Not really a big fan of their Valentines (black tea, rose petals, chocolate flavor and strawberries flavor) You can smell a distinct chocolate fragrance when you brew it but the Ceylon black tea was so strong that it overpowers the fragrance of rose. The chocolate flavor seemed a bit too unnatural and too intentional for me. However, this one did make me want to order Ceylon from them.

If your ever want romance in a cup, pair a berry with chocolate, and you've got a tea that does not lose its brilliance. I used this tea as a concentrate for latte, and I love tasting the roses. That flavor is probably more outstanding than the berries and chocolate taste, which is what got me about this tea, originally.

★★★★☆

I was hoping for less chocolate more strawberry flavor! This is more for the chocolate lover! Either way it is a very good tea.

I found this a pleasing balance of flavors that didn't overwhelm the tea itself. Even better with some rock sugar and a dollop of milk to smooth it all out.

Smells and tastes like a chocolate-covered strawberry, but the rose flavor is very subtle and almost disappears when the tea is brewed. Very nice tea, though.

Excellent aroma, but needs a little more time to steep than I tried.

There was something slightly off-putting about the smell of the loose tea, but once brewed it smelled lovely. A bit of sweetener and cream, and it's a nice sweet treat that's relaxing for before bed (caveat: even black tea doesn't have enough caffeine to disturb my sleep, but YMMV)

★★★★★

I loved this tea! Before I tried it I was uncertain about the mix of chocolate and fruit in a tea, but I ended up happily drinking down the whole sampler.

★★★★★

I ordered a sample of this tea when it was on sale and was more than pleasantly suprised by the sensual marriage of sweet flavors.

★★★★☆

This tea smells wonderful in the bag and in the cup, I can taste the chocolate and strawberry.

Unfortunately not my favorite. I was excited at the prospect of the chocolate flavor, but it strikes my palate as a little too fake with a slightly metallic aftertaste.

★★★★☆

A very interesting blend of flavors, but I liked it. Actually quite reminiscent of strawberry-flavored hookah, if you've ever tried it. Very smoky and fruity flavors.

This tea really does smell like a chocolate-dipped strawberry, and I had high expectations for the taste. While it DID taste good, it wasn't very strong. Also, I wish Adagio would not use rose petals in so many of their teas. They're just too... perfumed. Other than that, I found this tea to be pleasantly sweet and dry. I wouldn't drink it every day, but it's a nice occasional treat. Also, another reviewer said that the tea tasted better after letting it cool down toward room temperature, and I agree. More of the berry and chocolate flavors come out as it cools, though I probably wouldn't drink this as an iced beverage.)

it was way to sweet 'feeling' to me. I think the sent and flavor don't mesh. But in all fairness Im not a sweet tea drinker either

★★★★★

LOVE this tea!! so delicious with milk. wish there was a decaf version though.

★★★★★

Great taste, nice color, good for special occasions and mood.

★★☆☆☆

Smelled like heaven but as soon as I saw the actual rose petals I began to worry. My worry was founded. The petals laid limp when wet and the smell was like a funeral home, sorry, to me. I couldn't get past it. I spit the first sip out and when i tried again, it was still bad. if it had more berry and chocolate and a lot less petals, I'd likely been fine. those rose petals did not help it at all

★★★☆☆

I didn't love this tea, so far I haven't like any of the flavored teas. I could taste a little of the strawberry and chocolate but it was bitter. I know that I did not steep it too long. I will still try to play around with it and try to make it something I like.

★★★★★

I just received my Ingenuitea pot and about 8 different tea samples. This was my first taste of Adagio teas, AND using the pot. LOVE it! This tea smells great, and tastes just as good. Today I tried it hot, and now I can't wait to 'ice' it! Liquid decadence!!!

This tea has a really unique flavor. I liked it a lot. It smelled like chocolate covered strawberries.

★★★★★

great! strawberry and other various flavors, it's good :D

★★★★★

I LOVE this tea. Sweet, decadent dessert tea, even better with cream and sugar. Smells amazing in the bag as well as in the cup.

★★★★☆

While the smell is quite pleasant dry, this tea brews very sweet. However, with a splash of milk, this makes a nice dessert tea.

★★★★★

This is my favorite Adagio tea so far! It really does taste exactly like chocolate covered strawberries. I find that it doesn't need any sweetener at all. It makes a good breakfast or evening tea as far as I'm concerned, and it's excellent hot or iced.

★★★★★

The first tea I ever tried from Adagio, and still one of my favorites :)

Good dessert tea. I didn't think I would like this tea, but I enjoyed it. I couldn't drink it every day, but it's nice to enjoy occasionally. It tastes very much like a chocolate strawberry.

My first taste of this tea came from a shop called Agia Sophia in Old Colorado City. I took a sip with cream and sugar in it and almost thought I was drinking a chocolate dipped strawberry. I found this site was their supplier for tea and have been ordering it ever since.

This tea is supposed to be chocolaty but I did not get that taste enough. It does not taste bad just not strong enough.

★★★★☆

The best thing about this tea is its smell. It literally smells EXACTLY like a chocolate covered strawberry. However, its taste is not quite so phenomenal. While it is a delicious tea, the chocolate flavor tends to overpower the more subtle strawberry and rosehip. So while it is still a delicious tea, its taste did not quite live up to the expectations its smell created.

Very flavorful brew. Hints of chocolate and strawberry, in perfect balance.

It smelled delicious when I opened the bag. I added a touch of creamer and sweetener, which really brought out the flavours.

This is absolutely delicious tea. It really tastes like chocolate covered strawberries, and doesn't have a weird fake taste.

★★★☆☆

I normally really like rose tea, really like strawberry tea, and really like chocolate tea but all together just didn't do it for me. Too much of a good thing? Liked it, but wouldn't get more.

★★★★★

This tea exceeded my expectations. I've been a fan of any tea from this company that has chocolate in it, so I knew it would be good from the start, but the strawberry flavor didn't taste artificial as I thought it would. My husband and I enjoyed this so much that we are making this a Valentine's day tradition. We had this tea with dessert (goes great with chocolate ones) after our Valentine's day dinner:-)

★★★☆☆

This tea smells great in the package but after brewing you have to let it cool just above room temp to get any strawberry flavor and adding cream and sugar was the only way to get the chocolate to come out but then it over powered the strawberry.

I'm addicted to this tea, probably because I love chocolate. I don't usually like fruit flavored teas, but the hint of strawberry goes well with the chocolate. Some teas that have chocolate flavoring taste like watered down hot chocolate to me, but not this Valentines tea. It's one of my favorites.

This tea is good, but I find it a bit hard to taste the chocolate so much.

★★★★★

A nice sweet tea, the chocolate and the strawberry mix very well together with the black tea. I think any tea drinker would enjoy this.

★☆☆☆☆

This tea has no strawberry flavor at all. There was no identifiable flavor-it was just bitter. It smelled like chocolate, but it was not a good smell and was overpowering. This was absolutely the worst tea I've gotten. I threw all of the tea out after one cup.

★★★★★

Quite a few chocolate and fruit flavored teas boast about being good substitutes for high-calorie dtreats. This is the first tea that can actually make this claim and live up to it. The chocolate and strawberry flavors blend well with the black tea, and the rose petals give it a little extra flavor.

★★★★☆

Wasn't too sure what to expect out of a chocolate tea but this isn't bad. The chocolate smell is really overpowering and I was worried that was all I'd taste, but the strawberry is there and definitely balances it out. I liked it more than I thought I would.

★★★★★

I read the other reviews and was immediately intrigued. After brewing the tea I noticed immediately the smell that is exactly that of chocolate covered strawberries. The taste itself captures the food well but I find the flavor is better if you use more than the recommended amount.

It tastes so close to actual chocolate covered strawberries that I'm amazed! It's a fantastic gift to give to anyone, not just your valentines. I sent it to two friends who needed cheering up, and they loved it just as much as I did!

I tried this tea on impulse and I'm so glad I did!

★★★★☆

Surprisingly good! I brewed a good strong cup, added a touch of milk and the end result tasted like chocolate covered strawberries. I'd order this again for times that I want a sweet treat.

★★★★☆

Very nice dessert tea. Do not over brew will become bitter. Chocolate flavor is kinda cheap tasting, as with all cheap cocoa a bit of milk helps smooth it out.

This tea tastes exactly like a chocolate-covered strawberry. If that's what you're looking for, you should try some. I'm not sure it's my personal cup of tea, though...

★★★★★

Okay. Such a pleasant surprise. I only bought it because it was on sale, and I'm a cheap gal, but this is actually wonderful. It tastes chocolaty at first, but unlike most chocolate teas which have a weird after taste---it's after taste is (unsurprisingly) STRAWBERRIES. Seriously so good. Also, it smells beautiful.

I really didn't care for the chocolatly flavors in this tea.

★★★★☆

Definitely tastes like chocolate covered strawberries, as advertised. I would say, however, that this is a 'Once in a long while' tea for me. Tasty, but a little too sweet and too specialized for a frequent tea choice.
