I didn't love this tea as much as I thought I would. It tasted almost 'plastic-y' at first. It got better the more it cooled down, but it still didn't have a strong flavor.

I've been drifting away from flavored/black teas but I think this one was true of its name and did taste and smell like chocolate and strawberries. A must try if you like those.
I was afraid to try this tea for a long time because I've not had good experiences with other chocolate teas. I'm so glad I got over my fear and tried this though. It is easily a new favorite and one I could drink several times a day! It really does remind you of a decadent chocolate covered strawberry. Add a little sweetener to this to bring out the chocolate flavor even more. Best brewed at boiling for 3 minutes with a second brew for 7 minutes.
I was worried that this might be too sweet and artificial tasting, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It's a subtle flavor, but it absolutely does taste like chocolate covered strawberries. The smell is stronger than the taste, and that's a good thing.
This is the first adagio tea i fell in love with. After all this time, i'm still loving it. The chocolate and the strawberries just mix so well. Don't be sparing when adding cream and sugar.

Yummy This tastes like chocolate dipped strawberries! The ceylon was an excellent choice for the base since it doesn't hide the chocolate tones.
The bitterness of this black tea ruins any appreciation for the chocolate covered strawberry flavors. I wish this could have a higher quality black tea as a base (as is common in most of Adagio's flavored blacks, imo).
I was really preparing myself for disappointment, but this tea was delicious! Paired with milk and sugar, this tea really did taste like a chocolate-dipped strawberry. Thanks for proving me wrong, Adagio!
Lovely, especially sweetened. The aroma is very chocolaty, but the flavors are very balanced.

Just received this today. I could smell it all day. It is so amazing. And the taste is just as good as the aroma!!! Love this tea!!!
Ehh. My first foray into flavored teas (here, via Adagio).
Flavor wise, the strawberry side of things is far too dominate for my taste. That, and decidedly artificial. I can`t say much for the 'natural chocolate' flavor either. (The after taste reminds me of one of those chocolate 'diabetic' candy lozenges my grandmother used to hand out after dinner at Christmas time.)
The tea itself (I believe it`s the Ceylon Sonata) is probably fine. I won`t order again. 3 stars only because so many others seem to like it.
This is truly one of the best teas I have ever tried. As others have mentioned, the strawberry and chocolate flavors are true and not artificial tasting. Excellent!!!
A very pleasantly sweet black tea. The combination of the strawberry and chocolate flavors is delicious with a little milk and sugar.
Just amazing. Definitely a new favorite! I think I will brew it with a bit more than 1 tsp per cup next time.
This tea was pretty good. Unfortunately it took quite a bit of sweetener to bring out the flavors of strawberry and chocolate, and at that point it was too sweet. Definitely only a desert tea.
This one did not disappoint. Smelled like a chocolate covered strawberry and with a little sugar, the chocolate came out and the subtle sweetness of the strawberry and fragrance of the rose petals... Definitely one to indulge the sweet tooth without all the calories!

While I personally prefer my own take on this flavour - Valentines has its good qualities. a bit too 'syrupy' for me, though.
Not my favorite tea ever. I think the scent from the bag put me off from the start. I've found I'm not the biggest fan of the flavored teas. I gave it over to my coworker who enjoys it far more than I do.
It tastes just like chocolate covered strawberries! The taste is strong for me, so I add a teaspoonful of both this tea and the cream tea to my teapot. It dampens the taste out a bit.
I love this tea. Wonderful tea that has some floral notes and chocolate as well.
I'm not usually a big dessert tea person, but this tea sounded too good to pass up. I wouldn't say that it tastes just like chocolate covered strawberries, but it is a wonderful, rich tea with a hint of strawberry and chocolate flavor. I like it with milk and a little honey.

I was so looking forward to this tea. I didn't disappoint. I would have given it a good not quite great rating if allowed...It needs a bit of cream for me to enjoy it, but most if not all chocolate teas seem to..
My fiance' thinks this tea is 'adorable' with the rose petals in it, as far as the taste we arent sure if we like it yet. Definitely had to have a tsp of sugar and a little cream. Without it, it was like biting into a rose. Maybe we brewed it too long though. We will keep trying it different ways till the sampler is gone, but I dont think we will be purchasing this again.

This tea has a fantastic aroma of chocolate strawberry. The taste was a little bitter when the tea was hot but when cooled slightly was very good.
My first cup I didn't like. It had a funny taste. I brewed second cup longer so it was ok.
I love this blend... it tastes just as described, like actual chocolate-covered strawberries! Usually, I'm very anti-caffeine, but this tea makes me want to make the occasional exception. I'm going to see if I can make my own decaf blend with the decaf Ceylon and some herbals.

There is something about this flavor blend that is just off. I noticed that I didn't like the smell of this tea in the bag but hoped the flavors would meld after steeping. Nope! I ended up throwing the sample away.
