This tea is much stronger than the regular green tea for a fantastic jump-start. I love it.

★★★★★

I really like this tea. One 'pearl' works perfectly for a 12oz cup of tea.

★★★★☆

Definitely need to brew for two cups of water per pearl. Really good. I could taste the nuttiness. LOVE not having to measure. Not sure it's worth the money it costs for how many pearls you get though. Update: my daughter lives this tea and the premesured balls and says it's worth every penny.

This tea is excellent for a small pots of tea. One pearl is plenty for a pot. The flavor never seemed to get bitter even when left to sit in the pot for a very long time. The aroma and and flavor are pleasant and mellow. It is perfect for a grey drizzly day inside.

★★★★☆

Makes a very pleasant brew with one pearl that can be resteeped.

I followed the brewing instructions and the first steep might as well have been hot water I was drinking. The second steep was almost as weak and the bland flavor was most unexciting. If you're interested in pearls...Jasmine Dragon pearls might give you what you are looking for. A higher temperature or longer steep might help this brew so I will experiment more and then update my review.

Fantastic tea. Two balls are plenty for one cup and it can be brewed twice. My husband even liked it and he is not a green tea fan.

★★★★☆

Rich aroma, mild slightly buttery taste, not as good as Dragonwell but a good low priced alternative.

★★★★☆

A nice basic green tea. There's not much to say about it really. If you're looking for a good, normal green tea. This is it! (And of course the pearls are a lot of fun!)

★★★★★

Standard green tea with great flavor and awesome presentation.

★★★★☆

I like the flavor of these pearls, but since they were kind of large I had to make 2 cups of teas at a time.

★★★★★

Brews a good green teas, follow directions and you'll brew a tea of the weaker side with respect to flavor. Recommend about 4-6 pearls for two brews. But that's an opinion.

★★★★☆

Very very mild and light on the first steeping and not very aromatic. This is probably the result of the pearl not fully unfurling and the resulting flavor seems to be just as bland. There is a light buttery flavor that can be detected towards the end of the first cup but its not very pronounced. On a bright note it is not astringent. The second steeping has improved aromatic qualities which consist of a light woody scent and this carries over to the improved flavor. One pearl is portioned to make 2 cups and I brew one cup at a time, it is a much better tea the second steep. I would recommend experimenting with a longer steep although astringency would be a concern over 4 minutes. Do not give up on this tea until you have made a second steep.

This tea is very light-the liquor is light, as well as the taste. I like a slightly heavier green tea flavor-I just found this one to be too mild. It does have a slightly sweet foral taste, along with a light vegetal finish. Not crazy about it-but its ok.

This isn't my favorite, but it's a decent green tea. Watching the pearls break up is cool, but it would probably steep better if it was not in pearl form. If you're shopping greens, you should give this a go.

★★★★★

I LOVE this delicious light Smokey green pearl tea.

I've heard so many good thing about the pearls and I was so pleasantly surprised with these. The flavor was great! I love green tea and the mixture just blended together perfectly. The kind of tea you want to share with others, but also want to hoard all to yourself.

I've always been a big fan of the Black Dragon Pearls, so I figured I'd try out the green as well. I don't quite feel the same appreciation for the green, but it is still a decent green tea.

★★★★☆

I'm a fan of pearl-shaped teas, as it's a kind of meditative experience watching them unfurl in the brewing. And each brew's flavors unfurl along with the leaves. This tea isn't very distinctive, but it's smooth, non-astringent, and nutty-sweet.

★★★☆☆

Learning to enjoy green tea for the anti-inflammatory benefits. ... the flavor of this tea was mild and drinkable. My husband is a green tea drinker and he prefered this greatly to the jasmine dragon pearls, with just a bit of rock sugar.

★★★★☆

I really like how easy it is to measure out this tea - just take out a couple of pearls and voila! Sweet with a fresh finish.

★★★★★

This is possibly the best green tea I've ever had. I am not a huge fan of green tea despite the health benefits it has, but this is good. I even threw in some lemon grass with one cup and THAT was fabulous. Will order more.

★★★☆☆

Did not love. Some kind of aftertaste I don't prefer.

★★★★☆

I'm not a big green tea fan, so my review should be taken with a spoonful of salt. This tea is a little mild, but not astringent at all. It's very smooth, and a little floral. Watching the pearls expand is a lot of fun, and one pearl is enough for one cup, so there's no need to measure out the tea.

Pearl teas are a delightful treat on a cold winter day. That being said, this is not a strong green tea. Soft and mild, for all of its visual beauty, it is quite understated.

★★★★★

This a great tasting green tea! Watching the pearls unfurl was therapeutic alone. I am definitely going to be using this to get my daily green tea intake. :)

★★★★★

Just received my sample of the Green Dragon Pearls. They rank right up there with my fav the Black Dragon Pearls. I now have a green tea the I like!

This tea is a delicious green tea blend that I really enjoy. Very smooth and delicate flavor.

★★★★★

Dang these pearls are huge! My jasmine pearls are wee little babies compared to these!
Why do all these teas smell like dust and attics to me though. Not much of an old book smell, but definitely the smell of an antique shop hhaha.
Steeping, it takes on a grassier scent. But the taste! Oh so so good! Love this tea so much. I think just a single pearl would do me just nicely, enough for two cups of tea. Definitely one that I'll have to keep restocking when I near the end of my pouch

★★★★★

This tea steeps up light and clear. It is smooth and delicious with a decent caffeine kick to boot. Dare I say, it borders on the sublime.

I used one pearl in a 2 1/4 cup teapot with a basket. The first steeping was 3 min and the second steeping was about 5 min. The second steeping produced more color and flavor, but also the slightest bit of an aftertaste. It was still pretty smooth, but I will probably only steep for 4 min next time on the 2nd steep.

This is a wonderful tea and I recommend it. The pearls, 3/4 inch spheres, need room to unfurl, which is interesting to see. After the first steep, the ball seemed like it would blossom more and it did during the 2nd steep. The pearl form makes them so convenient to measure out and easy to take along.

Green Dragon Pearls are fun and make great quality tea. Get some for your friends, too!

Black dragon pearls are my favorite, but nonetheless still a decent one.

★★★★★

A nice tea when I feel like having something special for myself. I now have to update this to great. The more I drink it the more I like it. It really grows on you.

I guess I'm not one for primarily green tea flavor.

★★★★☆

There's something about pearl teas. I always love them. Jasmine pearls, black dragon pearls, anything pearls. This one isn't my favorite, but it's good. The first infusion is delicate and floral as the tea unfurls. the second is stronger but still light and refreshing.

The blooming quality of the pearls makes this a fun gift, and these are huge! Much bigger than the black tea pearls. To me it had almost black tea qualities in a green tea. Has an odd sweet aftertaste, which I did not like. I don't know if that's because it's finicky, and I can't brew it properly--or if it's really supposed to have an ipecac syrup aftertaste. Either way, it's tough for me to recommend. On the other hand, I was able to resteep this tea for 2 days! It never got to a point where I felt it was 'done.' It tasted pretty good with honey.

★★★★★

I love putting these in a glass teapot and watching them unfurl.

There's nothing more fun to me than watching the pearls unfurl in the steeper. This tea is a delicious green tea blend that I thoroughly enjoy.

These are great! I would use 1-3 depending on the cup-pot size. Again with these fired Chinese greens, you don't want to over=steep or use too hot of water. The first steep I do at 175 F for 2 minutes to let the pearls open up. Then, each additional steep goes for 1 minute to keep the flavor light and clean. These will taste smoky-sweet, almost like you are drinking cotton candy.

It's so smooth, I absolutely love it. It's not super grassy and the color is gorgeous.

Although I am not a huge fan of green teas this was surprisingly good. I received it as a free sample and of course pearls are always fun to brew.

Easy to use and tastes great. This has become one of my new favorites. Plus pearls can be reused until. They've completely unfurled.

These take a while to unfurl, a bit longer than the expect 2-3 minute steeping time for most green teas.
Smooth finish, a bit lighter than gunpowder green.

Wow those pearls are enormous and it only takes one to make a good cup of tea but I put two to make it stronger. It's a light tasting tea with vibrant kick if you let it sit and the longer you let it sit, the better for this tea. The big pearls are knotted up really tight.

very good green tea. if you like the black dragon pearls and want a green tea to match, this is it!

★★★☆☆

The tea is rather mild and sweet. For someone who brews tea almost exclusively in single-serve mugs, these pearls are a bit inconvenient.

★★★★☆

very smooth and smokey without being too overbearing. blends well with fruity black tea

★★★★☆

A nice nutty flavor. Mild grassy aftertaste. I was able to get multiple infusions from the pearls. Ideal for taking to work. Three pearls used together will give you about three cups of tea depending on how long you seep. I do believe I will order again, the convenience factor alone makes this a winner for a green tea.

As fun to watch as it is to drink. Not the best green tea, but makes an impression on guests.

★★★★☆

Good green tea. It is very easy to measure when you are getting ready quickly.

★★★★★

It's delicate yet complex flavors makes it my favorite tea.
