This is a very mellow tea. It's smells grassy but the taste is very nice. Definitely recommend this one.
The tightly rolled fuzzy buds unfurl to deliver intricate notes of roasted nuts, soft smokiness, and a hop-like crispness. Delicate yet bold.

This is a very mellow tea. It's smells grassy but the taste is very nice. Definitely recommend this one.
I had to use a lot of tea in order for it to be flavorful. So it is a little expensive
I fully admit that the only reason I bought this was because it looked cool. I m not disappointed at all in the taste though. It definitely seems to have a beer or hop-like taste to it with the aftertaste of white grapes. It s a very interesting tea.
Fun nutty flavor. I prefer it iced. Brewed in breville auto brewing kettle.
Very good, though not quite one of my favorites. 1 tsp per cup, 3 mins. at 180F.
Delicious medium bodied tea with a flavor resembling hops and a light, flowery aftertaste. I will definitely order this again.
My dad LOVES this tea. Light, floral, fragrant - a delicious green tea for sure.
Buttery and light, jade snail can be quite soothing. Admittedly, it is a little too light for my tastes. I am comparing this to gunpowder as I had that tea for a while before I purchased this one. Comparatively, I prefer gunpowder, but that by no means makes jade snail a bad tea. The flavor is refreshing and it can be a nice relaxation tea after a hard day's work.
This was not my favorite green tea, but the flavor is definitely interesting.
Jade snail is one of my absolute favorite green teas! It really does have a fruity aftertaste, something a little bit sweet after the excellent Chinese green tea flavor in each sip.
Great Flavor! This is the first time I have purchased this tea.
just what i needed. i'd gotten a little crazy with all the flavors from rhubarb to coconut. You'd like this if you like gunpowder. It has a good aftertaste, i see where the description described it as 'hoppy'
A good every day green tea. The curled leaves are fun.
I little too toasty for me, but you can steep it multiple times without losing any flavor.
This is a really smooth, invigorating tea. It was also fun to make because the leaves start off as little balls, and they unfurl as it steeps.
Needed a new green tea and this one is it. Not bitter at all, smooth, no grassy taste. Bright and blends well with a few jasmine pearls.
This tea reminds me of something...but I just can't put my finger on it. The dry tea leaves smell sweeter than how they end up tasting, as the flavor turns out to be grassier than expected. 'Grassy' really isn't the right word to describe this tea, though. Artichoke-y, perhaps? Maybe like a really good salad? I don't know, but whatever it tastes like, it's pretty good. :P
Wonderful green with a clean, clear flavor, perfect for adding to cold brew blends.
Strong, earthy green tea flavor. Very nice!!!
I tasted a lot of copper with this, and it felt 'dry'. There is nothing wrong with it. I just didn't care for it.
A very good tea, well balanced, not astringent or grassy (though I like grassy green teas too). Not an absolute favorite, but I happily drank up the sample.
This is a Fine tea. Very subtle, but distinctive flavor.
This tea is really very good. Not too grassy perfect with a four minute steep
One of my favorite green teas. I like to reorder this one.
In general I like green tea, but some have a little too much tannin for me...too dry...I just don't like the after taste. BUT THIS TEA!!! MY NEW FAVORITE!!! Smooth...cozy, not dry...I LOVE THIS TEA! Try it!
nice taste... maybe nothing overly special about this, but it tastes good
This is a decent green tea, but it is not my favorite.
An interesting tea. Smoky and hoppy, as others have noted. I don't like it as an everyday tea but it's great when you have a sore throat and need something a bit stronger to kick you awake.
Great flavor all around and even has a good aftertaste. I will definitely be buying more of this tea.
I usually drink sencha green teas. This is nice for a change. Mildly nutty / smoky.
Good earthy flavor. Has a more natural flavor that I was looking for and was very nice
Tried this out for my first green tea here, but didn't expect the taste to be quite so subtle and with an almost 'artichoke' aftertaste. Steeping it longer helps strengthen the flavor a little, but I found it better to just add a bit more leaves than suggested as you won't be able to make a second pot from the same batch.
Very nice green tea.. Love how the
Snails unwrap..
Unique taste, smooth, earthy but not grassy. Kind of tastes like rain smells, if that makes any sense. I am a tea snob and this one us a keeper.
This one reminded me of Ti Kuan Yin, only a little smokier and less floral. But just as smooth, rich and creamy - a good substitute for more expensive green teas.
This a nice green tea! Yes, I agree, it is kool to see the snail leaves expand.
A delicious golden cup of tea with a smooth and slightly mineral nuttiness to it without any astringency. It's not a grassy, green, vegetal variety and it's not a toasty, smokey, darker tasting tea either, so instead, I'd say it's evenly balanced between both. I really like the flavor of this tea!
I'm very 'ehh' about this. It's a very, very light tea, and I like my greens to have more depth to them. There's no nutty or smoky or even much 'green' taste to this one. If I had to describe it, I'd have to say it's a *dried* grassy taste. Eh.
Wonderful quality with mild flavor. You will certainly love this, if you love green tea. It is a great alternative when you are in the mood for a change from black tea, which is what I normally drink
This is a lovely smooth, yet robust green tea. It keeps it's flavor through the second steeping (I usually use the same leaves for a second cup of tea).
Clean and crisp. A nutty note that then turned honey like.
I was surprised to like this tea as the description did not sound like it would suit me. However, I liked it. I nice buttery flavor that I am ordering again today. Very nice find.
Similar to sleeping dragon leaves, good hardy leaves for multiple reuse. I use this at work with a teapot and refill hot water for 2 uses.
Good tea with a lightly smoky flavor. I generally am not a huge fan of the smokiness, and this is pretty much right at the limit of what I like. Overall, good, but not my favorite.
First time you take a sip, you can taste that 'smokiness' dominating in your mouth.
And it leaves the nutty aftertaste.
True to the production description.
This is a great but delicate tea. You have to be carful not to use to hot of water for it or it will burn and taste very bitter. I would recommend be a bit below the temperature it recommends just to be safe.
This tea was OK. I was expecting a bit more from it. It was a bit bland, but had a mild taste if steeped for a longer time.
Very earthy is all I can come up with . A possible smokey taste. With a dry finish.
Jade snail is a good tea to blend with other flavors. I tried it alone and it's wonderfully 'grassy' and has a great scent. I added some fujian jasmine pearl for a real 'pearl' treat. What I found is that it actually makes a very nice cold tea. My cup had cooled considerably, but even cold it has a good herbie taste.
A good well rounded green tea that is pleasant hot or iced.
