The lychee flavor is light but definitely there, and had a touch of natural sweetness!
Made both hot and cold. Cold tea is beyond delightful and am adding this to my rotation immediately.
I really enjoyed sipping on this in the morning. It provides a beautiful fruity and floral fragrance. I made a big pot and looked out at the birds from my balcony and had a lovely, contemplative morning. The lychee, rose, and green tea flavors provide a wonderful balance.
I normally dont love floral flavors, but I do love Lychee. All three flavors are nicely balanced so I'm a fan of this one.
I really enjoyed this tea great flavor and easy brewing and great outcomes drank with no sugar or milk
I wasn't sure what to expect, but this has a strong rose flavor which I LOVE. I drank this iced and it was delicious, refreshing and floral. I will be buying a bigger bag in the future!
lychee Rose Green tea offers a delightful harmony of fragrant rose petals and exotic lychee, perfectly complementing the refreshing green tea base. A sensory journey worth every sip. 5/5, pure bliss in a cup.
Really wish I liked this. Unfortunately the floral notes taste super artificial, like scent sprayed on a fake flower.
This tea is absolutely delicious. If you ever get flavored bubble tea, the shops often have a lychee green tea with jelly, and this is exactly what it tastes like but unsweetened. I imagine chilling this, adding a sweetener and some lychee jelly would be phenomenal for a homemade version. The lychee flavor is very prominant and the rose is not overpowering at all. The apple pieces provide a hint of sweetness. I will definitely be repurchasing this one.
I love teas with floral notes. My usual go to green tea is jasmine pearls for this reason. However, this tea may become my new favorite! It's floral with a mild, exotic sweetness thanks to the lychee.
Delicious rose tea. Mild and aromatic. Relaxing. Gentle rose and fruity flavours. The Lychee was a surprise I always enjoy the apple pieces. Enjoyed without s little honey and preferred cold.
Not for my tastebuds. Not even sure how to describe it.
I’ve never had leechee before so this was different for me. I could definitely taste the roses which were okay. I don’t think I’d want more than one cup of this at a time. It was okay to taste but not something I’d want regularly.
Rose is tricky, I think: the 'best' amount and scent seems particularly personal. I am not a great fan, especially in foods, but can enjoy it when used sparingly.
Opening the bag, the rose scent (and lychee? I'm not familiar enough with lychee to know what it smells like. Guessing it's the kind of Lilly of the Valley scent I noticed?) was almost overpowering—very perfumy vs. rose petals. I was very worried it would cancel out all other flavors. Tasting it, the rose was lighter than expected and the green was present, but on the whole, in my opinion, the tea tasted and smelled too much like a too-old, poor quality/unbalanced rose perfume.
I am surprised that I like this. It didn’t smell appealing. It was tasty.
I actually tried Lychee Rose Green Tea on a whim some months back - outside of CommuniTEA - and fell in love with it.
It has natural sweetness to it, without it being too sweet.
It has great flavors, without it being too strong.
It has a floral scent to it, without it tasting like you're drinking flowers directly from your garden.
I was sold on it right away and instantly purchased a bigger bag of it. <3
I LOVE this tea! It's light, it's sweet, it's refreshing, green but not bitter, cooling afterward and enlivening. A great summer tea. I'm adding this to my cart.
Although this tea might not have been my absolute favorite tea I did enjoy it. This green tea was not grassy and it was sweet and floral. It was a unique cup of tea.
Disclaimer: I don't like rose. The dry tea smells very strongly of lychee to me. So much that I didn't detect rose, even though I knew it was there. I picked out the rose petals before steeping. 2 min @ whatever temp the office hot water dispenser is. While hot, I tasted mostly green tea with faint lychee. As it cooled, the rose flavor came forward. Not a tea for me.
I'm normally not a fan of rose tea. Today's tea was quite pleasant. Good flavor. I don't get the tart flavor, but I could taste something fruity along with the rose. Not something I want to drink everyday, but nice enough to drink when offered.
I wish there was more to try iced, but hot was perfume heavy.
I am not a fan. All I could think when I tasted this is that it tastes like I'm drinking soap from Bath and Body Works. The green tea would be good on its own, but the lychee and rose are not for me. I tried adding honey and it was slightly better but I still couldn't finish the cup unfortunately.
The rose was the star of this tea so if you're someone who likes rose flavor than this is probably the tea for you. It was mostly just floral and not much flavor (I may have used a little too much water).
I do like scented/floral green teas but the rose in this is far too strong for me. My son, on the other hand, finished off my cup and rebrewed, so those who enjoy the floral dominating over the green tea will enjoy.
smells like an old grandma. Down the drain it goes.
I didn't get any strong smell out of the bag, just Green Tea smell. No real overwhelming Rose smell or flavor, thankfully which can be too floral sometimes. This is my first experience with Lychee so I didn't really know what to expect or detect. It was better iced than hot. I sampled this as part of the CommuniTEA (August box).
Update: this has become the only rose tea I will drink. A spring favorite.
2024: I love the Lychee best cold brewed this one for today.
I could make up my mind about this one. It smells very floral, which isn't a favorite, and there is a citrusy aftertaste that I'm not fond of. But the first sip is quite good. Definitely one I'd drink piping hot, since as it cooled the citrus and floral became more pronounced.
This was just not my palate. At all. I am not a fan of any of these flavours individually, and together they were even more offensive to me. It's like being in a dunk tank filled with the rejects of Macy's perfume aisle. BUT if you do like rose and lychee and green tea, then hey, I guess this would be a winner.
2.6.23 - still really lovely
When i opened the packet I thought 'I'm going to love this' because I love lychee and rose. I like i; I might like the smell better than the taste, which is mostly melon. I get it all, but mostly. I really like it though.
A solid no from me. Very strong rose scent and taste. Like drinking fruity/floral perfume. Those who like floral/rose teas will love this one. Not my cup of tea.
4/12/2022 - Still a very solid nope from me. Hope others enjoy their cuppa though!
2/6/2024 - This tea is always problematic for my personal palate. I do not gravitate to green teas. I carefully brewed this one to see if my taste/opinion had changed. The green tea has a grassy scent and taste for me...and that's a taste note I just can't sip happily. I'm one of those who has a distinct aversion to cilantro, and I believe that also translates into a marked dislike of decidedly green/grassy tastes. I have found a few green teas that I love and enjoy - this tea is not one of them. It tastes like broccoli water fresh from a vegetable steamer for me. Can't do it. Most of the time I do not like rose in my tea. I have found a few instances where I really enjoy a rosy tea, but for the most part it's a firm no for my tea cup when it's a very forward part of the flavor. I'm big on needing a lovely aroma from my tea cup. This tea...well, for me, it smells odd. So this blend is still firmly in the 'not my cup of tea' category for me. Tastes/smells like I'm drinking a cup of Great Auntie Ida's perfume. But, I did recently try a blend that had this tea in the mix and it was really good. So keeping this at 3 stars. I can't sip this on its own, but blended with other teas, it was ok. Not every tea is for every cup. And this tea is just not what I enjoy. Glad to see that others enjoy it though!
2024: This tea is a bit too floral for my taste these days.
2023: This tea is good! It has strong notes of lychee and hints of rose can be tasted at the end of a sip.
Sweet but balanced, bright and floral. My new favorite green tea blend. Perfect with a teaspoon of honey.
This tea was good, but not fantastic. I tend not to like teas where the 'X flavor' comes through strongly, though, so keep that in mind. The flavoring didn't taste as natural as it could have, but I don't think a tea with actual lychee in it would have worked out well, so YMMV.
Lychee rose green is an exotic blend. The flavor combines the light and smooth base of the green tea, with the delicate flavor of the rose, and the sweet and tangy apples and lychees. The result is a luscious and delicious cup, with a burst of sweetness and a touch of fragrance.
I’m on the fence about this one, first sip I was hit by a strong grass taste, but the aftertaste mellowed out to its sweetness and floral notes. Definitely better as it cooled so perhaps it would make a better iced tea than hot.
