A very lovely green tea. There are subtle nutty nuances that make it more interesting.
Pleasant but the life-changer that black dragon pearls are. Large size makes knowing how many to brew a little awkward.
This is a nice blend. The pearls have quite a few broken leaves.
this tea has a nice earthy flavor that isn't overpowering. i use one pearl per cup
each pearl is about 3/4' in size and it's fun to watch them slowly open and break into the individuals leaves. The taste is pleasant and light.
My first pearl tea and I absolutely love this one. It has a nice smooth flavor and just a hint of sweetness. I steep one pearl at least twice in my ingenuiTEA (16oz) and get at least two strong infusions and a third somewhat lighter but still delicious infusion. Definitely will be a regular!

I got this as a free sample. I am not much for green tea, but it was refreshing, and had no bitterness at all. One of the better green teas I have tasted, but not hearty enough to have me switch over from my Black teas, or Rooibos at night.
It's a little more earthy than most green teas that I've had before.
Delicious! Very smooth, not bitter. You get the very light fish-y flavor but not overwhelming at all.
Great for my 24 oz Contigo travel cup with tea infuser.

The reviews had me kind of interested in trying this, as did my newfound appreciation for green teas. Sadly, I wasn't all too impressed with it. It's not a bad tea- it's just too similar to a lot of the boxed green teas I've had, and the majority of the 'flavored' green teas here (that seem to be only scented rather than flavored for some reason?).
A truly delicious green tea. Slightly smokey but still light and a pleasure to drink. This one can be steeped multiple times, making it a great tea to brew in the morning and then drink all day long

This flavor is very light and delicate, not grassy. Adding a touch of sugar really brings out the natural sweetness. Watching the pearls unfurl is an added bonus.

not as pungent as the black dragon pearls, which are a definite favorite, but it's still really good. there's a nice crisp dry note at the end that would be great with some shortbread cookies...
As many others have stated in their review, it takes a while for the pearl to open up and several people reported they had to steep longer to get a decent flavor. I followed their lead and found the tea to still be too weak and the longer steep made it bitter. I probably won't reorder but it was fun to try!

I ordered the same size since I wasn't entirely sure if I would love this tea and I will definitely be ordering a lot more. It still has some nice, green tea flavor, subtle grassy tones but it's nothing too overpowering. My only problem is that I wish the sample had just a tad more.

Don't know what all the hype is about. The flavor is much too subtle for my tastes, even after trying a number of brewing times with various numbers of pearls. Just OK in my book.

Incredibly smooth, slightly smoky, slightly vegetal. Does not need to be sweetened at all to be a super enjoyable cup.

I'm a big fan of green tea but this one fell a little short. While I am enjoying my sample, I wish it was a bit more flavorful. It's a nice light green tea and a good starter green if you're looking to give one a try.

It had a sort of dry chocolatey scent in the bag, and very light tea in the cup with a dry finish.
I originally steeped this the 3 minutes according to adagio instructions .That left me with a hot water with a slight grassy aroma. So my second go at it I left it to steep an additional minute. Turned out much better. The flavor is a very mild grassy/semi sweet familiar green tea flavor. I can't emphasize the word mild enough. If you are looking for a light green tea that goes down smooth , look no further . Otherwise I'd stay clear of this dragon pearl.

I love the pearl teas, and I have an ingenuiTEA so I was able to watch this tea unfurl. It has a mild grassy taste to it but it is not overpowering and the finish is nice.I would definitely order this again.

This is by far my favorite Green. I will on occasion mix this with some decaf blueberry.
I loved this green. It was easy to measure, fun to watch, and the astringency felt just right if not over-steeped. A very slight nuttiness to it which I prefer to the more vegetal taste of some greens.

Simple and refreshing. It's a very mild green tea. The pearls are delightful, and are fun to watch unfurl. The flavor is gentle and basic. Tastes even better with a few white sugar crystal in it!
Eh it's ok. Not my favorite. Pretty bland compared to the other teas I ordered. It is also expensive for what you get. I will drink what I ordered but probably will not order again.
I'm new to green tea and was searching for a basic green tea when I picked this up. The reviews stating it had a nutty flavor is what got me. I used one ball in my ingenuiTea and steeped it for double if not more than the recommended three minutes and was happy with the flavor. I felt it was too weak at three minutes. I enjoyed these enough to buy on a regular basis.
This one was silk! it was smooth but had just enough astringency to keep it interesting.
I had trouble getting a lot of flavor out of the pearls. What I did taste was a really nice middle-of-the-road green tea, neither too grassy nor too smokey. It was a good taste, just not strong enough. It was stronger the first time I tried it, and I actually brewed it hotter than the recommended temperature, so maybe I'll try that and see how it goes? If it improves significantly, I'll update my review to reflect that.
