Very Strange, but good. I could totally taste the rice. So unique..A hunger quencher.

The mild roasted flavor of this tea is delicious, and is wonderful to drink with a meal.

This is my favorite of all Adagio teas. At first I was a little thrown by the popcorn and rice, but they add such a unique, exquisite taste. This tea is excellent. Not too strong and very smooth. I'd love to see this offered in tea bags again. (Hint! Hint!)

Pleasantly tasty! This tea has a very noticable popcorn/popped rice taste to it that is quite good. A nice alternative to drinking un-flavored green.

I really can't make up my mind if I like this one or not. I can't drink more than a cup at a time. It has a very nutty, grain-like flavor.

perhaps my favourite tea of all. i was surprised by how much i loved genmai cha when i first tried it but 'popcorn tea' has become a staple tea in our household.

I think that this may be my favorite green. The popped rice and corn really give the tea a new dimension and make it destinct, with an interesting aroma. Definitely going to order more.

My son and I go to a Japanese restaurant that serves this kind of tea. He prefers this version he says it tastes better. I have to agree.

My favorite everyday tea. I love the toasted grain smell of the rice and corn, plus the light taste the grains add.

Lots of fun with the popcorn bits and a very nice, nutty flavor. I love green teas, and the nutty flavor of this one is unique and delightful.

Genmai cha is my favorite tea by far, and adagio makes an especially good one. Recently I ran out and had to get an emergency supply at a local store -- I couldn't bear to drink it because the aroma was so lackluster and the taste was just... icky! Needless to say, I will never let myself run out of adagio genmai cha again.

This is such a fun tea! I just love the look of the little baby popcorns in the loose tea. Great taste as well with kind of a nutty flavor to it.

I love the smooth, nutty, popcorn-like flavor of this tea. I was disappointed to only be able to order more sample tins. I'm looking forward to getting a large container when it's back in stock.

Its a nice tea to drink inbetween meals, its very settling to the stomach.

Decent aroma, but the only flavor characteristic that I noticed was bitterness. This is not how genmai cha is supposed to taste.

Our local Japanese restaurant serves genmai cha as their green tea. I've always liked the slight shredded-wheat taste it has to it. I've tried genmai cha from a few companies, and Adagio's is the best.

My husband was so surprised to see this tea on our shelf. He was stationed in Japan for four years and remembers drinking this tea.

I love the popped rice flavor in this tea! I prefer to brew it for 2 minutes instead of the suggested 3 for a smooth taste.

Not my favorite green tea. The rice flavor and popcorn aroma was enjoyable, but I wouldn?t drink this on a daily basis.

When brewed it really does smell like fresh popped popcorn, light tasting. a very unique tea.

It's pretty weird, but for some reason I like it. It's fun to watch it brew, because the rice, popcorn, and tea leaves all seem to float at different levels.

A thirst-quenching delight! It has the usual fragrant of Japanese green tea but gentler and the popped rice and popcorn seemed to set off the aroma even more.

This isn't the green tea for everyone, but I love this stuff. The toasted rice flavor is an especially nice foil for the sweetness of green tea ice cream. Yum.

Genmai Cha's roasted-rice flavor makes it excellent with a meal, especially a salad or other vegetables. Do not deprive yourself of this tea!

This tea has an 'interesting' flavor. Really does taste like rice. Not what you would expect from tea but it is good.

I love genmai. Unlike some varieties, Adagio's has plenty of rice in it, which is my favorite component.

Liquid popcorn. A very interesting blend, though. Evokes a bit of nostalgia when you sniff it while sipping.

Very good. I had tried a tea years agho that was black tea with puffed rice (no popcorn). I was looking for something similar when I stumbled upon this. Although different, it still has that nutty flavor that I enjoyed in the other one. This makes a nice afternoon tea.

What an interesting combo of flavors. I love the smell, taste and aftertaste of this tea. It is rather different though, so take caution before buying up the block. It makes an EXCELLENT iced tea as well.

The tea bags are so innovative! No more fishing out my teabags. There is a nice balance between green tea and the popped rice and corn. Wonderful hot tea. Be careful not to overbrew or it turns bitter.
