a delicate and balanced jasmine green; great hot or iced. Needs honey to mellow it out. Also great as a milk tea latte
A classic jasmine tea from Fujian, China, infused with the delicate scent of night-blooming jasmine flowers. Sweet perfumy cup, notes of warmed sugar, slightly toasty like a fresh biscuit. Light, refreshing and not overwhelmingly floral.

flowery fresh tasting green tea without a strong grass flavor. very refreshing.
I hate to post negative reviews, but I have to today. This was definitely not my cuppa tea. It was too floral, and too savory green. It came across like spinach water with perfume. If you are a fan of green and floral, you’d probably like it though.
I love jasmine tea! Nice jasmine aroma from the packet. 3 min @ 165. This has nice jasmine flavor and I would definitely recommend for anyone who likes jasmine tea.
Jasmine is not my flavor. I don’t care for this tea.
Of Adagio's Jasmine offerings, this is probably my least favorite. It's still good, but I don't enjoy it as much as others. Several reviewers note that the jasmine is especially strong in this version, and yet, I found it to be less noticeable than it is in Adagio's Jasmine pearls. That said, it did not come across as soapy as other jasmine teas can sometimes do. I attribute both of these observations to the stronger astringency of green tea base in this jasmine chun hao. Sometimes the astringency of green tea offers a nice counterpoint to the floral notes of jasmine, but in this case, I found it competed with jasmine's delicacy and bordered on overpowering it. It also makes this tea not as naturally sweet as other jasmine offerings, so I felt compelled to sweeten it. All that said, my review contrasts several others, so readers may want to consider this: I am reviewing based on a single CommuniTEA packet that I accidentally let steep a minute or so longer than I meant to. My observations could be flawed. (~2 minutes @ 175F)
Lovely, fragrant, and not overwhelmingly floral as some jasmine teas can be. Very good with a bit of honey.
5/1/24 Communitea: Jasmine Chun Hao is the cheapest of Adagio's jasmine green options, but when compared to a supermarket jasmine tea, it's still miles apart. I find that it's a little rougher on the palate than Jasmine Yin Hao, but stronger on the jasmine flavor to help balance out the slightly lower quality green tea base. Still, unlike a supermarket green, a proper steep comes with no bitterness, just a pleasant tea experience all around!
I couldn’t decide if I liked it or hated it. May have been the floral taste reminded me too much of a lily.
This green tea was lovely on the 2nd and 3rd steeps. I accidentally botched the first by steeping it for too long. The jasmine came on too strong as a result.
Strong floral scent, very good. It's enhanced with a little honey.
A lovely, delicate green tea. As someone who does not like floral teas, I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty this one was. The floral notes are not overpowering. I very much enjoyed this tea.
3 mins @ 180°F
I love jasmine-y teas, this one has a lot of floral! May even need to add some more water to smooth it down
CommuniTEA sample: I will start with the fact that I do not generally like green teas. That said and set aside, this was a decent cup of soft floral tea. I like the floral notes and the sweetness, I did not like the green tea aftertaste I got. I think I'd probably really like it if it was a black or oolong, but as it green it just rubs my tastebuds the wrong way.
This tea is getting a 5* because it is a really good tea, but it is not my favorite jasmine tea. I prefer the
jasmine yin hao and jasmine phenix pearls.
I wouldn’t say I dislike this tea. I’m usually a fan of green and of floral flavors, but the jasmine really overpowers the green for me. I usually go for rose or lavender florals, but this jasmine is a little much, even for me.
This is a very good jasmine green tea. Only slightly more vegetal than Jasmine pearls which are another favorite. A little honey brings out the jasmine for me.
Light and floral, with no vegetal or grass flavors.
Not a huge green tea fan, but even so I can tell it was absolutely lovely! It had a very light and slightly smoked taste that wasn't too strong or overpowering but still easily identified.
Wow, this jasmine green tea is great! It was not too floral to drink but not bland, either. I drank it hot with green tea honey. 170° 3 mins
Perhaps more like a 3.5*! I would certainly drink this again.
Pure green teas aren't my favorite, nor are floral teas, but this one surprised me! It's not grassy or vegetal at all, the floral flavor isn't overpowering, and even without sugar, this tea is pleasantly sweet! Its super enjoyable.
I'm not much of a green tea drinker, but this was a lovely tea, with just the right amount of Jasmine aromas and not bitter at all. I always sweeten green tea if I drink it, but this was fine for me without anything added.
Jasmine indeed! I tried this with the communiTEA otherwise, I wouldn't have. I don't like floral flavors. However, this is a light enchanting tea. I can understand and appreciate how the floral lovers would sing high praise for this one.
Absolutely one of my favorite jasmine teas that Adagio has to offer. The scent alone is swoon worthy. The green tea is not overwhelming, but soft and smooth. There is a slight sweetness from the floral component. It all comes together suberbly.
This is a good quality moderate jasmine tea, if that’s your thing. Jasmine is not my cup of tea, but that’s a personal preference, if you’re a jasmine fan I think you will enjoy this rich aromatic tea.
A Lovely aromatic jasmine tea. The tea is not bitter. Beautiful pale golden yellow color Great with a little honey
I love it! Very tender green tea flavor with beautiful jasmine aroma. I highly recommend it to those who typically do not prefer green tea.
A very nice, delicate jasmine. I found the jasmine flavor to be just right, especially given the sweetness and lack of astringency in the tea. The flavors complement each other well.
This tea is delicious, delicate, and fragrant! This is my first time tasting Jasmine tea, and I am fascinated by the way the flavors present primarily in my nose and sinuses. There is a nice subtle green tea undertone to it. I tried it both hot and cold and enjoyed both. Highly recommend!
This jasmine came to me in a sampler with the Jasmine Yin Hao and I was astonished at how different they are but how well they represent the jasmine flavor. Both are a must try and delightfully unique to compare!
This is great blend for a subtle jasmine taste. It's a lovely cup of tea for any time of day and works well hot or iced.
I did not care for this at all! It tasted to grassy, almost like weeds. I gave it to my sister who liked it better than I did.
Just touch too much jasmine and strong for me when brewed is directed.
Add a little ice water to moisten the tea for a few minutes before you add hot water. This helps softens the flavor.
One of my favorite green teas. Perfect for morning or midday tea, I steep it for a while before I take the bag out. Not too strong.
A fresh, delicately scented tea suited for any occasion. Smells very green and vegetal before steeping and transforms to more fresh floral after a steep. The jasmine flavors only really shine after it's cooled slightly, otherwise you mostly get its presence from the sharp floral aroma. Cooling really intensified the jasmine flavors, so enjoy it quick if you prefer more delicate flavor.
The jasmine is definitely there, but a more delicate flavor than in the other jasmine green tea I've tried (not adagio's.) I think this may be a slightly higher grade green tea. Little to no astringency, it has a little sweetness and almost just barely has a smokey or toasted note at the end? I like it, but I wouldn't mind a punchier jasmine flavor.
A robust jasmine that doesn't overpower. It's my go-to green tea.
A beautifully fragrant tea that I love in the afternoon and evening. It's so soothing to drink while you're resting!
had to steep a little longer than the directions said to get a good jasmine scent, but it was pretty good once I figured it out
This is such a nice base for tea! Its beautifully aromatic and goes amazing with anything floral. I like to add it with rose petals and lavender.
Beautifully flavorful green jasmine tea. Highly flavorful and deliciously fragrant. Would recommend this to any jasmine fan.
Love Jasmine flavored tea. Would suggest this or dragon pearls
Good. Don't let steep too long. Can get too strong if you do that. Otherwise really good jasmine green tea.
Loved it and will reorder, but can't remember if I prefer it or Jasmine Yin Hao. I guess I'll have to order both!
Nicely balanced Jasmine tea, which can be difficult to find since they tend to be too bland or too perfumey. It also keeps very well, just finished a bag that must have been 2 years old and it still tasted strong and fresh.
I first tried this from a friend's suggestion and was not disappointed. It got me hooked on tea. So many new flavors to try!
Perfectly subtle and tasty green tea at an affordable price. This is my go to green tea for daily tea drinking
I love love love Jasmine tea and this is no exception. I usually drink Jasmine when Im ready to wind down
Jasmine Chun Hao is a gem of a floral, light tea! I was kindly gifted some of this tea from a lovely CommuniTEA member, and I'm so happy with the sweet gesture and just love this tea!
Very smooth slight floral and sweet. Tastes wonderful cold or warm. Mixes well with fruity herbal teas when you want to mix things up a bit.
