Wife loves the flavor ,not to strong and very smooth

Very mild! Upon opening the bag, the smell of cherry is strong and of the candied kind and promises to overpower the green tea, but upon brewing ends up being a smooth background note. It somehow reminded me of bubblegum.

Not for me I'm afraid. It smells of bubblegum in the bag and tastes like a weak green bubblegum odd flavor.

This tea was ok. I didn't love it, but I didn't pour it out either. Just didn't love the cherry flavor paired with the green tea.

This is a nice tea! The cherry flavor isn't overwhelming, it does taste a little artificial but not unpleasantly so. It makes for a good green tea.

I really liked this tea and thought the green tea base worked well with the cherry flavoring. (I was worried it would taste too 'green tea', but it didn't.)

The packet smells like cherry cough syrup when opened which concerned me because I don’t like it. When brewed it has a light artificial cherry taste which is ok but not great. I would pass on it the next time.

initial sip seemed interesting enough, but beyond that everything just began to taste medicinal and/or soapy... the cherry tasted off, the rose overpowering... not my cup of tea.

CommuniTEA sample: 2 min @ 180 F, second cup for 3 min @ 180 F. I do think that the dry leaves smell like cherry medicine. However, mostly, the tea tastes like green tea. After being brewed, it has some floral qualities that push it into an almost vanilla scent, probably from the rose petals. It does have a little bit of a cherry fragrance and aroma in the flavor, but I mostly taste green tea. What I do taste that is cherry doesn't really taste natural. It's not quite as concentrated and offensive as cherry medicine, but it reminds me of cherry flavored sauces and drinks and things like that, and doesn't quite capture the real thing. Overall, not a bad tea, and I do like that I can detect both the green tea and the cherries, and the rose adds a nice accent.

I recently tried cherry green tea, and it’s quickly become one of my favorites. The combination of the green tea with the sweet-tart flavor of cherry is perfectly balanced. It’s not overpowering or artificial—just a smooth, refreshing blend that’s both soothing and uplifting.

Definitely one of my favorites, very refreshing and the cherry isn’t super overpowering. I would buy again

The cherry green is another one of my favorite . It’s been a good two for years. When I’m not sure what to go for. I grabbed the cherry green. It’s a perfect humble between the cherry flavor and the green tea overpowering it works in the summer and in the winter time iced or hot.

I wasn't sure what I'd think of this one. In general, not a fan of greens but always willing to give a new one a try. This green has such a nice tart cherry flavor without the grassy green tea undertones. I really enjoy this one.

★★★★☆

This one's smell in the pouch is so cherry medicine, but don't let that stop you. The flavor is definitely softer than the pouch. That doesn't mean it is light though. I taste Luden's cherry drops which I ate like candy as a kid so that was nice. I definitely get that floral finish from the rose which I also like. What is most in the background for me is the base as I don't taste a ton of the usual green tea taste. I found it enjoyable, but totally see why some who don't like rose petals flavor or artificial cherry will dislike this one. I am curious to try it iced as well and see it's potential in blends as it is so strong on its own. No additives for me.

This green tea has a very pleasing aroma. The cherry scent is very much present as well as in the flavor. Even if you don’t actually get a cherry to steep in every cup the flavor is still there. With a sweetener like my choice of honey it tastes similar to that or a cherry candy like a Jolly Rancher. The green tea takes a back seat in this but would make for a great dessert tea. I suspect it would be great iced as well.

This tea has become one of my favorites. I made it for my daughter and she has become a new fan. Just enough cherry to not overwhelm the tea but enough to know that the cherry flavor is there.

I’ve been searching for a solid cherry green tea and came across this one. I really enjoyed the blend! Cherry flavor comes through nicely

I have been drinking this for years, it is very good. It's a very mild cherry, I wish I knew which kind of green tea the cherry is blended with though

I'm really happy I only did the sample of this one. I think this isthe first tea from the company that I'm a hard pass on. It takes like perfume mixed with a bubble bath. Oof. It's an experience.

★★☆☆☆

I got a sample of this and it was really good, so I bought it and the purchased product tasted like an earthy cough syrup.

This tea has a certain sharpness that I don't really enjoy. I'm not sure which element it comes from, but it gives it a slightly artificial flavor to me. It might be okay blended with something to round it out, though.

In a cup so green, a cherry dream,
This tea's the zestiest scheme!
Leaves so bright, with a fruity twist,
Makes your taste buds do a happy dance, not a miss.

Sipping on this blend, you’ll feel quite keen,
Like you've got a cherry tree in your kitchen scene.
So brew a pot, take a little sip,
And let this green tea give your mood a flip!

UPDATED: I cold-steeped it this time and enjoyed it. The cherry flavour was very prominent, and the grassiness of the green tea was much more subdued. I find I like these fruity green teas a lot better cold-steeped than hot.

Original review 6/14/22: It wasn't as herbaceous and 'green' as I was expecting, and the cherry flavour was pretty nice. Green tea is just not my favourite.

Pleasant cherry aroma and flavor. It blends nicely with the green tea for a summery cup.

This tea has a quite artificial cherry taste (not sour, not sweet - which is a bit confusing). I think it's okay, but I wouldn't buy it. The green tea is there as well, but very mild.

Not for me, right off I didn't like the smell of the tea I figured it was a bad sign. It was medicinal and a bit to floral. I love cherry but not Adagios unfortunately.

I was initially hesitant about the medicine smell of the sample, but the brewed tea is a lot less strong. The cherry and rose smooths out the grassiness of the green tea. A smooth, mildly fruity cup of tea!

I do enjoy cherry and even cherry blends which include cherry flavoring...love me a cherry cough drop! However, the combination of green tea, medicinal cherry and rose is off putting. I still drank it but probably wouldn't again.

Mmmhmm such a good tea! The Cherry balances perfectly with the green tea, and the rose is such a tasty undertone to bring it all together! Tart, but sweet. Steeped it for the prescribed time with success, and the resteep tasted just as good

Update* Temp makes all the difference! Delicous cherry flavor with smooth green compliments well, no longer tasting artificial but bumping up my list of good teas.

*While not horrible, it certainly had an artificial cherry flavor. The green tea was nice but that cherry smacks you in the nostalgic medicinal memory palet.

It smells good, but kinda has a fake cherry flavor, similar to cough medicine. if you add some sweetener to it, it moderates the flavor though.

I was really excited to try this tea, but was left disappointed. The leaves have a very strong artificial smell. As for the taste, the rose is stronger than the cherries upon initial tasting. The aftertaste is reminiscent of a cherry cough syrup.

I find it difficult to find a good flavored green tea, but this one fills the bill nicely. It still tastes green, but the cherry notes add a lovely sweetness. My favorite green in my collection.

I was not a fan, it definitely had the "cherry flavor" and it was a medicinal taste, almost like medicine.
