Still my favorite tea (sugar goes crazy)
It's also the best tea in my entire pantry

I love this tea. It is *very* floral, so if that's not your thing, give it a pass. But I find that it's balanced nicely with the lychee flavor, which also gives it a touch of sweetness. Overall, a very smooth and solid cup of tea.

★★★★★

I am quite the lychee lover, so upon finding this tea, I was elated yet worried it wouldn't live up to my expectations. Upon first trying: I was thoroughly impressed and my expectations for this tea were exceeded! The lychee flavor with the green tea is a truly lovely pairing. It's a refreshing yet comforting floral and lightly fruity green tea. I wasn't sure where I would land rating wise, as I usually enjoy florals quite a bit but fruity teas are iffy for me, but I LOVE this tea. A favorite for me :)

an easy go-to on the daily round, particularly for warm weather. Well balanced sweet fruit with light but noticeable rose aroma-- really perfect for a green tea.

Love, love.. I like this tea. So tasty and flavored tea.

really fragrant and smooth taste! highly recommend if you love floral flavours, i had a similar tea from a tea shop and was pleasantly surprised to see that this one was really similar as i love that drink.

Perfect light, spring tea. Not too much rose! I worry when floral flavors are added that they will take over and this did not at all. Super delicious and well balanced.

★★★★☆

It’s a nice tea. You can definitely taste the delicate rose but I don’t much taste the lychee. That being said I’d still repurchase as it still tastes great.

★★★★☆

This smells exactly like gummy bears. It's a very fruity green. I ordered a sample and it's fine, but I'm not sure yet if I'll make it a regular.

A very nice flavored green tea! I really liked it, and will probably buy more in the future. (Made at 90c)

This tea smells amazing! It’s great as iced tea too!

Bought this for my friend for her birthday! She said she likes it, that it's a nice mix. Fruity, but it doesn't overpower the green tea, and that it's sweet but not too sweet

★★★★★

Lovely aroma when you open the packet. The rose smell and flavour is balanced and natural. The lychee flavour just slips right in. It’s going to be one one of my favourite!

Delicious! The rose flavor is perfectly balanced, not overpowering. I can’t pinpoint the lychee but I think it’s helping to round it out and adds a mild sweetness.

Another go to for me. Ready to restock and enjoy another cup

One of my favorite green teas! Not overly fruity and still has a nice brightness to it. If these sound like flavors you would enjoy, you will probably like this tea!

Very surprised! The smell was a bit overwhelming when I opened the package. Once brewed it mellows out a bit, still a lot of flavor but it all comes together nicely with a very different combination of flavors that work well together. I didn't think I'd like this by just smelling it so don't give up until you try it! Not something I could drink daily but will definitely have some around for when the mood hits!

A nice, mellow cup. The lychee flavor is there but not overwhelming, and I love the way it mingles with the rose.

★★★★★

Love the rose scent and subtle fruit taste. This one is good with or without sweetener.

I love the lychee flavor in it. The rose is more of a background note while the lychee is more forward facing. I imagine it would be really nice as an iced tea too, but I had it hot.

★★★★★

This has become my everyday afternoon cup. I had been looking for a lychee flavored tea and this one is wonderfully fragrant and flavorful.

I'm not normally a green tea drinker but I really enjoyed this one. The rose is strong and the green tea is mild, not grassy, with a slight fruitiness.

This tea has a yummy honeyed fruit like flavor. The green tea isn't grassy and the rose isn't too overwhelming although I'm not usually a fan of floral or green tea. It was a nice tea and I'm glad I got a chance to try this one.

Surprisingly tasty. I cold brewed it and although it has a different kind of taste, I enjoyed it. It wouldn’t, however, be in my top favorite teas.

I tried this first hot and thought it was just okay; I love lychee and didn't seem to notice it much in the first cup. Then I tried steeping it overnight in the fridge, and I LOVE it as an iced tea. The lychee and rose are very well-balanced and perfect on a warm spring day.

This was a bit perfume like hot, but I enjoyed it iced.

I love the tropical, fruity aroma and taste of this tea! It also has some nice floral notes that compliment the green tea very well. Definitely a tea that I'm adding to my wish list!

This is close to the worst tea I have ever tasted, even Hibiscus is better, it tasted like rotten fruit and grass clippings with a cheap perfume aftertaste, simply disgusting, one sip is all I could handle.

This is a unique and fun flavor. It’s been a couple decades, I think, since I tried lychee fruit at a Chinese restaurant in my hometown. This is reminiscent of that experience, especially the scent. The tea tastes sweet and a little floral, and is nicely balanced. I could definitely see myself drinking this again.

This tea isn't for me. I tried it and it tasted as floral and perfume-ey as it smelled, even with agave added to try and bring up those mentioned grape and melon notes. There was some sweetness, but it was lost due to the rose. Had my mother try it, and she didn't enjoy it either and described it as 'flowers that sit at the top of your mouth and just stay there'.

I iced my sample, used about 3 teaspoons with about 10 oz of 180F water. 3minutes. Then let cool to room temperature before adding ice. Enjoyed with some rock sugar.

UPDATE 5/23/2023: Today I drank this Rea both hot and cold. I had it last year once because it was in a CommuniTea box and I liked it. However, I didn’t remember the details, plus I wanted to try it cold too. I brewed it hot at 180 degrees for 2 minutes and let it sit another couple of minutes. It was yummy! I drank half my 12oz mug hot, then poured the rest into my ActiviTEA travel glass and let it chill. It was equally good - for me, anyway. It has a light taste of rose which might not be to everyone’s liking, and it also had a light, fruity taste. It was delicious hot and refreshing cold. It would be great to have a pitcher of this in the fridge, especially during the hot summer months. I highly recommend it!

I really liked this tea! I’ve never had lychees before but I enjoyed the flavor they gave to this tea, along with the rose flavors. I’m not always a fan of green teas because they can sometimes be grassy but this blend was not. I kept the water temp a bit below boiling and I steeped it for 2 1/2 minutes and it was great. I would be happy to drink this one again.

I had this tea once before, warm, and I liked it but didn’t love it.
Iced it this time and it was delicious. Fruity and soft with some floral tones. Just great.

This is lovely. The lychee and rose are complementary and keep the sweetness and floral notes of each other in check. Not a grassy green either.

This is an excellent green tea with a very strong rose flavor and some nice sweetness from the lychee. The green tea was very subtle and not too strong or grassy. Lighter than some other greens, but with great depth of flavor. Steeped for five minutes at approximately 85 degrees Celsius.

In the bag: Most of my packet is the roughly chopped, dark green leaves of tea. A few apple pieces. A scattering of rose hips.

On the nose (pre-steep): Lychee and rose are the clear scents. They combine to create a gentle, floral flavor that has a touch of sugar and surprising depth.

On the nose (post-steep): The lychee and rose duo has faded a tad. Mild grassy notes have come forward to blend with them. Not intense.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): A balanced flavor. Grassy green provides a savory angle to the fruit and floral additives. No astringency.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): A touch of sweetener helps to boost the rose and lychee flavors.

Opinion: A surprisingly complex and well-balanced blend. I enjoyed savoring the layers of flavor. I recommend only a touch of sweetener.

Preparation: First steep 4 min, second steep 8 min. Both @ 175 ℉. ¼ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

First smell, I can clearly smell both the rose and the lychee which has me concerned, for I do not enjoy rose in my tea - or in anything I consume. Heck, I don't even like rose fragrances. Roses are pretty to look at but the smell and flavor - not for me. So, I'm hoping that like most Adagio teas that the fragrance is stronger than the actual flavor.

Unfortunately the rose was very evident in both the hot and cold versions of this tea. At least it wasn't grassy as well. That's the only thing that allowed me to give any stars at all.

2023 update: our taste buds do change over time, this is still not my favorite blend, however with a touch of pure stevia and poured over ice it is really quite enjoyable. The rose doesn't seem to taste so much like hand lotion anymore. Prior review: It is pleasant in its way, but the rose is really all I taste. I associate certain fragrances as culinary but rose is not one of them. It reminds me a bit too much of skin care products.

I don't like rose flavor food or drinks. This isn't my cup of tea. The tea looks pretty with its clear golden color.

I make ice teas and then carbonate them to make seltzers, and this tea is superb as a seltzer. It's fruity and well rounded.

★★★★★

I loved this combination. The rose and lychee go perfectly with the green tea. I will be ordering it again.

★★★★★

This tea is light and fresh and I love it! The lychee gives a bit of sweetness without added suger and the rose adds a nice floral quality.

★★★★★

I bought this as a sample for my roommate for her birthday and she said it was one of the best teas she’s ever had! Would recommend! I love the sample sizes.
