bitter on a 3-minute steep. acidity irritated my stomach
Bright Ceylon tea with pure vanilla. Soothing and cozy, like warm sugar cookies made with fresh vanilla beans.

bitter on a 3-minute steep. acidity irritated my stomach
Very smooth not bitter at all. I drink this every morning.
Love this. A lot of people said the taste of vanilla was too subtle but I really enjoyed it and didn't sweeten it or add cream. Was delicious on it's own. The smell is definitely stronger than the taste but it was yummy.
I prefer the Green vanilla as that one tastes more strongly of vanilla but this one is nearly as good.
Very refreshing. Great flavor, not overwhelming or to herbal.
This is tea is so perfect after dinner. I love that it tastes like a cookie!!
A subtle yet strong tea with just a hint of Vanilla. It is the perfect tea to relax with after a long day! No sugar needed as it is sweet on its own. It fills the palate with natural sweetness. Comforting!
Good tea, black tea in this tastes great however the vanilla flavor is minimal.
Ok on it's own, with a slightly sweet aftertaste, I mostly use this for blending with other teas like tiger eye or caramel.
a little light in flavor for me, but my husband is a big fan (he likes plain English breakfast best)
Decent flavored tea. But we only use this as an add-in for chai teas to change things up
Doesn't taste or smell like vanilla at all. Still ok for mellowing overpowering fruity teas.
This tea is very... delicious! It's smooth, slightly sweet. I add a bit more sugar than than the average tea enthusiast, and I'm addicted. I will be buying it in a bigger size.
Good basic vanilla black tea. Won't be buying again though as I prefer the vanilla black from tea forte.
Nice by itself or blended with other flavored teas, especially almond
Subtle vanilla taste...very smooth! I drink it with a little bit of sweetener.
If you love vanilla flavored beverages, you will love this one!
Very nice tea. I like vanilla and this goes well with cream and sugar.
Right when you open the bag you get a whiff of vanilla beans. My daughters loved this tea and so did I.
My daughters favorite tea! A wonderful vanilla flavor, warms you up on the coldest of days!
I am not a fan of flavored tea, but I do love the warm, comforting flavor of vanilla teas. This is not the best I have had, but it is good for the price. It was a nice addition to my order of Yunnan teas.
This makes such a nice note when combined with other teas.
Great strong vanilla tea, I have tried many vanilla teas before but this is by far the best.
i love this tea!!! its one of my favs without a doubt!!
This is really good. Pretty strong vanilla taste and smell.
The vanilla was a really strong flavor, but not overpoweringly so. I enjoyed it alone or paired along with some other favorite teas (is strawberry).
I love to mix vanilla tea with peppermint, and a little stevia...it is sooo good! Karen
Subtle vanilla taste. Good compliment to the black tea.
Nice vanilla tea, with great flavor. I prefer this with milk and sugar. One of the better vanilla teas I have found (outside of England!).
Such a great quality tea. Great flavor and a great mixing flavor.
A good tea with a subtle vanilla flavor. You can smell the vanilla more than you can taste it- sweetened it's a bit better. I like to mix it with some other flavored teas to try something new.
Too much vanilla alone, but I love adding this to my ceylon sonata for a different drink selection. Since I add no sugar or cream, adding some flavors is an excellent way to change a drink.
I love this tea! Much more satisfying than I expected, comforting vanilla shines through an excellent black tea.
This is one of my fall-back flavors. It doesn't have that cloying sweetness that some teas have (I suspect other companies use lesser quality 'artificial vanilla flavoring'). I found this tea is a great companion to almond: A full 3 oz of vanilla with a sampler pack of almond, mix together in a tin, and it is heaven!
This is a pretty solid tea. The vanilla is more complex than I expected, and pretty strong, almost caramel-y. It's good though! Still, I think it's better in blends and will probably be mixing it with some other samples I picked up.
Its a nice black tea that I mix with cream to make vanilla cream, my friend loves it
tastes pretty good. smells better than it tastes, but generally i avoid vanilla flavored anything. still, not bad.
Subtle vanilla flavor that is not artificial at all. Great alone and I imagine would be great for mixing. This will be a staple for me - says a lot as I'm not a huge vanilla fan!
The Vanilla tea tastes a bit strange by itself, but with a bit of milk, sugar, and a touch of cinnamon it tastes absolutely spectacular. It's my new favorite drink!
(Note, I'm a bit new to tea making. I'm not particular with tea temperature, I just pour the water into the pot when the kettle whistles. I also am one to add milk to black teas for I find them a bit bitter on their own, so please take my review with a grain of salt.)
I guess the vanilla flavor is a little weak. This just isn't one of my favorite black tea flavors.
It was just ok.. not the best vanilla I've ever had but not bad.
A lovely, fragrant tea. Tastes wonderful with sugar and milk. I think I may like the vanilla oolong more, but this is also very nice.
has great flavor served hot or over ice cold both with a little creamer
smells really good in the package, but a lot of the vanilla flavor and scent disappears once it's brewed.
The tea was really good! I just used a coffee filter to filter the tea leaves.
This is a lovely base tea to have around. I've used it to stretch other teas, soften ones I don't love, and make my own impromptu blends at home. The vanilla isn't too cloying or fake.
Love vanilla flavored teas. This one far exceeds my expectations.
To me this tasted like the cream tea, but my older sister enjoyed this very much with milk, sugar, and blended with ice.
Adds a nice touch of vanilla but I would prefer more. Not bad overall.
Not as fragrant or sweet as I expected. It was just OK.
