This is a great green tea, very earthy and delicious.
One of China's most famous teas, from Hangzhou in Zhejiang province. Distinctive flattened leaf shape gives the tea an inviting, toasty aroma. Sweet rounded flavor, like freshly roasted white corn. Nutty, buttery texture, pleasantly dry finish.

This is a great green tea, very earthy and delicious.
Absolutely love this tea! I wish I would have bought a larger bag! Has a great green flavor and its so delicious!
This is a wonderful tea. This was my first time trying dragonwell and I love the pleasant taste and aroma.
This is the best of the green teas I've sampled in my new foray into the tea world. It's my go-to 'everyday' green tea now.
I'm really happy with this tea. It's very subtle but it grows on you, cup by cup. I felt mellow and relaxed, like a after a good meal at my favorite sushi place.
Wasnt a big fan of this tea. Didnt have much of a ditinctive taste at all.
This one is awesome for the money very strong tea. A great tea for the green tea lover who likes strong green tea and drinks it a lot cause it's cheap enough. But just because it don't cost as much as some of the others doesn't mean it's a cheap tea.
People LOVE this tea! We go through it very quickly and is our favorite green tea.
This dragonwell is a great green tea this is perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
One of my favorite teas right now. I find myself reaching for this tea most afternoons.
A very good quality green tea. Brewed at the recommended 180 degree temp, this tea delivers a very satisfying taste experience.
I love the grassy taste of the dragonwell my sister in laws favorite
It is beautiful yellow tea. You should just use a little bit more tea then usual, and steep a little bit longer to extract more goodies from this tea.
I've been to dragonwell so I think I would know. I'm also a ghost writer.
I Love this tea. Great flavor. Looking forward to ordering again.
Supposed to steep for 2 minutes. I accidentally steeped for 3 and it was very bitter. Next time, I steeped for 2 minutes and it's not quite as bitter but it's still a little bitter. I do not enjoy the taste of this tea.
I very much enjoyed this tea, it hits all the notes of a good green tea and has no bitterness, I was doing a quick brew for about 2 minutes @ 180
Excellent. We visited Dragonwell in China a couple years ago. This is definitely their best tea, just like we had there.
This Tea is great as a accent tea. I love mixing Dragonwell and White Monkey with a touch of Genmai Cha. I love all Teas, there isn't really one I don't like. I always find a way to mix them a come up with good blends. This Dragonwell is the one that I find mixes well with a lot of the Blends I have mixed and tried. Over all one of my favorite accent teas.
This is really nice. I think it tastes great when blended with a citric flavored tea, like grapefruit or orange.
I love the flavor of this nutty green tea. I find it flavorful, soothing, and relaxing.
This tea was pretty good. Had a definite undertone of corn, which I wasn't expecting but really came to life with some honey. I'd probably steep this a bit hotter than recommended to really draw out the flavors.
Mellow, refreshing, smooth, a bit on the light side, but delicious
It's simply a great green tea, not very grassy, and the nutty notes round it out nicely
My third favorite for the green teas so far. Very enjoyable,
I need to buy more of this. Love the sweet tones and aftertastes.
Very interesting and a slight veggie/grassy smooth taste. This tea is perfect for green tea beginners.
This was recommended by one of my friends. It's good.
This is my new favorite green tea. Wonderful flavor on its own. A little honey brings out subtle citrus flavors as well.
Best green table available on this site. Tastes like grass but in a good way.
Don't love the smell (a bit musty, really), but this tea brews up absolutely beautifully and is a great green tea.
The tea is very good and one that we experienced on a trip to China. It is not a tea, in my opinion, that you can steep too long or it acquires a bitter taste.
This tea was recently purchased after tasting it in a store, not expecting to like it, and then loving it! Has a mellow, rich flavor that is wonderful.
My husband has declared it the second-best green tea he's ever had (second only to Kukicha). He loves how very green it tastes.
Not my favorite, too earthy for me. But doable in an emergency.
A fantastic green tea with great flavor. I did not like it mixed but stood alone just fine. I had mine with a little honey.
This is our favorite afternoon tea. It has a light, pleasant flavor that is not overbearing.
I enjoyed my sample pack of Dragonwell green. To me it was a good, basic green tea. There are others such as jasmine green pearls that I enjoy more though.
A good tea either hot or iced. I have ordered it several times.
Grassy and restorative. Be careful not to oversteep, though!
This is one of my favorite teas. It is mild and neutral enough to drink every day but not so mild it doesn't have a good taste. There are other teas I like but that have a stronger taste so I have to be in the mood for them. This is a tea I can always drink.
I tasted my first cup of Dragonwell tea one misty September morning in Hangzhou, China. After purchasing the highest 'Emperor' grade leaves from a tea plantation in China two years ago, I found myself on a quest to discover a similar quality 'Long Jing' tea available in the States. This tea has remarkable qualities, and produces a very noticeable series of mental and physical effects, quite unique to its specific chemistry. The Adagio Dragonwell is very similar, and produces the same physiological effects as the 'real thing' purchased from a plantation in China. However, I have not been able to determine what grade of Dragonwell this particular offering is supposed to be, though the leaf uniformity and taste suggest one of the highest tiers. In any case, I love to nibble on the dry tea leaves, a habit which actually has some very real benefits. The most pronounced benefit of Dragonwell tea - aside from its intense, yet non-jittery 'upper' effect - is its ability to regulate digestive distress of many different kinds, and cure virtually any form of stomachache. Watch out for high doses, as they may produce a strange, yet not always unpleasant 'tea drunk' feeling! Infuse multiple times, and always eat your tea leaves to get the most benefits from this beautiful green masterpiece! You can also add this tea to cool water, and allow it to slowly infuse during the day in a water bottle. This practice kept me ready for anything during my trip - and helps me stay awake and hydrated all day long! I think the grade is a bit lower than what I am used to, so I cannot give this one a perfect score, due to ambiguous labelling.
One of my all-time favorite green teas. Sometimes it goes by other names, but whatever you call it, this earthy, roasted green tea is great early in the day to get you going and connect you to the earth.
Very pleasant green tea. I can't give it a 'great' review as it doesn't have that intangible special quality. It, however, very easily falls in the 'good' category.
This tea was pretty good. My wife was a big fan, but it came off a little grassy to me.
A truly amazing tea! It has a very subtle flavor that's perfect with a bit of honey. Definitely one of my favorite green teas.
This is a grassy tea, but not overwhelmingly so. Not my cup of tea. I'll finish the sample and may try it again in the future but it is not a favorite or on my go to list for teas at the moment. A mellow flavor, which is great.
A decent green tea, but I've had better. I think I prefer Japanese greens more, or just greens that are more sweet or grassy than this.
LOVE it! It's smooth, just smoky enough without being too dry, and not overly acidic. Its aroma is comforting.
Really, really nice! Never bitter, and forgiving to water temperature. This is my favorite green tea.
