I ordered Jasmine Chun Hao simply because of the jasmine! Both the flavor and scent are present but won't overwhelm anyone new to jasmine teas. Put this on your wishlist!
A classic jasmine tea from Fujian, China, infused with the delicate scent of night-blooming jasmine flowers. Sweet perfumy cup, notes of warmed sugar, slightly toasty like a fresh biscuit. Light, refreshing and not overwhelmingly floral.

I ordered Jasmine Chun Hao simply because of the jasmine! Both the flavor and scent are present but won't overwhelm anyone new to jasmine teas. Put this on your wishlist!
I don't like floral teas, and I prefer black to green teas for strength of flavor.
And yet this jasmine tea has got me LOVING it! I'm now a jasmine tea convert. I brew it a little longer sometimes for strength because I love making milk tea with this when I've got the craving for bubble tea but don't want to go out. I'm going to get a bigger bag next time and try cold brewing.
This was sent to me by a friend and I am OBSSESSED with it. I bought the massive bag and I drink it way too much but it's just so so so delicious.
A fairly average Jasmine tea - I didn't notice anything particularly special, but it was a nice tasting tea as far as jasmine teas are concerned.
This is good jasmine tea but if you like jasmine teas I would pay more for the jasmine pearls if you can.
Lovely bright jasmine taste. Reminds me of the taste of honeysuckle flowers from when I was a kid. It's refreshing iced and lightly sweetened. Tastes like a dewy spring day.
First, I love jasmine tea. Second, I wasn't sure this jasmine tea would be any better than Jasmine Phoenix Pearls or Jasmine Yin Hao. However, it does outrank Jasmine Yin Hao for me. The dry tea has a jasmine fragrance that seems more subtle to me. Don't get me wrong-- it's unmistakably jasmine! It just doesn't smack me in the face. And steeped, it also seems softer. I value that naturalness. It's as if the leaves come from a jasmine plant instead of being a different species that has been carefully jasmine integrated. I won't give up on Jasmine Phoenix Pearls since they offer the fun of an unfurling visual show. Each jasmine tea has its own niche, but I want all three in my tea pantry. Definitely happy with this purchase. :)
Very floral, reminiscent of one used at a local restaurant. I brew it at top end of recommendation, which can make it just slightly bitter.
I generally shy away from green teas because they taste like grass to me. However, this tea is the perfect balance of flowery and fruity. The flower scent is nice and pleasant, but the taste is not overpowering. Definitely the perfect tea to convince me not all green teas are bad.
Normally if drinking something hot, I prefer sweet teas. This, however, I was sold on from first sip when it was in the communitea.
Delicate and floral, very light taste. I got a sample size this time but next time I think I’ll get a bigger bag.
I love all kinds of jasmine teas and this one is no exception, lovely aroma and a nice delicate taste
I don't know if this will make sense to anyone but I brew this tea when I'm feeling more aggressive about the day and not wanting to sit back and relax.
I like anything Jasmine and the Chun Hao doesn't let me down. I love it because it's flavor is excellent and it's less expensive than the Jasmine Pearls.
This was excellent - while not the very best Jasmine green tea I've had, the flavor is delicate and the tea itself is just grassy enough without feeling like you're eating lawn clippings :)
CommuniTEA portion: 180 for 2 minutes. Such a nice light green jasmine tea. The jasmine notes were immediate upon opening the package and stayed with the sip. Floral and lovely!
This is a flavorful jasmine tea. It tastes great and helps with digestion.
This is a very floral tea with a gardenia like scent and a strong jasmine flavor. It resteeps many times well. My favorite resteep was the third one. It had a more delicate floral taste with the friendly green tea base revealing more of its muted buttery notes. There was a slight but pleasant astringent finish to the sip. Chilled and poured over ice, the jasmine taste had extra room to bloom as the ice melted. A little sweetening made it a delightful iced tea.
3 grams of dark green leaves spilled out of my CT packet with a very sweet aroma. Brewed 12 oz. for 2:45 min. at 180*F. Would brew 14 oz. to start next time. The sunny yellow liquor had the same lovely gardenia-like scent as the dry tea. It was very sippable unsweetened but a sweetener add, just a little, elevated the delicious jasmine flavor. Each 5 oz. resteep yielded a more muted floral taste. In the last resteep, steep #4, the flower power had all but vanished leaving just the essence of a nice green tea with a whispery floral accent. I enjoyed the many shades of jasmine flavor this tea had to offer. It's a great one to sip and savor for an immersive jasmine experience!
A beautiful jasmine tea. The aroma was delectable, but I found the tea to be a little too sweet for me. I love jasmine dragon pearls because the hint of sweetness is followed by a solid floral flavor. I really wished this tea had more of that floral quality. This was more honeyed and bready, much like a biscuit as the description promises. If that’s your taste, you’ll adore this tea, but I personally found it falling just a hair short of my preferences. Still, I give it 5 stars for being exactly as advertised and exceptional in the ways it claims to be.
I have trouble discerning the nuances of jasmine tea. The floral is generally overwhelming and completely disguises the green tea. This one, however, I can taste some sweet green tea, reminding me of pi lo chun. With barely a sprinkle of sugar to cut the bitterness, these flavors meld well together. If you like jasmine tea, this is a beaut!
Floral and has a hint of natural sweetness, not overly grassy, very good hot and cold!
lovely floral flavor. i love jasmine tea and find it very aromatic
This is good green tea enjoy this one and it smell good too.
Delicious green tea with floral notes of jasmine and a bit of natural sweetness. Definitely get multiple steeps with a classy profile of flavors! Cheers!
I tried with an open mind but could just not wrap my taste around this. The jasmine scent was quite strong - especially when brewed. The taste just did not mesh with my taste buds. Flower lovers would most likely really enjoy. 175 for 2 minutes.
The dry leaves smell horrendous but once brewed, it has a nice smell to it. I brewed it at 180 for 2 minutes. It tastes like if you just munched on jasmines. I used to eat them as a child.
This is the first jasmine like tea that doesn't taste artifical very delicate tea. I loce how this tea isn't like drinking perfume and more like a nice floral green tea instead.
I really love jasmine Phoenix Pearls and expected I would love this tea as well but I found it to have a bit too much jasmine taste. I am rating it 4 stars because I did 3 steeps (at 180 degrees for 3 minutes) in my gaiwan but poured them all in my travel tea mug with raw honey for green teas. I would like to try this one again and in a more civilized manner!
This tea smelled so great right out of the packet. Not sure why I haven't tried it before.
This is the last of the adagio jasmines for me to try. As per the norm, I LOVED it! For me, this has a slightly sweeter cut to it than jasmine yin hao. As typical with a jasmine tea, all I want to do is hold my nose over the steam for a while and just close my eyes and relax. It's very hard to be in a bad mood with jasmine in my cup.
This is a beautifully balanced, 'simple' jasmine tea! This is one of my go-to teas when I am in the mood for a jasmine tea. The flavor isn't harsh or grassy, and it has the right amount of astringency. Yum!
When I opened the CommuniTEA packet, I immediately noted the lovely floral aroma of jasmine. I steeped the tea for about 3 minutes and it produced a beautiful yellow cup of tea. The tea had a delicious and smooth taste. The jasmine is not overpowering at all. Such a delightful tea that I will certainly order again!
The leaves are pleasantly fragrant. Once brewed, the green tea is smooth, not grassy. The Jasmine flavor is light and enjoyable. I steeped mine for 5 minutes. I would do a little less next time.
A mild tea I was surprised to find perfectly drinkable. Most green teas tend to put me off as they're either like a cup of freshly ground grass or as if you've gotten a mouth full of flower petals. This one does have a touch of floral aftertaste, but the grassiness is thankfully absent. It's crisp - yes, matching the description's way of a sweetened biscuit almost. Sweet on the nose, light on the tongue, and smooth. Worth a try if you're not into the majority of green tea but wanting to still give them a try.
It smells just like the jasmine bush outside my childhood home, so that certainly biases me in its favor. The flavor is nicely balanced between floral and grassy, preventing it from being either too perfume-y or too vegetal.
It's just a good tea, bit of a weird flavor that I could see some people not liking but I'm so here for it.
Love the smell and taste of this tea. Nice and smooth, this one is a keeper.
This is a nice Jasmine tea. I love how relaxing the scent is. 185 for 2 min.
This is a nice, light, jasmine tea with a nice perfumey taste to it. It reminds me of the tea that is served at every table at our favorite Chinese restaurant. It’s the perfect beverage for me when having a nice dinner. I believe it also helps with digesting that meal, plus it has a soothing quality. Looks like I’ll be adding it to my wishlist!
This is a pure and simple jasmine. Heavily perfumed florals blend with gentle sweet and toasty notes. As a jasmine lover, I enjoyed this tea!
This was an ok tea to me. I'm not a big green tea or floral drinker so it wouldn't be my first pick. But it wasn't too strong with Jasmine or grassy.
My first experience with a jasmine tea and I was not disappointed. I have enjoyed the rose and lavender teas from the CommuniTEA and this tea is just as enjoyable.
🙏🏻🍵☸️ A Tea Party in a Jasmine Garden. At one time..I was seemingly not a fan of Jasmine Tea. Through this tea adventure & palate evolution with Adagio..I now see the Joy of Jazzy, Dewy-Jeweled Jasmine..floral-fresh-tea-fun! And presently, would reach for any of the glorious iterations of Jasmine teas or blends. This blend is absolutely beautiful.. overflowing floral green jubilance, in every sip. Takes you away..to Springtime in FullBloom!
Strong floral flavor that softens as the tea cools from hot to warm. The aroma as you drink it is also very strong.
Back in the day, Jasmine was my jam, as I age not so much. This is a smooth green but the presence of floral is so overwhelming that is just not enjoyable.
What a stunning tea! Very fragrant and such a beautiful flavor. If you love jasmine tea, you've got to try this one from Adagio. 2 mins @ 180°F, slightly sweetened.
I don’t like jasmine. There was an extremely strong scent of jasmine when I added water to the tea leaves and the taste of the jasmine was overwhelming to me and the whole thing gave me a headache. I think this would be an excellent tea for anyone who likes jasmine flavored teas; it’s just not for me.
Not always a fan of jasmine tea but this one is very pleasant. Not overpowering perfume. Good for the style.
I love the smell of jasmine, but I can be picky about green teas. Usually, jasmine green tea is a big miss for me. This cup was just the right note of jasmine without being perfumy. Not something I'd normally gravitate towards, but I enjoyed it. :)
In the bag: Ingredients here are pretty straightforward: Just the roughly chopped, dark green leaves of tea. Brittle. Some stems made it into the packet as well.
On the nose (pre-steep): Floral jasmine notes accompany the slightly musty, grassy scent of green tea. Medium intensity.
On the nose (post-steep): Very similar to the pre-steep scent. As is usual with green teas, though, the steep washed away the musty accent.
On the tongue: The jasmine is loud and proud, hitting the tongue right from the start of the sip. The semi-sweet grassy flavor of the green sweeps in right after.
Opinion: An excellent tea. Surprisingly nuanced, the jasmine pairs well with the green, especially on the tongue. The floral and earthy notes both complement and offset each other, preventing either from getting too strong.
Preparation: 3 min @ 175 ℉, no sweetener (Jim R. recommended this)
