I've had a hard time locating a gunpowder green tea where we live. I'm glad that this is a regular tea here. It has amazing flavor and is another staple in our tea cabinet.
Good green tea. Because of the small leaves, it is a little harder to get out of the teapot, so I use my individual cup baskets.
Great tea! One of my favorite of the green teas. However, I do not like it quiet as much as the Dragonwell. But that is just my person preference. Overall this tea is very good.

I think I can safely say that this is my new favorite tea. It was after trying this tea, that I fell out of love with almost my entire collection of herbal teas and most of my black tea mixes in favor of Asian green teas. I will always have some of this on hand at all times! It s slightly bitter and takes added sweetness well.
This is my green tea standby. It's the tried and true morning cup. After its first steeping, I like to add a pinch of Pu Erh Dante for the second which ripens the flavor and deepens the tones.

Nice green tea for the price! Don't oversteep or burn, it becomes very astringent. I don't find a second steep to be satisfactory, but again it is relatively inexpensive so I'm okay with that.
This is my first venture into green tea. Previously, I enjoyed your Golden Monkey black tea. I am now a convert to green tea because of your Gunpowder. Great flavor, great aroma, great value.

This was the first time I've drank green tea in pellet or ball form. I think I like it better than the regular stuff. After the steeping, I had a collection of whole leaves. I've always preferred the plain tasting green tea.

This is perhaps the best gunpowder tea that I have had. I give it four stars instead of five only because apparently I just don't find gunpowder teas in general as flavorful as other green teas. It seems that with gunpowder, more than with most other green teas, there is a VERY fine line between using too much and using too little, and between brewing too long vs. not quite long enough.

I had heard a lot about gunpowder tea, but honestly I don't like it. I'm glad I had a sample before investing in a larger amount because it's ... well it's gross. There is this weird chalkiness to it and it has a really strong aftertaste.

This is a solid green tea. It tastes a little like oolong, but more grassy as green tea tends to.
This is a green tea with b*lls. I make myself a strong cup of this when I need a pick me up. I helps that the name is tough too. The flavor is like a traditional green tea with a roasted element as well. It has a slight brown tint that makes you taste the roasted flavor all the more.
I love this tea. It’s a bit stronger than a lot of greens, and lacks that grassy flavor some have. Strong notes of smoke, but not overwhelming. I prefer a bit longer steeping time than recommended.
I have never been a fan of green tea, but considering the number of tea parties I ve been hosting, I thought should have one on hand. This was cheap, the name was fun, and given my taste for Irish Breakfast, this one seemed to do.
It hasn t converted me, my friends say it s good. And if I were to run out of all other caffeinated teas I wouldn t be terribly upset.
