The tart with the green tea is so so good. Very refreshing
I purchased cherry green to see if it was as good as dewy cherry. When dry the leaves smell of bubblegum, when hot it's that familiar cherry scent. I brewed about 1 tbsp of leaves to less than 5 oz of water. This tea is soft, cherry dances in the background but not for long, the sweet grassy green takes over. Would like to experiment more with this. Some hibiscus or mixing it with dewy cherry will bring it to life. Overall it's a solid 5 stars have nothing bad to say about it.
I was surprised with the first sip. I love the soft smooth cherry taste,it wasn't strong but just right.
It was just ok. I didn't really enjoy the cherry flavor. It tasted like fake cherry kool aid. And it masked the fullness of the green tea.

If it wasn't for the candied cherry, this would get a 5 star. But as it is, we likely won't buy it again. My spouse can't even drink it because the candied cherry reminds him of liquid antibiotics he used to have to take as a child.
This tea is the perfect pick me up in the afternoon - the cherry flavor is perfect!
This is one of my favorite year round teas!! I must keep a supply on hand and this is a good anytime of day tea. I nice treat to myself, especially on busy days where the only treats I have are a hot cup of tea and a few minutes to just enjoy the aroma and taste. This is also really good iced by the way. In the summer I make a pot in the morning, two cups of hot tea then a glass over ice at lunch. Yum!!
Those rose and cherry are a bright addition to a very smooth sencha.
My wife calls this Smarties (the candy) tea. It really does taste like it. It makes your mouth water. After that, it falls a bit flat.

Absolutely love this tea. The taste of cherry is very mellow in contrast to the initial smell when opening the bag. I do wish the Cherry taste was just slightly more but am good with it where it is. Very smooth relaxing tea. Will definitely be purchasing again.
I'm surprised this tea isn't rated more highly. It is a soft, gentle tea. The cherry flavor is present but subtle. I think it tastes more like cherry blossoms than cherry fruit. It doesn't seem to blend well with other teas since it's too easily overwhelmed. But if you're looking for a calm, meditative sip, this will do nicely.
(I don't think Adagio's write up captures this flavor; maybe people were expecting this tea to be something it's not and were consequently disappointed.)
This one is tasty, even with a hint of the cherry cough syrup scent that reaches of nose when the packet is first opened. I don't think it will become a daily drinker, but it's well worth finishing the sample.
I love the flavor of cherry, so I knew for sure I would enjoy this tea. The smell is deceptively strong (personally I love it, as I think it smells like cherry candies) but is much more mellow taste-wise. It could stand to smell a little less and taste a little more, but overall I really like this blend. (UPDATED: I ordered this again, brewed it a little longer and added a tiny hint of honey, and the flavor is definitely up to par with the wonderful scent.)
It’s not naturally sweet enough for me personally so I have to add a lot of sugar. Might be more to someone else’s taste tho!

The cherry in this tea really compliments it well. However, though I do love it, it has an almost medicinal taste, almost like a cough drop (without the menthol). But I truly enjoyed it. I have purchased again.
This tea was okay, but I don't think I'd order it again. The balance of flavors was very strong on the cherry side. That said, my co-worker loved it, and is planning on ordering some herself.
After tasting multiple cherry teas, I have come to realize I don't like Adagio's cherry flavor. It's more floral, like cherry blossoms, than fruity. If you have had another cherry-flavored option and like it, then this one will live up to those standards.

This has a nice balance of flavors. I tried the cherry black tea and the cherry was overpowering and artificial tasting, but the green is much more pleasant. Great aroma, lovely blend.

I was so excited about this tea, and it seemed pretty good at first. It does taste like soap, though. After tasting Cherry Marzipan, which I thought Cherry Green would taste like, I had to change my assessment of this one. Very disappointed to do so!
This is a good flavorful tea if you are fond of rose flavored tea. I wish it tasted more like cherries and less like roses.

This is an interesting and flavor-packed green tea blend. This is cherry heavy, which I liked, but could be easily too much for someone seeking a lighter profile. First impressions is heavy aromatic cherry notes from dry tea to steep to first sips. I thought the cherry scent would fade a bit as the tea brewed but it remains strong. I ended up making this as an iced brew and liked it even more chilled. I would recommend sweetening it slightly before cooling for best flavor.
cold brewed overnight in the fridge. Very floral with just a hint of cherry in the finish. Adding sweetener made it more prominent but also made it taste very medicinal, so I'd skip it.
This was my first cup of Adagio tea. I really enjoyed the taste.

I brew my teas rather lightly at a soft temp. I was looking for a pleasant green tea with subtle fruitiness and this one knocked it out of the park! I was nervous when I initially opened the bag because the cherry smell was very strong, but it did not overpower the flavor at all. It is light and refreshing with a sweet finish!
I really enjoyed this one. I like the green tea base for Adagio's flavored teas, and the cherry flavoring doesn't taste fake or gross. I brewed at 180F for 3 minutes, and got a just faintly sweet, light, refreshing cherry flavored tea. It was lovely, and would probably also be very good iced. I would definitely drink this again.

Dry tea smells of cherry, but only rose petals are hiding among the green tea leaves. Once brewed, it brews into a medium golden green with a nice cherry smell. When hot, the cherry taste was non-existent, and the green tea is hard to taste. As the tea cools, the green tea is easier to taste with some metallic cherry taste in the finish. The rose flavor seems to mix with the cherry in a way that is not appealing to me. The underlying green tea tastes nice, no bitterness and a hint of crisp fresh green vegetal notes before being overwhelmed by cherry. All in all, not a tea I will purchase on my own. Brewed at 180 for 3 minutes.
I can't remember disliking a tea so much as today's tea...I actually checked to make sure it was tea in my cup, it tasted like soap or perfume. I took two sips and could not take any more. This was just a huge NOPE for me...
Like several other reviews, I was missing cherry pieces in my packet. But I still found the cherry scent strong. It wasn’t bad, but not my tastes. It has a very stringent finish that is just not something I like in my tea.
This one just fell short for me. The aroma was nice, reminded me not of cherries, but cherry hard candy. Once steeped the cherry came across as weak fake flavor. The addition of rose did not add to but distracted from. It made for a strange taste combined with the cherry. The green was slightly grassy to me. Maybe a green tea fan would enjoy it more. 180° for 2 min.
Strong cherry aroma in my CommuniTEA sample packet, although it was missing any dried cherries. I steeped 2g per 8 oz water at 175°F x 3 min. I found that a little sweetener brought the fruit forward, but the cherry didn't overpower the green tea. The rose was very subtle. I enjoyed two steeps--one hot and the other cold.
This was surprisingly wonderful! I love the cherry flavor blended with the green tea. At first, I was a little nervous about the cherry. I do especially love that Adagio doesn't add sugar to their teas so it does taste more natural. I think this would have been too sweet and might taste fake with any added sweetener. I was able to taste the cherry, but was a good thing this time. I have tasted cherry teas before that are too much like candy or medicine, but this one was perfectly balanced and tasted natural. The color was beautiful to sip and the aroma was very pleasant. I enjoyed the first steep hot and the second steep iced. I plan to add this to my order soon so I can try it as a cold steep. Great blend!
The cherry flavor is not doing it for me - it leaves a bit of a medicinal aftertaste. I'm not normally fond of cherry flavors anyway, so to each their own, I'm sure!
For a green tea this is excellent. There is no grassiness or vegetal taste. The cherry in my CommuniTea packet was balanced and not overwhelming. I have to admit I like cherry flavoring though. It reminds me of Luden's cough drops (which I loved as a kid and would fake a cough just to try to get them). I steeped at 180 F x 2 min 30 sec, 1/2 tsp monkfruit was added as a sweetener. Yum!! ;-)
I drank this communitea sample blind, and I would never have guessed any cherry was in here. Upon inspection I didn't see any cherry pieces, so maybe I was just unlucky. The tea was drinkable and smooth, I just wouldn't have guessed the flavor profile.
