This tea delivered exactly what the name says: chocolate and mint. The aroma and the taste are exactly that. I felt like I was drinking a tea version of a peppermint patty and those are one of my favorite treats. Definitely going to order some!

The more I try green teas the more I am enjoying them the mint is great and the chocolate gives it a great dimension. I would enjoy drinking this again.

Not a fan of the Choco-Mint. In the packet, I smelled a mish-mash of mint and decay. Not a good combo. After brewing, it improved somewhat, but as much as I love a good mint tea, this one just didn't do it.

Updated review: The last time I steeped this, it had very little mint flavor, and I thought it was just okay. This time around, I steeped at a lower temperature, and all the flavors were nicely balanced! I don't personally love the combination of chocolate and green tea, but if you do, you'll really like this one.

Very nice tea! Smooth mint chocolate flavors are subtle behind vegetal green tea flavors. I prefer strong chocolate flavors in teas like this, so it was a bit mild for my taste.

CommuniTEA Review:
Was kinda excited for this tea, since I like all the main ingredients (Chocolate, mint, and Green tea). When I open the packet I smelled aroma of chocolate and mint. When brewed it had the same aroma and very light green color. When I initially tasted it I didn't taste anything. I waited for it cool abit then I tasted a mix of green tea and chocolate yet some how it didn't taste right to me. It not for me.

I like this a lot. The mint is not too strong and blends well with the chocolate. Still get trace tastes of green tea as well.

Today's CommuniTEA is Cocomint Green (10-18-22). Upon opening my packet, I had a fantastic amount of tea, and I'm pretty sure the peppermint flavor was infused in, but I seemed to be lacking cocoa nibs. As a result, I added my own as well as some chocolate honey and brewed it hot. It was positively delicious! Perfectly minty and chocolatey. I could've sworn I've had this tea before and I believe it was last year in the advent calendar. I really love this tea and highly recommend it!

This Cocomint Green offers a well-balanced twist on chocolate-mint combination. The mint softly complements the green tea well, and the subtle chocolate notes give the tea depth and a smooth - almost rich - feeling in this light tea. If the excellent balance weren't enough, the flavors stand up to a second steep - always a plus! (3 minutes @ 175F)

This tea is a pleasant and mild blend of mint, green tea, and chocolate. I was wishing for more chocolate flavor in my cup, but all in all, this was really a nicely balanced cup of tea. I steeped at 175 degrees for 3 minutes with a little rock sugar.

In the bag: The long, medium-thickness, forest green leaves of the green tea are the main ingredient. A few chunky cocoa nibs poke out from the pile. A scattering of tiny peppermint flakes.
On the nose (pre-steep): Medium intensity. Rich chocolate and peppermint notes combine atop an underlying subtle, clean grassy scent.
On the nose (post-steep): Less intense. Chocolate is more prominent than it was on the nose. Peppermint is now in a supporting role. The grassy notes have come forward.
On the tongue: The clean, slightly sweet grassy flavor of the green tea is the prominent flavor. Hint of peppermint. I can't pick out the chocolate anymore. Slightly bitter.
Opinion: A fun blend. The chocolate and peppermint are a perfect pair, especially on the nose. They got lost on the way to the tongue, though. I also agree with other reviewers that the duo would be better supported by a black tea. Finally, I recommend pulling the steep at 2 minutes to avoid bitter notes.

The level of mint in this tea is perfect.
There is a hint chocolate flavor but not enough that I couldn't finish this cup. The strongest flavor is a creamy mint. (180F for 2min)

I wasn't sure that I would like this one, but thought I'd give it a go. I've enjoyed it very much. It seems to have the perfect mixture of green tea, cocoa nibs, and mint. None of the flavors overpower the others or get lost in the mix. Update 10/22: It's still really good. The green and cocoa nibs work together really well.

UPDATED from 12/21/21: Can you say “Delicious”? This is what I call the aroma that greets me as the CommuniTEA packet opens: mint and chocolate! Oh my, be still my heart! After steeping it is a pale yellow color, but there is no paleness in the aroma or taste: peppermint and chocolate! After adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 12 oz) the two flavors really step forward together, and suddenly there is a festival in my mouth, as they dance with abandon on the cool green grass. They leave my mouth feeling soft and creamy and the dark chocolate, still dancing on my tongue, lingers longer into the finish which is clean. It is delicious hot and remains tasty as it cools. I love Adagio’s Rooibos Cocomint, and have that as my “go to” tea, but now this fresh green version will become a staple in my cupboard as well. (2:30 mins @ 180ºF + sweetener).

Very nice green tea. The chocolate flavor is mild and not overpowering but the mint could be a bit stronger. This is a nice refreshing tea.

I never thought I'd like this- a base of green tea seemed like an odd choice. But it's got great flavor without being too heavy. I drink it straight, without any milk or sugar.

I first tried this flavor as part of the Advent calendar. I liked it so much I bought a bag of it. Chocolate and mint flavors go well together in this green tea blend.

A definitely interesting tea, I like having it as an option but it wouldn't be an all the time fav for me. Still, if you like green tea, mint, and chocolate, give it a try!

Who needs ice cream when this delicious blend exists?! This also doesn't require as many dishes either, and it's hot! Don't want cold on a cool night? Have a cup of this instead. YUM!

One of my absolute favorite teas right now. My boyfriend loves it too. He always brews it a second time because he thinks I waste it only brewing it once. Hahaha...anyway, I add a little cream to this tea and it's pure happiness! :)

I love mint teas, including Adagio’s Casablanca Mint, and this is another great mint tea to add to my collection! Mint is definitely the predominant flavor, but there’s a hint of chocolate and a grassy freshness from the green tea. Definitely worth a try if you like mint!

This is not the best chocolate/cocoa x mint blend that I have had (possibly because I prefer caffeine-free mint teas and this one uses moderately caffeinated green tea), but it is more affordable than my favorite chocolate mint tea brand and is good enough to satisfy my taste buds and cravings, so I would recommend and buy again.

This had a very well balanced combination of chocolate and mint but did not work for me with green tea. I can see that if you like that combination you might like this tea so I would recommend trying out a sample even if I was not a fan of it.

I’m not a big fan of green tea normally but I have really enjoyed this. The green tea is balanced with the mint and cocoa nib flavours to produce a nicely rounded cup. Tastes even better after it’s cooled a little to help the flavours round

The dry tea smells almost just like Andes mints. The liquor is an incredibly light blonde with a faint earthy straw scent with a hint of minty freshness. The cup is perfectly sweet and not at all astringent. It is smooth, warm, and earthy upfront with a dry minty finish. This is one of my new favorite teas and, unlike many other greens, I think it would be lovely with a light dessert.
