Yum, tasty tea. I grew up with lychee tress in our neighborhood so this is a nice addition to my green teas!

★★★★☆

This one is definitely an acquired taste. It smells wonderful but the rose is very powerful. I am still working on finishing what I purchased - definitely not horrible, but not my favorite.

★★★★★

My current favorite tea. I drink mug of hot first then make a tumbler of cold tea to take with me.

★★★★★

This tea is really delicious!!! Highly recommended.

This is such a beautiful tea with amazing flavor. I love it hot with coconut milk and cashew milk or cold just by itself. It doesn't even need sweetener no matter how you choose to enjoy it!

★★★★★

My favorite green tea - perfectly balanced with rose petals and apple pieces. I drink this tea daily.

★★★★★

I love floral teas, but even I was taken aback at how perfumey the lychee made the bag smell when I opened it. Fortunately I found the tea tasted delightfully floral but not to the extent of perfume that I feared. The lychee is dominant, but I still get hints at rose and the green tea itself. Not bitter, astringent, or grassy.

We like Lychee Fruit- and green tea. This seemed like something we would like to try- it didn’t disappoint! I like to add a little locally sourced honey, but hubby liked it with no additives.

★★★★★

This is by far my favorite tea. It smells and tastes great. It's floral but smooth. It always brings up my mood.

Very fruity and bright. I think it is best for spring or summer. I really liked it and bought a bag after receiving a sample. I will try to cold brew it this spring, I think that would be lovely and refreshing.

★★★★★

This is the tastiest, most beautiful green tea. Everything about it is perfect.

a great flavor: subtle and sweet. I was inspired to order this flavor after having an amazing lychee rose peach flavored drink in a tea shop. This tea replicates the flavors i loved about lychee and rose in that drink without needing a ton of sugar.

There's a lot more rose than lychee in this tea, which isn't a problem for me personally, but if you're reading reviews hoping for a very strong lychee flavor: not so much. Still very nice, floral and sweet, though the tea itself sort of disappears under the other flavors.

Holy flavor, Batman. This is so yummy!! Not overpowering floral, mild and pleasant. Would be amazing hot or cold!

This one is one I keep coming back to! It is floral and even and amazing! A good blend when you want to go for something that pairs well with any type of food or dessert!

This tastes exactly how it smells... it has a very perfumy rose and floral scent/taste. I like a good floral tea, but it's probably not for everyone.

★★★★★

one of my favorites, perfect notes of lychee, high quality green tea

Love, love, love this tea! I’ve been ordering it for the past three years at least. It is in my favorite and one of my goodies. I really enjoyed in the summertime iced and in the colder season hot. It is light and soothing the lychee and the rose is a very good combo not too overpowering. Highly recommend!

SO refreshing and lovely! The rose flavor isn't too strong or perfume-y and the lychee flavor doesn't taste artificial.

This is a very floral and fruity tea! The lychee flavor is VERY strong, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who doesn't enjoy that taste, but I'm personally a huge fan of it, and it blends with the rose very well! This tea pairs wonderfully with honey, and would make a very tasty iced tea!

This is my daily, go to tea, and order this one by the pound. This light floral green tea is perfect on ice, and is delightful. Its so amazing, i don't feel any need to add a sweetner (splenda is typically my go to). When I'm introducing others who enjoy green tea- they immediately fall in love and ask where they can buy it.

This is one of my absolute favorite green teas. The sweetness of the lychee combines with the perfume of the rose to make for a most delightful cup of tea.

★★★★★

Wow. A new favorite! I wish I had gotten the big bag. I recently discovered that I LOVE rose teas, and this one delivers. Will definitely get this one again.

★★★★★

Holy crap this stuff smells AMAZING! Tastes delicious, too. One of my new top 5.

I generally like this tea, the rose is a strong flavor, but to me it's fairly well balanced against the slight grassiness of the green tea.

★★★★★

This tea is so fruity and good!
I get the essence of rose, but mostly a delightful Lychee taste. I will be passing some of this onto my friend for sure!

This tea has left me wanting this to be mixed a bit different. It has a weird artificial sweetness to it. The smell upon opening a bag is nearly pungent but does get better when brewed. Don't over steep this. I love lychee so I was very excited to find this. If I make it weaker and add the cream tea, it's much better.

Better than expected ...a lovely new take on flavored green tea.

★★☆☆☆

Definitely not for me, the rose scent was so strong I almost couldn’t bring myself to give it a taste. It doesn’t taste as strongly of rose as it smells, but there are other green teas I would much rather drink.

I actually bought a sample of this and then before opening it, found a packet in my communiTEA box!

I’m the type who only likes green tea iced. Idk why, maybe it’s all the diet Lipton citrus green tea I drank in high school, lol. So I’m familiar with your game, green tea.

I love lychee, the flavor and the fruit. It’s very floral in my opinion. Some have described the fruit as soapy. I might just be weird, but clearly I’m not alone. Mixed with rose, it’s absolutely perfect. I had my wife try it and well… she wasn’t a fan. She said it tasted very floral and I was in awe because I genuinely couldn’t tell. I immediately had picked up on the lychee and the refreshing taste of green tea instead.

I hot brewed and then chilled to serve over ice.

Very sweet, in a good way. The lychee overpowers the rose flavor. I always brew hot tea, but I always notice that the flavor shines through more as this one cools. I believe it would be excellent iced. This is actually my favorite green tea on adagio's site.

I was looking forward to the lychee flavor, but the rose is overpowering - both in scent and taste. I still enjoyed it, but would have preferred more of a balance between the rose and lychee flavors.

★★★★☆

I was hesitant to try this tea since I'm not a fan of Lychee flavored Japanese snacks/candies. However, I was pleasantly surprised with my first sip. While the packet smelled very perfume-y, I tasted more of the sweetness from the lychee instead of the floral rose. I can imagine this would make an excellent iced tea.

A solid tea with a light lychee flavor backed up by a reasonable green base. I would've liked any of the flavors to be stronger but it's not bad at all. Sweet, honeyed and mild, it would probably be good iced.

Opening the CommuniTEA packet, I can smell lychee...yum. This tea is spot on with the flavor of lychee! I brewed at 180F for 2 minutes and it was perfect, a good blend of lychee and green tea and zero flavor of rose.

The lychee flavor is very strong and the rose falls in nicely behind it. It is on the strong side flavor wise, which is what keeps it from being five stars in my opinion.

I really liked this one! I does have a bit of a perfume scent/taste and I found it odd that I loved that!! Definitely unique. I am definitely a fan!!

As soon as I read the description of this tea I was concerned. A rose tea with tartness? I really love rose tea, but not with tart flavor notes. I brewed this tea for 3 minutes at 185F. That brew resulted in a very mild, close to tasteless tea. I could detect a faint rose taste. I was concerned that if I tried to brew it longer that it might turn bitter. I have other rose teas here at home that I like much better

Not bad, not great, just okay. It takes a bit for me to like a floral tea and I have found a few I like on adagio. But this one has a nice scent, I like the lychee note but nothing really stands out for me to say “yum”

I have to preface this with I don't really enjoy floral flavors. It is a green tea, but the flavor is all lychee and rose. Because they are so similar, the lychee and rose blend and meld together well. It's not really my flavor, but I can grant that this is good in its own right. A 3A for personal taste.

I was somewhat leery of this CommuniTEA offering, but I've had it in blends with some success. Interestingly, this flavored green was better than I expected. While I wouldn't want it sitting around my tea pantry, it's not bad for something different. This is at once lightly fruity thanks to the lychee and floral thanks to the rose. On the green tea base, it's a refreshing combination. The lychee reminds me of melon, and I'm surprised that I actually find myself enjoying the cup since I don't care for melon, but I think the floral notes from the rose balance it well enough to make it tolerable. This is naturally sweet enough on its own and needs no additional sweetener. (1.5 minutes @ 175F)

I really wanted to enjoy this, but I think the rose was too overpowering, perhaps? And combined with the lychee the scent alone was musty in a strange way. I enjoy rose scented and flavored things, and I also love lychee and lychee flavoring, but the combination here is not at all to my preference.

CommuniTEA sample: 2 min @ 180, second infusion for 3 min @ 180. I was a little bit worried that the rose petals and flavoring would overpower the green tea, but it didn't! The first thing I noticed when I tasted it was the green tea, slightly bitter, but not too grassy or anything, a very nice, mild taste. Then I noticed a little bit of tart fruitiness from the lychee, and then that builds into something sweet, a little bit tropical tasting, and a little bit like grape. The rose is present, it was much weaker in the second cup, but in the first, I could definitely get that perfume sweetness as well; I think it blended well with the flavor from the lychee. Both have their own subtle sweetness, and I really like that neither of them overpowered the green tea directly.

I don't care for most green teas and I don't like a strong rose flavor. For me, this was a combination that was doomed from the get go.

I was on the fence for this one because I'm not super into rose in tea, but the rose flavor wasn't as intense as I feared. Very fruity, but floral.

I actually was not put off by this tea because of the rose. I prefer a light rose flavor over a heavy handed lavender. Lychee is one of those weird looking fruits we all glance at in the grocery store but never buy. Together, these two flavors could only work with a green tea. I did not find the rose profile overpowering, and the lychee reminds me of watered down pineapple. I decided to try it iced, and it was not bad at all. I would not purchase this or put it on my 'wish list', but it was an interesting tea.

Updated review: My tastes changed and I like this better than I did the last time CommuniTEA sipped it. I enjoyed it hot with a dash of sweetness. The Lychee and the rose are a nice combo with green tea. Cheers!

I drank my CommuniTEA packet chilled today and it was good. I probably wouldn’t seek this one out too often, but if you enjoy lychee, give this a chance. Happy sipping
