The green tea flavor paired well with the fruity cherry in this refreshing and light green tea. Highly recommend

This one was ok. I'm considering mixing another tea like vanilla or coconut to it so the cherry flavor isn't as strong.

★★★★★

I’m a huge fan of cherry tea in general. I feel like most of the cherry teas I’ve been trying are black teas. It’s nice to have a great tea option

I was worried about the fake cherry and cough drop comments. I bought a sampler and brewed a batch. Yes, the bag does smell medicine-y, however the tea brews up beautifully but not as cherry as I had hoped for. Adding lemon helps release some more of the cherry flavor, but I may need to add dried cherries to get the intensity I desire.

Despite that, don't be put off by the Luden's comments OR the scent, unless of course you cannot stand it at all, I mean you can only go so far in that case, but the tea has a fresh snap and is still great with a touch of lemon.

I really liked how present the Cherry flavor was in this one!

Really good tea for iced tea! Very refreshing. It's good without any sugar.

This is my all time favorite green tea. It is great by itself, however, I will always add a herbal tea (such as a fruit medley or blood orange herbal tea) along with my fresh ginger, lemons, and blueberries for what I feel is a great healthy tea with so much flavor.

Smells strongly of rose petals and faintly of cherry. I tried this hot and cold and with cream, I simply cannot drink this tea.

I cold brewed this tea for about 32 hours and I find it to be a delicious green tea with a hint of cherry candy flavors. It’s a nice refreshing iced tea.

Update 5/26/23 I also enjoy this tea hot but unlike most green teas I found that the second steep was watery. (175 degrees for 3 minutes and honey added.)

A green tea that held the idea of cherry in it, but not so much any substantial taste of it. Had the barest hint of grassiness at the end of it; the cherry was light and, even with coaxing from honey or coldbrewing, hard to strengthen or pull to the top. The rose is more notable, though at least not particularly perfume-ey in smell nor taste [though this could've been because my CommuniTEA packet had hardly any rose petals in it].

It has a petroleum like smell right out of the package. Steeped for 2-3 minutes and no improvement in smell. It tasted no better than how it smelled. Sorry Green Cherry but cherries aren't meant to be green.

Not gonna bash this tea even though it tasted a bit artificial because I like it, it was naturally sweet and full of cherry lifesaver flavor, not complaining because I love that flavor, I might have to get this one for my stash I must have had all of the cherry in mine, no rose to speak of

This tea has a nice fruity flavor to me and isn't overly 'green'. I rather liked it.

Tried as a CommuniTEA sample. I don't like Adaigio's cherry flavoring. The tea smells like cherry cough drops and tastes too artificial to me. I had this once before and it wasn't as strong. I wonder if the formula was changed.

Very off-putting cough syrup smell when I opened my sample packet, so I sipped this one trepidatiously... and it was good! Definitely cherry, but not artificial like I was expecting, nicely balanced with rose and green tea, I thought. Disclaimer: still getting over a cold and not sure how accurate my taste and smell are today.

Very floral aroma The rose was very present. This tea has a light yellow color. Relaxing tea 😊 Honey enhanced the flavors.

I think it is really hard to do natural cherry flavor. Unfortunately hot this crosses over into cough syrup. It might be better cold brewed.

Very nice tea, no grassy flavor, cherrt flavor comes through strongly and no tartness.

★★★☆☆

The cherry scent is artificial and yet somehow I can barely taste the cherry. Rose dominates this cup.

Didn't taste much of the cherry flavor, but that aside it was...alright. Don't really have strong feelings either way about this blend.

This reminds me way too much of the Lychee Rose; except they substituted the cherry in place of the lychee, except they forgot the cherry, and all we are left with is the rose. I tried this hot and cold, and still barely a hint of cherry; just a light green tea with floral notes. I'm giving ME three stars, because I drank it all anyway!

The tea today has the rose and cherry fighting. The rose won.

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was met with a very fragrant aroma of cherries. It was a bit medicinal, but also had some floral notes to it. I steeped the tea for about 2 minutes to avoid bitterness. The cherry flavor blends really nicely with the green tea! It is flavorful, but not overpowering.

Perhaps I needed to steep it for longer (though I let it steep for five minutes at the designated water temperature), but I felt this tea lacked flavor. I got the faintest hint of cherry and very little of the green tea. Unfortunately not the tea for me.

This is another one of those you have to know Adagio means rose petal when saying cherry teas. I am on the fence about rose petal and this is very perfumy. Not awful but just very rose petal. Not my favorite.

I don't get the mixed reviews of this one. The taste is exactly as the title says, it's cherry flavored green tea. It does it's job. It doesn't have a tang to it because it's made from a certain type of cherry, and I can appreciate that as a cherry lover. Though I wish it was a different kind of cherry used in the tea, I still like it all the same. It's great, it's sweet without being overpowering, and it's just mellow. It's a well rounded tea and very enjoyable.

Would love a different word than 'bad' for this! It's not that bad! I thought I would hate it because the smell was medicinal. at 2 miin it's a mild tea with a tart aspect. But I guess both green tea and cherry flavor are two things I often don't love unless it's a particular kind so, two from me.

Updated 5/26/2023:
I am not a fan of this tea. The smell of the dry leaves reminds me of cherry cough drops, and the taste isn't much better. I love cherries, but not cherry flavoring.

Original review:
This is a pleasant tea. I do taste more of the green tea, than the cherry. Maybe if I steep it longer, I will get more cherry flavor. It does have a very fruity smell.

Cherry Green! 🍒🍵 I don't quite love this but the 'Luden cough drop' scent to this tea makes its better than solely 'three stars,' for me. So. Four stars is fair.

In the bag: Nearly all of my packet is green tea. A few medium-sized rose petals.

On the nose (pre-steep): Strong aroma of candied maraschino cherries. Hint of rose. Cloying nose feel. Intense.

On the nose (post-steep): Rose has switched places with cherry to take the lead. This aroma is heavily perfumed. Some sugar. Still quite cloying.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Rose and cherry are equal flavors at center stage. The typical grassiness of green is nowhere to be tasted.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): No change.

Opinion: A pleasant, quaffable tea. If I had tasted this blind, I would have guessed it was an herbal. Any promise of structure that the green should have delivered has been lost beneath the perfume. Overall, a simple flavor that cherry lovers should enjoy.

Preparation: First steep 2.5 min, second steep 5 min. Both @ 175 ℉. ¼ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

UPDATED from 6/14/22: “...without the cherry orchard my life has no meaning for me” (Act 3 The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov). By the end of the Act, poor Lyubov loses her beloved orchard, whereas I am greeted with the smell of a cherry orchard as the CommuniTEA packet opens. The many leaves and petals steep into a light yellow liqueur with a flowery aroma. A strong flavor of ripe cherries and fresh greens greet my tongue and I wonder at it being called a “wild cherry flavor.” I love fresh cherries but am not a fan of cherry flavoring. This tea also has a strong rose flavor (another flavor I do not like in teas). If you like cherries and roses, this is the tea for you. As it cools, the tea remains tasty, so this might make a good ice tea. (3 mins @ 180ºF + sweetener).

Loved the flavor of this one a lot. Not too strong and very subtle cherry flavor. It works well both hot and cold. Its a nice summer drink.

This tea is a hit with myself, my mom, and my dad (and my dad isn't really a tea person!). With 2tsp of rock sugar crystals, it's almost candy-sweet and the cherry flavor and rose petals are DIVINE. Its actually the only tea in my collection that my dad will drink, so it MUST be as good as I think it is! It's definitely one of my favorites.

I found this tea to be an enjoyable hot tea, but it was not my favorite. The flavor had a slight medicine flavor. I would choose other green tea flavors over this next time.

Lovely little tea, great cherry flavor that's not too overpowered. Keep in mind using artificial sweetener with this tea can make it a little reminiscent of cough syrup, so recommend real sugar with this one, or leave it unsweetened.
