This tea is absolutely delightful. I was thrilled to see a yellow tea without a hefty price tag. The dry leaves smell buttery and malty, which I have come to expect from high quality yellow teas. The first infusion was sweet, delicate, and complex at the same time. The flavor was a bit plummy and rich. The second infusion was oddly, but pleasantly, spicy. Be careful not to steep this tea too hot or for too long. It gets bitter when brewed improperly. 175 degrees for two minutes is plenty. This tea is absolutely wonderful when brewed with care.
Very sour, bitter, and overpowering for my tastes. Was happy when I finished my 3oz of it.
This is one of my favorite Adagio teas. It is not like a normal green tea (if I remember correctly, it might even be closer to a yellow tea). The plum flavor is delicious, and this tea was very good after meals.
Good flavor and great bedtime drink. Also makes a fantastic pitcher of Iced Tea.
Very nice! I really liked this tea, and I usually drink it in the late afternoon. It's a good 'lazy time' tea.

This is honestly the best Green Tea I have ever had. Hot or cold with nothing in it, it's amazing. So much flavor, slightly fruity, a little smokey...
Mild and slightly floral, almost sweet. tasty surprise for someone who typically drinks over-steeped Japanese tea, haha.
This tea was very pleasant and mild. Not too bitter and it tasted like a good Chinese tea. Not too grassy but closer to an oolong. I liked it for its gentle green tea flavor and would definitely purchase again. This is something I could drink as an every day tea.

The Adagio selections of hunan black teas are superior to the green. Opt for those if you can. Very noticeable lack of flavour in this cup.
Light and sweet as others have said but light does not necessarily mean weak. Sweet, flavorful taste and a somewhat floral aroma. Would buy again.
Not a bad green. It's light and sweet like a white tea. Do not oversteep it! It gets really bad quickly. Have to watch the time closely.

Good, mild green tea. Not much vegetal or grassy taste. It really has more in common with a light black tea with its slight smokiness. Stands up well to multiple brewing. Very large leaves, so you must use about 2 tsp per cup.

This tea was very good. My first chinese green and I really enjoy it. However Japanese greens still win in my mind.
The smokiness makes this comparable to black teas. It is not unlike dragon pearl tea, which I also highly recommend. The flavor is deep and rich with a chocolate note in the background. Will be ordering regularly.

Good aromas, good flavor, re-infuses well, overall a fine tea. The flavor profile is predominantly that of a green tea, as the name suggests it is a clear yellow-gold color, but it's almost as if a little black tea were mixed in as well. There's no astringency but there is a little darker flavor than many green teas and less green-grassy notes.
This tea is wonderful! I love the color, aroma, and the smooth, soothing flavor. Not bold, I love this tea after the evening meal just to relax and savour.
I ordered a sample of this tea on a whim, but I'm not particularly wowed by it. It has a light, sort of crisp, tangy flavor, but ultimately I found it somewhat simplistic and forgettable. Plus, the tea leaves are so large and long that you can't fit them into a single-cup infuser without needing to break them in half first. I'll keep trying, but I'm just not really sold on it yet.

I like this tea's mellow, fruity taste. It has a 'darker' aftertaste that reminds me of Yunnan Gold. I've made a second cup using the same leaves, and it still tastes nice.
to me this is the good old green tea: smooth, a bit bitter if over-steeped, but otherwise a great choice for grown ups and kids alike

A decent green tea. I found this enjoyable to drink. The description says that it is a yellow tea and I did find it to taste less grassy than other green teas.
It's an ok tea for me, just doesn't have the flavor of a black tea and slightly dry taste to it.
this is an interesting green tea that is very reminiscent of a pleasant and light steeping of a black or gold yunan tea, which is suprising from a green, but a very welcome situation. Its even good for a solid 2 steepings if desired

This tea is pretty good. It can be a little bitter if you over-steep. It's not something I like to drink too often, but it works for a change once in awhile.
I tend to over-steep green tea (I'm getting better!), but this one never goes bitter on me. I prefer my green tea mild, and this does the trick.
This was my first green tea, and I very much so enjoyed it. It has a very nice flavor, but an odd after taste. Would recommend it!

This was my first 'yellow' tea. I was quite impressed. It contained all my favored flavors of green teas without the grassy notes I dislike.
This is maybe the third tea that I have actually been blown away by. I've never tried a yellow tea before, and it really shocked me how good it is. Somewhere between white and green there is another realm of flavor that differs quite a bit from either, and is quite pleasant.
I wasn't a huge fan of this tea until I made it at the correct water temperature and I finally realized the incredible complexity of its flavor. An amazing little tea, almost fruity but with depth. A lovely afternoon tea!
The first green tea I have found to be great as an iced tea. It has enough of a fruity note to give it a distinctive flavor without needing an overpowering source of fruit flavoring added. A great tea!
