I love the smell of jasmine, but I can be picky about green teas. Usually, jasmine green tea is a big miss for me. This cup was just the right note of jasmine without being perfumy. Not something I'd normally gravitate towards, but I enjoyed it. :)
In the bag: Ingredients here are pretty straightforward: Just the roughly chopped, dark green leaves of tea. Brittle. Some stems made it into the packet as well.
On the nose (pre-steep): Floral jasmine notes accompany the slightly musty, grassy scent of green tea. Medium intensity.
On the nose (post-steep): Very similar to the pre-steep scent. As is usual with green teas, though, the steep washed away the musty accent.
On the tongue: The jasmine is loud and proud, hitting the tongue right from the start of the sip. The semi-sweet grassy flavor of the green sweeps in right after.
Opinion: An excellent tea. Surprisingly nuanced, the jasmine pairs well with the green, especially on the tongue. The floral and earthy notes both complement and offset each other, preventing either from getting too strong.

You need to really like floral teas to like this one. The jasmine is... a lot. Like, perfume aisle at Macy's kind of a lot. Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty aroma, but I'm more in the 'tea that tastes like food, not flowers' camp. Those who love floral teas, though, you're gonna be all about it.

The tea has an overpowering floral aroma. Once brewed, its floral aroma lessens a little bit and is overshadowed by its floral flavor. This tea will be most appreciated by those who love strong floral aromas and flavors.
There was a bitterness to this tea that never really went away, but after adding one single sugar packet and pouring it over ice, it really came together. Theres a nice flowery taste to it, and this wasn't a bad first Jasmine blend to try
UPDATED from 2/15/21: There is a light grassy aroma from the CommuniTEA packet as it opens, and the dark, curled dry leaves slide into the infuser. After steeping the leaves are now open, broad, and green with a light floral aroma. But as my mouth meets the tea, the taste is extremely astringent. It is an unpleasant first impression as the tea greets me with a bite. I take a step back and add ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) and that calms the astringency. The tea cools down and now becomes lovely and earthy. The second steep is even better since it is milder and smoother. This cup goes down quickly and I find myself steeping the leaves again and again for more. How enticing this tea has become! Even though we started off badly, we part as friends. ( 2 mins @ 180ºF + sweetener).
This is my go-to in the summer for making batches of iced tea. I normally avoid flavored teas, but I will always make an exception for a jasmine green. I believe this has been scented in the traditional way using jasmine buds (it's not added flavoring). It definitely packs a punch without being too overpowering.
For making a batch of iced tea, I bring a pot water to about 180 on the stovetop, then add 2-3 tsps of tea and steep for 2 minutes before straining into my carafe to let cool, then keep in the fridge for the week. Sometimes I add rose petals or lavender to the brew as well.

I'm not really getting any jasmine scent or taste from this, just normal green tea. That said, it is a nice green tea. The blends from other brands I tried didn't have any flavor whatsoever to them, and this definitely does. Not bitter, smooth, and very mildly grassy.
Exactly what I want in a jasmine tea. It's herbaceous, flowery, and delicate, but assertive enough to be tasted through a head cold!

Another recent acquisition in my quest to find a green tea I like. I had a sample of a jasmine tea from another vendor that I liked, so thought I’d try this one. I was worried when I opened the packet, as the floral aroma was quite strong. It’s not as overwhelming once brewed, and the flavor is pleasantly sweet.
This tea tastes so very close to my favorite green tea from Ito En, but now I don't have to go hunt for the bottles! I can just make it at home. This will definitely be in my stash at all times.
Fantastic light tasting tea. Extremely easy to drink and no need to add anything to the brew at all. Lightly floral as described, smooth to drink, and could be brewed a few times. I brewed a bit longer than recommended a few times, but no issues at all with a longer time.

This tea is exactly as described--smooth, toasty, and lightly floral. It reminds me of the jasmine bubble tea you can get at some places, just without the milk and boba. It's good for 2-3 steeps, depending on how strong you like it, just don't let it steep for too long.

I love the flavor of jasmine, so I love this tea! It's nice and floral, without making me feel like I have to sneeze. I think I'm going to try mixing this tea with a little bit of peppermint because jasmine + mint is a combo I love and I think this tea would be well-suited for it
A wonderful green jasmine at an excellent price! To me it tastes every bit as good as pricier teas and is very smooth.
The flavor of the tea in this blend is so light that it is completely overpowered by the jasmine, leaving the brew tasting like jasmine water. Certainly this is not damning, but it is not for me.

A beautiful Jasmine tea. Smells like I am surrounded by Jasmine flowers and tastes like a delicious jasmine garden without being over powering this tea is a delight. Light on body yet full of flavor! Floral notes throughout, buttery mouth feel. A tea I will go back to time and time again.

Soft jasmine and green tea, which is a change from my fav Jasmine silver needle, a bit higher in caffeine. I would describe this as a shyer jasmine than the silver needle though, it feels gentler.. pairs well with honey.
