When I first tried this tea, it was amazing. I simply had to order more!! This is one of my favorites, and while I normally don't like teas like this, this one is a definite exception.
Chinese green tea with the delicate flavors of lemon and lime. An Adagio favorite, refreshing hot and iced.

When I first tried this tea, it was amazing. I simply had to order more!! This is one of my favorites, and while I normally don't like teas like this, this one is a definite exception.
This tea is below average for a citrus green. It was plain and boring. I did add some jasmine pearls to make it more enjoyable.
This tea for me is one of the teas I'm considering as a staple for my house. I really liked how smooth it was there was no bitterness to it but I feel like I could do better.
Love this tea. It great hot or iced. I buy it buy the pound. It make delicious iced tea...
Excellent citrus taste and texture. Fantastic aroma
Dry tea smells like citrus. The resulting cup is a golden green that smells like citrus. The tea is nicely balanced between the green tea base and the citrus flavors. As the tea cools, the citrus flavors become more prominent. This tastes like it would be delicious iced. Brewed for 3 minutes at 180.
Am I crazy when I say citron green tastes like vegetal Froot Loop juice? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, that's the impression I get!
This tea is so good! There's not alot of greens that I don't love. It's so refreshing and crisp!!! The flavor is so citrusey and good!!
A delicious and refreshing tea that tastes a little bit like fruity pebbles when you exhale after a sip. A great tea for someone new to teas!
This is a light, refreshing green tea. The citrus adds just the right notes of flavor. Would have loved to try chilled but drank my whole CommuniTea cup warm.
Hot or cold, this tea makes a refreshing beverage with a nice citrus twist. It does need sweetening, though, as the citrus comes through with some bitterness as if someone zested some of the pith and not just the peel into the tea. (That could have been the result of overbrewing slightly, of course.) Although it’s refreshing, the tea is not as clean-tasting as I would like it to be; sometimes, the flavor is reminiscent of bottled lemon juice. A healthy squirt of fresh lemon juice in some plain green tea would likely produce a more desired effect.
Tried as a CommuniTEA sample. I don't normally like green tea nor citrus flavors mixed with it. The green tea base was actually one I like since it's very light and didn't taste like spinach. I didn't care for the citrus though. It was very strong and artificial tasting to me until I added some sweetener which toned it down. Overall, this was just ok to me.
I liked it, but I wasn't crazy about it. Perhaps my sample sachet was short on citrus because the citrus notes were very much on the back burner of my cup. The green tea was great, and I enjoyed it hot with a bit of sugar but I think I would have loved it better iced.
Citron Green is one of the three pounds of tea that my cousin sent me— and I’m glad she did! ( She is nothing if not generous…).
This is my go- to for something light and citrusy. Especially nice for a light afternoon sip. One of my faves!
I’m not really picking up on the citrus notes in this one, but it’s still a nice cup of green tea
This tea was delicious and soothing to my stomach. The citrus was such a beautiful touch. Marrying the lemon and lime to the green tea was genius!! Definitely getting this one again!<3
I cold brewed this tea and was pleasantly surprised by the light lemon green tea flavor. I didn't get a grassy/bitter taste.
I've tried this tea a few different times and I've loved it every time. Wonderful citrus flavor. Just kept forgetting to leave a review. Tried it again with the CommuniTEA today.
I absolutely loved this citrusy green tea blend. It wasn't quite as perfectly delicious as the lemon meringue green tea (the addition of the cream flavor is awesome), but it was quite good. I enjoyed the mixture of orange and lemon as well as the sweetness that came with it. This one is definitely a winner, at least for me.
I love this green tea. This is the most forgiving green tea I think I’ve ever tried. I forgot my tea was steeping and it went for 6 minutes, not my usual 2. It was still delicious and light, not bitter, grassy, or vegetal. The citrus is there while hot but comes forward as it cools. This one is good hot or cold. If you are a fan of Lemon Meringue Green you should like this one too, the are very similar. This one is less sweet and more bright. Really good choice for someone new to green tea.
Smells amazing in the bag! Definitely more flavorful when cool and over ice.
A light citrus aroma emanated from the CommuniTEA packet. Steeping at 180°F for 3 minutes created a light golden yellow-green tea.
The citrus flavor is light and smooth with an ever so slight zesty bite to it near the end. This blends well with the green tea base which is also light and non-grassy. It's almost like a very light version of Dragonwell with a citrus lift. The citrus flavor does seem a bit light and dry when compared to fresh lemon or lime zest and juice. However, there is no tartness or sour flavor to be found here. This mild refreshing citrus green works well as an iced tea.
Great citrus taste, great green tea. It smooth and sweet.☕️
This was better iced. Hot, it only gets four stars, but iced, it just has more. Brighter flavor, stronger profile, closer to the description of the tea, better refreshing quality. Kudos to the blend though, that even hot, it doesn’t have that typical liquid grass flavor that can be so dominant in green!
This is a light, lovely, refreshing green tea, especially for those who try to avoid the grassy greens. My CommuniTEA packet smelled citrusy. I was able to brew once and chill and get a 2nd steep to enjoy hot. Both were delicious! Happy sipping!
Good smooth green tea, would have preferred more citrus flavor. I will try this in the future and have it iced as others have indicated it brings out more flavor.
Cold steeped, the green tea base is pleasant and mild, but the citrus flavor and ingredients taste a bit bitter and fake. I enjoyed the tea, but wouldn’t order.
Wonderful citrus aromas greet me as I open this communiTEA packet. The first steep I set aside to cool since I think this will make a good iced tea. 2nd steep I drink warm. I am pleasantly surprised by this tea since I am not a green tea fan. Citrus flavors are upfront and refreshing. No grassy, vegetable taste from the green tea. No astringency noted. Just a nice clean and smooth mouth feel with this one. Does not need sweetener, but I added a touch of honey and this just brightens the citrus flavors a bit more. I ended up preferring this warm instead of cold. Cold cup was good, but the lemon came forward a bit more and didn’t seem to balance with the orange as well. Squeezed some fresh orange in this to help with this. May be a different story if it is cold brewed though. I am actually drinking a 3rd steep now. Just a bit weaker, but still good. I added a slice of orange to this cup to help enhance the citrus on this one. Steeped at 180º for 2 mins and then 3 mins on 2nd and 3rd steep. Enjoy!
This is a fantastic light sipping tea. Nothing overpowering about it. The green tea flavor is a light touch and not at all grassy. The citrus flavors come through but nestle nicely into the tea to create a nice harmony of flavor.
I don't typically like green tea... there are less than a handful of exceptions, and this tea just made the short list of good green tea that I would purchase and drink again. It is light and refreshing, and does not have any grassy or vegetal flavors. The lemon/lime leans more towards just lemon, but it is a bright, tangy citrus flavor that doesn't hit those weird, fake lemon/lime flavors. This reminds me of the Lemon Meringue Green without the creaminess. I cold brewed my packet, so I can only speak to how tasty it is iced. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; cold brewed 4 hours)
A light, delicious, citrusy cup with soft green tea in the background.
This tea smells divine and looks beautiful, with flat-pressed green leaves accented with yellow marigold petals and citrus bits. The leaves are a bit long for my little mesh tea ball, so I recommend a roomy strainer!
When hot, sweet, gentle citrus flavors dominate. There's something almost cereal-like to the quality here - I feel a bit like I'm drinking a citrusy cup of Fruity Pebbles.
Warm, the flavors are stronger, and the cereal quality remains. But don't get me wrong - this is still a very mild tea!
Iced, this tea has the most flavor yet - more citrus, more Fruity Pebbles, and a friendly green tea taste at the end, nothing too grassy or vegetal. Even iced, at its strongest, this is a gentle cup of tea, great for sipping on a summer afternoon.
Nice light tea with a citrus tang in the background. Accidentally overstepped this one and it was still good. (10 mins @ 175°F)
I steeped this tea at 180F for 2 minutes. When hot, I couldn't really recognize any flavors. When cooled, I noticed a lot more orange and lime flavor, which is weird as lime isn't an ingredient even though it's mentioned in the description. It also had a pleasant citrus smell. I'd be really interested to know what citron actually tastes like as it's not actually an ingredient in this tea.
I’ve had many cups of this tea over the years. It was one of my first green teas I tried through adagio. I prefer to steep it for two minutes, almost three then chill it for iced tea or drink hot. It’s great for beginners that don’t quite know if green tea is for them or not.
As far as the flavor goes, the first thing I taste is similar to an actual Buddha's hand citron followed by hints of orange. This is a lovely green tea that I would probably prefer iced with honey. The tea itself is bright and light leaving plenty of room for the citrus flavors.
For me, it really needed 4-5 minutes of steeping to bring out the orange flavour. It had a nice citrusy aroma but overall was a little too mild for me.
175 degrees for 3 minutes. A bright citrusy flavor on a mild green base. I taste more lemon than orange, but its not sour. This would be great for green tea noobies who aren't quite sure about drinking grassy teas. A very pleasant drink!
Sprite green tea! Like lemon lime soda, but without any carbonation. I can see this being amazing iced.
Pleasant, mild citrusy flavor. This is one I’d probably brew double strength.
Beautiful green tea with citrus flavor. Good plain or with honey.
I seriously did not think I was going to like this because I don't care for lemon in tea, but I love it! It tastes and smells like fruity pebbles. An excellent balance of citrus fruits, not just lemon. I steeped for 3 minutes and added a tiny bit of stevia.
Drinking along with the CommuniTEA today: Strong powdery lemon scents wafting from dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 2.5 mins at 185°F, I notice grass and lemon notes from my cup. When I take a sip, I taste a tangy lemon/lime citrus tea with a slightly grassy, slightly minerally finish.
CommuniTEA Sample: very good green tea that has a nice light citrus flavor. It’s almost like a white tea in that there is no grassiness or strong green flavor. Another tea that would be great iced.
This is one of the better green teas I have had and it is quite refreshing as a cold brew this morning. Green tea really isn't my choice of tea though so personally I would rate it about a 6/10
This is one of my favorites of the flavored greens. It is just so light and fabulous! And I love citrus, so I’m not surprised this one rings my bells! If you are afraid of vegetal notes, this is the tea for you as there is no harsh grassiness or astringency. This is a smooth, sweet cup through and through. If you thought lemon meringue was a touch 'too extra' this one is the same flavor profile but turned down a couple of notches.
You can drink it plain or add a touch of honey to make the citrus notes pop even more. Let the sun shine in! Happy Sipping!
An ok tasting lemon flavored green tea that I made iced but may have preferred hot.
Delicious, strong lemon green tea. The citrus flavor comes through clearly and compliments the green.
A lovely, citrusy green tea! It is a very smooth tea, without the bitterness that some greens can have. This is great either hot or iced.
This is a lovely light green with the perfect amount of citrus notes
The citrus flavors blend well with the green tea. This tea is wonderful on its own or used in a blend with complimentary flavors.
