175@ 2:30. Leaves smelled pleasantly citrus which magnified when the hot water hit. Green tea smell more obvious when brewed, light green-yellow. Mild, pleasant, lemony flavor.
Chinese green tea with the delicate flavors of lemon and lime. An Adagio favorite, refreshing hot and iced.

Updated review, I tried this one iced this time and the citrus flavor was stronger this time. Still delicious and would definitely drink hot or cold.
A pretty decent green tea with a nice citrus flavor to it. Although the flavor isn't the strongest it still was pretty good, especially after it cooled.
One of my favorite teas yet. The citrus is perfect with the green tea. I drink this one almost daily.
Ugh, smells lovely and tastes delightfully citrusy. Very nice, will have to try as an iced tea sometime.
I added a bit of sweetener to this wonderful light lemon/lime green tea. Just citrus notes in my cup (no grassiness at all).
This is one of my favorite Adagio green teas. It actually smells more citrus than it tastes; but the blend of orange and lemon is so perfectly balanced when you are sipping. Absolutely zero grassiness. Just an all around great tea - hot or iced.
I really like this one. It is so much more than lemon green tea. There is a bright and clean cup of green goodness. I have had countless other lemon-citrus greens before and this is a cut above.
Delightfully fruity - I love the strong citrusy scent! The flavor does overpower the green tea a bit but the tea itself comes forward a little more as it cools. Nice summery tea!
Update on 1/25/23 - This tea tastes much better to me today, so I’m adding a star ⭐️ It smells and tastes lemony and with just a half teaspoon of raw honey for green tea it’s fantastic!
Old review: This is a pleasant green tea with some citrus flavors. It is definitely better tasting when warm and is probably a good iced tea. I steeped at 175 degrees for 3 minutes and added raw honey.
In the bag: Dark green, roughly chopped tea leaves make up nearly all of my packet. A few marigold flowers bring short streaks of yellow. One decent-sized hunk of orange rind.
On the nose (pre-steep): As advertised, the scent is a combination of citrus flavors and the slightly musty, grassy notes of green tea. I detect orange and lemon, though the orange is a touch more pronounced.
On the nose (post-steep): As with most greens, the steep removed the musty tone from the grassy flavor. Lemon has come forward to match the grass, while orange has taken a break.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Lemon has taken the lead over her green partner, though the grass is still supporting. Just a hint of bitterness. No tart notes.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): The lemon is just a hint brighter. The sweetness helps to cancel the bitter tone.
Opinion: A pleasant tea. I'm usually so-so about flavored greens, but this one's a keeper. I would have enjoyed it more if orange had made it through to the tongue - the lemon on its own was a bit plain.
Preparation: 2.5 min @ 175 ℉, ½ tsp monk fruit sweetener
Strong lemon scent, with a hint of orange when dry. Very light-bodied and citrusy, with a forward of orange before the lemon, and a short end of the flavor (doesn't linger terribly long after a sip) on a very mild lime note.
Nice light tasting green tea. Citrus flavor present but light. I added a slice of lemon to bring out the flavor more. Nice! Not grassy.
1/26/2023 - This is a good green tea. I have tried to make myself like green teas, but I really don't gravitate to the taste. Too light for me. So this tea really isn't for me...not one I would buy for myself...but I enjoy trying it when it pops up in CT. I bet green tea fans love this one!
This might be the best green tea I've ever tasted. As other reviewers have noted, it doesn't have the typical grassy characteristic of most green teas, I think thanks in large part to the lemon and lime combo. I have decided I REALLY like that combo in tea. It almost had a candied-peel quality. I loved it hot, and in warmer months, I definitely want to try this iced.
Green went for a ride
With friend Citrus at her side
Riding motorbikes!
They raced at full speed
Weaving around the traffic
Oh! What a fun ride!
Or
Notes of 7-up
Effervescence in my cup
They tickle my nose!

UPDATED from 7/5/22: I really like this tea and have gotten to drink it every year with CommuniTEA- it is so fresh, clean, and yummy. There is a strong and wonderful aroma of lemon/orange citrus as the CommuniTEA packet opens, It steeps into a light lemon-y yellow. It has a light green tea astringency. The citrus flavor is far subtler than the aroma of the dry leaves foreshadowed. It is delicious tasting plain. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener helps the fruits to come forward more. If you want a more citrusy flavor: either add a couple of squirts of fresh lemon juice or some Adagio orange peels when steeping the tea. This is so delicious as an ice tea, too. (3 mins @ 180ºF + optional: sweetener & lemon juice or orange peels).
So very yummy and fresh! I love It. Make me feel healthy. My husband makes it for me when I feel Under the weather
This was ok, but the citrus flavoring tastes very artificial to me -- a lot like the lemon flavoring used in mass-produced lemon iced tea. Again, it's not bad, just not one of my favorites.
I bought this just as a sampler, and I regret not getting a giant container of it. I drank four cups of this on day one, and then finished the sample the following day. It's so delicious. I drink this with a tiny bit of sugar just as a preference, because sugar isn't needed at all. 100/100 recommend.
This one was a little grassy but with a citrus kick. It was nice enough, but it didn't really enchant me.
A lovely, citrusy green tea that is good sipped hot with a little added honey or cold-steeped as a refreshing iced tea. Upon resteep, the citrus flavor takes a back seat to the green tea. So it is almost like two teas in one.
Fantastic and refreshing, this is my go to green tea.
This is a nice addition to my tea cabinet. A nice afternoon tea. Light enough to sip slowly and enjoy. Hearty enough to get me through the rest of the day.
awesome citrus aroma, decent green tea base, tea leaves not crushed up and powderized so its fresh and tasty
I really like this tea with a little bit of honey added to it and also brewed with an herbal orange for added flavor
This is one of my go to’s no matter the season. I love it on ice in the summer as well as a hot cup in the winter after work.
It's more grassy than i'm used to, but it's nice to have once in a while.
This is a good one. I don't typically like citrus notes in teas but this is mild enough to enjoy.
This is a really nice green tea; I like the crisp finish to it. I added 30 seconds to the second brewing and still full of flavor. I am still not sure this is an every day green tea but sure is nice refreshing cup.
Citron Green is my favorite iced tea and my usual morning pick-me-up. I cold steep it in the fridge overnight.
Love this tea - so glad I bought it. It is very refreshing - loved it, will buy again
Excellent. I like to drink fruity green teas cold and this one did not disappoint using the cold brew method. A smooth batch that refreshed and was good as a hot cup, too.
The best green tea I've ever drank. I'm mostly a black tea drinker but I cannot have a meal with out a cup of this to go along! Doesn't matter how long you steep it, it doesn't get super bitter! Would recommend to anyone who wants to try a great and refreshing green tea!
I don’t care for most green teas but this has a mild green tea flavor and the citrus isn’t overwhelming.
I love green tea blends! This blend is wonderful! Citrus and naturally sweet. I enjoyed this very much!! 3 min @ 180
I enjoyed the citron green clean crisp, lemon-lime mouthfeel that is wonderfully hot and iced. Sweetener goes well with the tea to bring out all the delicious flavors.
Today's CommuniTea packet is citron green with green tea, orange, marigold flowers, and lemon and orange flavors. It would undoubtedly make a cold brew too, but I had it hot today and it was very orange & lemony. Bright and refreshing. Brewed in 12 ounces of 180-drgree water for about two and a half minutes.
I could've sworn I'd reviewed this already. I really like this tea! Citrus is a favorite of mine and the combination with the green tea is really nice.
I really liked having the citrus flavor in this tea. I made it into an iced tea and it was perfect with a little sweetner added.
Light citrus flavor. Nothing was overpowering - just right. I’m not a big green tea fan but this was not too bad.
A grassy flavor, with just the lightest touch of citrus. Very light and refreshing. I love it!
One of my favorite green teas! It's not vegetal at all and has a light citrus flavor that's very refreshing.
I did not prefer today’s tea. I did not enjoy the combination of green tea and heavy citrus.
CommuniTEA: I enjoyed this nice mellow citrus cold brew.
7/5/22 update Cold brewed this and enjoyed this iced. So this tea is great both hot and cold.
This green tea is very bright and citrusy. I enjoyed this hot . The citrus was more flavorful as it cooled. This would be great iced as well.
A burst of citrus flavours, but not necessarily strong. Adding some agave helped to strengthen it so it didn't fade so quickly. It tastes more as it cools, so I think this would be better iced than hot.
I have a bit of a sore throat so I was a bit worried about having a citrus tea, but this one is so light that it didn’t bother me at all. I love the addition of the marigold flowers, too, which make this more floral than grassy and compliment the citrus flavors nicely.
This is a nice and smooth green tea with a citrus twist.
this citron green tea is very nice and refreshing with a twist of citrus. This is a nice hot tea and also a perfect iced tea and they both mix well with other tea flavors. I use sweetener to bring out more fruit flavor. Fabulous!
Absolutely one of my favorite Adagio Teas and a regular item in my tea cabinet. I find the tea to be refreshing with an outstanding aroma. Citrus Green can be drank either hot or cold or even pleasant from a cuppa that has been left sit for a period of time. As long as the steeping water isn’t too hot I haven’t found any astringency in my cuppa.
Steeping notes — 195 degrees for 3 minutes in the Adagio steeping mug.
This has a great lemon lime flavor that goes well with the green tea. I haven’t tried this as a hot tea yet because it is just SO GOOD as a cold brew. I highly recommend this one.
