These pearls are really big, about the size of a nickel. 'Green Dragon Balls' might have been a more apt name, though certainly less attractive.

This is a fairly mild green with peach and sugarcane flavors as well as a touch of smokiness. They don't seem especially fresh though, which is a big deal for me with green teas.

Not bad. Pales in comparison to the Black Dragon variety...

This is very smooth and light. I'm a little disappointed that the tea doesn't unfurl as much as I would expect it to. The flavor ends up a little bit weak.

This is a nice tea. I think I like the black dragon pearls better but this tea is full bodied with slight floral undertones and is very relaxing.

I used this tea for a pain remedy with ginger, and it just didn't stand up to it. The tea lacks any defining flavor. It probably won't stand up on its own either. It's unremarkable.

Warm spinach juice is all I can say. It may be better iced, but I wouldnt count on it

convenient pearls great to put in my 2 cup mug, light color, nice mid range green tea, balanced flavor. none of the after taste that some of the lower quality greens have

Although not my favorite, it is a good green tea. The balls make for a great cup on the go!

★★★★★

The flavor is distinctive enough to make it stand apart from other green teas, and it's fun-sized. Pretty good!

The green dragon pearls stand up to multiple steeping. With each cup, you will discover subtle nuances in flavor. It is truly a 'tea of travel' - it is easy to take with you on the road (due to its ball size) and offers a journey for your taste buds with each and every cup.

The pearls don't seem to completely unfurl if I just let them sit undisturbed for 3 minutes. This doesn't affect the tea's taste. This one is fairly unique among green teas. Earthy without being too grassy. I would probably use them for friends who are borderline about green as a conversation piece.

This tea is very smooth, and easy to decide how much to use for each pot. I enjoy the larger rolled teas (like the Black Dragon Pearls) because it's very easy to get the same amount of tea for each time you brew. This is a massive ball though, and it generally doesn't completely unroll on the first brewing. Some people seem to brew for 5-7 minutes to get it to completely unroll, but for me it seems to over-steep at that point and becomes bitter. It seems to me that around 4 minutes is kind of the limit for steeping this tea, but of course everyone has their own tastes.

The tea taste was good however the pearls didn't unfurl with the first brewing. I had to manually separate...disappointing in that regard.

I enjoy the taste of Adagio green dragon pearls. The tea tastes very smooth. Tea is easy to make. No measuring. I use one pearl for two cups of tea and I double-steep. Will buy this tea again.

These make a really nice smooth/mellow slighty nutty or buttery tea. I have to clarify though. On a previous attempt, I tried recommended temp and time. The pearls only half unfurled and the tea was very weak. I did 2nd infusion, at 212 for 5 min, and was a lot better. I can only have just so much tea in a day so usually I can't do that. This time I did 7 min and 212 and was very pleased with the results.

I wanted these to be amazing but where was the flavor? There was none. Proper temps and steep times gave me a cup that tasted a whole lot like my filtered water and not much else. Honestly, 3 minutes of steeping doesn't seem half as long as it needs to be. The pearls couldn't really unfold at all and still were in essentially the same clumps they were before brewing. Very disappointed in these things. Especially after every other pearl tea from Adagio I've tried was so awesome.

This tea seems like a workhorse for the green variety. With a buttery/vegetal scent, the aroma is pleasent and the aftertaste matches, tending to buttered asparagus. The pearls are always interesting to watch, and the second steeping often reveals more flavors. There is a hint of smokiness when the tea is in your mouth, though it is fleeting after a few moments. I think it adds a nice layer of complexity to the tea, and I am always happy to have that in a dragon pearl. Overall the tea is not one of my favorite greens, but its an excellent choice if you need to take tea on the go with minimal accomodations/space. It certainly didn't disappoint, it was just a middle of the road cup. sturdy, grounded and consistent.

I like the flavor, but it seemed like I needed to put in twice the normal amount of tea at the recommended temp and time to get it. I chalk that up to the size of the pearls and how tightly packed they are. With one pearl, which equates to the normal 1 teaspoon, it was slightly flavored water.

Not the best green tea in the world, but certainly worth the price. Grassy and earthy, with a little smoky undertone.

This tea has a very light taste that reminds me more of white tea then green. Looks cool though as it steeps and breaks apart.

This tea was fairly tasty and comes as a nice novelty. I always loved ''pearl'' teas (black dragon pearls, jasmine pearls to name a few) and these quite surprised me.They taste like a nice middle-ground green tea. I got hints mild grass flavor, but a nice soft nutty sweetness at the end. Also, being as this tea comes in pearls, you can resteep it. I got 3-4 steeps out of 2 pearls, you may be able to push it to 5. Overall, a nice green tea and I will be ordering more of it in the future.
