Got this as a free sample, what a surprise!! A nice treat for me, nice quality, good flavor. I'm not much of a green tea fan myself, but it's pleasant.

★★★★★

These are excellent, and easy to use. I like the flavor and ease of use. Drop them in the pot and that's it.

I keep these in my purse all the time! They're perfect to take out when green tea isn't available. Great green flavor - smooth, heavy green, can easily be made milder or stronger.

★★★★★

asolutely delicious. I love watching the pearls unfold. Sweet taste and amazing iced!

Continuing on in the 'My son is fascinated with pearl teas' vein, we have green dragon pearls.
They are large, so I used a single pearl in both my Ceramic teapot, and the large glass mug I use so my son can see it unfurl.
It took about ten minutes to start opening up, and about 15 minutes before it was mostly open. The scent was rich and green, not at all grassy...unlike the taste. I tempered it with a pinch of peppermint leaves to balance it out, and was rewarded with a refreshing afternoon tea that needed no sweetener.
I shall have to play with the brew times, because...
remember the ceramic pot? I forgot it again, and I'm unsure how long it was steeping. This was rich, sweet, almost nutty, and not bitter or oily as some forgotten teas can get, nor grassy as the first batch. We liked this better, as we could try it as intended.

I will be getting more, now that I know how wonderful it is. I only wish it came in tins instead of bags.

An exceptional pearl for the price. They were the perfect size for simple on the go brewing, simply one (or two, depending on your taste) per 16 oz. Nice grassy flavors to start, and a great earthy aftertaste with a slightly sweet finish. Honestly, no complaints with this tea. I can see this tea becoming one of my normal afternoon pick-me-up cups. I don't recommend sugar with this, as it has a nice natural sweetness. You can brew these pearls 2-4 times. A great tea, will be buying again soon for sure. Enjoy!

Best green tea I have ever had. Strong and great flavor!

Not for me. Maybe I brewed it incorrectly but it was way too bitter for my taste.

Green Dragon Pearls are so fun to use and so tasty to drink. The cool part it that these pearls are so big its totally easy to get 2-3 more infusions out of it. I actually steep my first infusion for about 4 minutes as I like a slightly stronger cup. But it stays totally mild and even a tiny bit sweet. Tea pearls are also quite handy to bring to work or on the road.

A good clean green tea. The pearls are my favorite versus loose tea.

First two times brewed according to recommended. Didn't have a lot of flavor nor did the leaves completely unfurl - not a good sign. Not really grassy or nutty or sweet or...no real flavor profile. Hmmm... But correct brewing is essential as others have noted. So since three's-the-charm, I treated it like a rolled oolong: boiling water over it, then quickly poured it off. Waited until the water was at 200*, then poured it over to brew. Let steep 5 min - WOW! what a difference!
The flavor is still very light but the sweetness surfaced, as did a bit of grassy notes but NO astringency - nice! I like a bit more 'vegetal' notes to my green tea but so glad I tried again.I can take these to work and not have to fuss too much with preparation - just leave the leaves at the bottom and sip from the top.

Great! Stayed together in shape, and tasted wonderful.

★★★★★

I had the good fortune to need tea during a special free sample of all the tea pearls. I never expected to love the green tea pearl. I do not care for most green teas, preferring black tea. This green tea is the mild, not grassy, calming. I immediately ordered this tea because I know I will make it all winter.
Steep longer than recommended - does not become bitter or grassy.

★★★★★

Wonderful green tea - light, mild and will purchase again.

★★★★★

This is serious green tea. Make it right, according to temp directions. Great.

★★★★★

This is a really great pearl for travel and a quick cup. One piece is easy to brew and steep. The resulting tea is smooth and rich, with a flavor that appeals to most everyone.

★★★★★

Very good! Just a nice cup of good old green tea. Good without sweetener!

★★★☆☆

I thought they would be smaller so I could make just one cup. Do they come in a smaller size?

★★★★★

This was another great tea. I shared this with my niece whom I'm turning into a tea lover. This one of the variety packs I gave her for her birthday along with some tins to keep her tea in.

★★★★☆

Pretty good - it's cool to watch the pearls unfurl, and it holds up to more than one steeping.

★★★★★

This is one of my post favorite green teas outhere.

★★★★☆

Great to clean out your system, nice light flavor.

★★★★★

Refreshing! Flowery, light, tasty! I love all the 'ball' tea I've tried so far!

★★★☆☆

It was a little too bland for me, but fun to watch the pearls unfurl.

★★★☆☆

The look of this tea is really interesting. I didn't expect the pearls to be so large. I'm not sure if I didn't steep the tea long enough but it was so so light in taste there was barely any taste at all.

I came across this one by accident and i'm glad I found it! It's very reminiscent of 'Sleeping Dragon' but it's still pretty cheeky. Definitely worth a try

★★★★☆

Rather one dimensional really. Just green and seaweed like. Quite fun to watch brew though. Probably won't buy it again, but I do like it. Just not enough.

★★★★★

Love this green tea. Very smooth and tasteful. My favorite

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite teas from Adagio. I use one pearl to make two cups and brew for about seven minutes and it's the perfect two cups for me with the perfect amount of flavor. This will be a regular in my tea stash!

★★★★★

When first making it, I was a bit dubious - the scent was VERY strong, very grassy. But upon trying, I thought it was perfectly balanced and subtle without being bland. Perhaps my favorite green tea thus far.

★★★★★

These are serious. They present beautifully and are nice to serve to friends. Serving this tea makes me feel elegant and knowledgeable. Also - excellent taste.

★★★★★

Before ordering tea from Adagio, I didn't think I was that big of a fan of green teas. To me they didn't have a lot of flavor. But after trying some higher quality green teas (although I can't exactly afford the masters yet), I've found that I do like green tea. Good green tea. And this is definitely one of those. Wonderful flavor, and the little pearls are really fun to watch. I use 2 pearls for 16 oz of water, but others could probably do with quite a bit less - I like rich black teas in general (pu erh is my fave) and a lot of flavor in my cup.

This was a surprisingly sweet tea. It's very mellow, and has little of the grassiness that puts a lot of people off of green tea. It's also a lot of fun to watch the pearl unfurl. I let it steep for about a minute longer than recommended, until the pearl unfurled completely. The flavor was just as good on the second brew.

★★★☆☆

I guess I'm just not gaga about straight greens. Must be a matter of taste. I found this kind of flat and a bit too grassy.

4 min steep · 200°F

★★★★☆

Unique shaped pearls, but the tea itself was nothing too great. The tea was acceptable, but I would not order it again.

★★★★☆

A nice and delicate green tea. The taste is very mild, especially for the first steep. I increased the water temperature slightly above the recommended temp for the first brew and steeped it for about 5 minutes. Because the pearls are packed so tight, it takes a little longer to get them going. The second brew tasted just as good at the recommended time and temp.

★★★☆☆

Wasn't as good as expected (especially because of the price), but it's drinkable. Can't really take it out so it gets bitter.

★★★★★

Mild-flavored green tea. One tea ball is the perfect size for my 15oz pot.

★★★★☆

Larger pearls tend to open more slowly if water is not hot enough creates a fine line with over steeping. The flavor is wonderful seems to have a slight sweetness

★★★★★

This is a nice standard use tea. A must have-on-hand.

★★★★☆

I have to admit that I bought this for the appeal of watching the pearls open with my niece. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a good green tea that I like to add a little peppermint to in the afternoons.

★★★★★

A very good, light and delicious tea. It made a nice iced tea.

★★★☆☆

these are HUGE pearls that pack quite the punch, a little to aggressive for my taste.

★★★★★

This tea does not have a strong odor, but it has a smooth taste and great creamy aftertaste, almsot like a soft jasmine.

★★★★☆

These pearls are Huge I was amazed how big they were lol. I would recomend them to somebody that made 24 oz of tea at a time I just make 12 oz at a time so they are too big for me but great strong green tea.

★★★★★

This is a very good green tea. Typically I only drink black teas but I would consider buying this again because it is high quality and flavorful.

★★★★★

pretty damn good Green Tea. my favorites of the greens.

★★★★★

These are amazing, I mixed one of these with a small scoop of one of my tropical pina colada teas, and a little bit of white tea leaves and some amber sugar rocks and so far it's my all time favorite. It's sweet, but has a small fruity taste and is so great iced.

The dragon pearl by itself is still really good! I just always love to mix and match flavors!
