wow first off i never knew how many teas there were i jst got my order of the gunpowder and i really like it i must admit the name drew me in and im glad i bought it.It has a very distinct taste not like the green tea in the bottle for 99 cents. This tea is a phenomenal flavor. If you have had sheng(raw pu erh, you can detect that flavor in this tea. that honey sweet taste coupled with smokiness is an amazing combination.
This is a superb start-of-the day tea, full of rich, green flavor. It is robust with the taste of leaves and grass and so healthy.

This is not bad, but it just didn't do anything special for me. I think when it comes to straight tea, not flavored, I need to stick to the higher grades. I am looking forward to trying the master sets, that may be more my speed
I'm actually not a huge fan of green tea because it always seems to leave a funny taste in my mouth but this was absolutely delicious. Definitely one of my favorites.

A pretty smooth cup with minimal astringency. It's a good green, but not my favorite.
This tea is extremely tempermental. I only bought a sample size and all 3 cups I made with it I ended up overseeping by as little as 1 or 2 minutes and the thing is caput.
This is a very strong green tea, so don't oversteep it! Excellent flavor, though, very smooth and clean-tasting. I gave this to my fiance for his holiday gift, and he loved it.

A good gunpowder tea - red/orange color and nice acidity. Gunpowder isn't my favorite, but this one is really good. One nice thing about this tea: the flavor doesn't get too bitter with longer seep times.
This an very good, 'every day' tea. It's good for at least one extra infusion, and to begin with is quite inexpensive. I typically do a quick rinse of the dry leaves prior to steeping, which helps open up the pearls and gives the first cup a stronger flavor. This is a green tea in the most traditional sense, and in a good way.

I really really love this tea. I got a sample and oddly enough it reminds me of a genmai cha I had from somewhere else. This is the perfect savory tea! I think I'll have to make this one a staple in my tea stash.
this is my 3rd order of gunpowder I generally mix it with other green teas to increase the flavor of the other tea such as Moroccan mint tea.
