The chocolate covered strawberries taste is there along with the Ceylon. The aroma is rich with the scent of rose petals though. Very romantic.

I've not had a lot of luck with flavored teas recently, but I took a chance on this one and loved it. It is quite a treat, with just a touch of milk and sugar. I would swap this for a strawberry/chocolate milkshake *most* days, savor it more and save the calories. I like it that well.
I also like the fact that it doesn't taste artificial to me, like a lot of adagios other flavored teas.
It smells exactly like chocolate covered strawberries. I was worried it would taste artificial, but the chocolate/strawberry flavor is pretty subtle. It's sweet enough that I can drink it black, which is nice.
It's been a fight to either dislike or like this tea. Starting with the smell, I'm a little put off by the kind of fake-ish strawberry smell. It kind of reminds me of candy. I know it's natural but it just doesn't remind me of real strawberries. It took me a while to brew it in a way to get it to taste like strawberries too. It's got the chocolate but I don't get the strawberry unless I steep it for at least 5 mins and add a little milk and sugar. I'm not saying it's a bad tea, I'm just saying this one is not for me...

I expected to taste more strawberry than chocolate. However I didn't get strawberry at all. If you are a fan of chocolate this is the tea for you. A very unique flavor, just not for me.
I love, love, love, LOVE this tea. I was hesitant at first to buy this tea, as I've had bad experiences with chocolate teas in the past. This one is totally different. The chocolate does not taste cheap at all and goes excellent with the strawberry and hints of rose. This tea is pretty great by itself, but it tastes excellent with milk added.
This is by far my favorite tea. I love the rose petals in it. It gives the tea a sophisticated look. The taste is excellent. With the chocolate in it, it literally tastes like a chocolate covered strawberry. The Adagio description is right on! Love this one all year round!
When I read everyone saying how much it tastes like a real chocolate covered strawberry I was skeptical, but they were all right! I barely have to add any sugar to bring out the sweetness.

I've had a few cups of this now and put the tea to the ultimate test the other night--I was craving dessert but tried this tea instead. Now, it doesn't replace ice cream or cake, but it certainly rose to the occasion to sooth my sweet tooth! I love the genuine strawberry taste with the hint of chocolate, it's delicious and I like the smell. I steep for 4 minutes for a bit of extra flavor.

Black teas are very much hit or miss for me particularly when they're flavored. Why? Because the tea can drown out the flavor or, if you're not careful, get brewed far too strongly. Wanting to really savor this tea, however, because of it's very unique ingredients, I brewed it for four minutes (and the next day tried another cup at five minutes). And wow, this is fantastic! The black tea is the strongest thing, of course, but the chocolate, strawberries, and rose petals all make a great showing and combine in a way that rings out the richness of the chocolate, the sweetness of the strawberry, and the floral taste of the rose petals. Delicious! I would recommend blending with sugar, cream, or vanilla rooibos for those who want to experiment.
I bought a big bag when it was on sale for Valentine's and it was AMAZING. Absolutely delicious, so glad I have enough to last a while.

Such an appropriate tea for the holiday! The strawberry taste is fruity and not as masked by chocolate as I thought it would be. The rose petals are the perfect touch and don't add much to the flavor, but they are the perfect accent!
Wonderful smell, exactly like a chocolate covered strawberry. It's not fake at all, genuinely like a strawberry dipped in chocolate.
When I opened the sample bag of this tea I was a bit put off by the smell - the chocolate came off as a bit artificial. I brewed it and it tasted fine, but the smell continued to put me off. Next time I plan to try it with milk, and brew it a little while longer. Will update my review then.
disliked this tea at first but it has definitely grown on me. better when made in large batches. glad i bought the big bag after all.
Although I followed the recommended steeping time on the package, I highly recommend raising that by a minute or two if the flavour isn't strong enough. I found that 4-5 minutes was perfect for this tea. A comforting brew perfect with a spoonful of sugar.
I'm just having my first pot of this but I already must say I'm in love. It is a much lighter black tea than I was expecting but that's fine by me. it allows the chocolate and strawberry notes out more. All in all a delicious and sweet treat even without milk or sugar.

I'm not the biggest fan of the flavored teas, but I do like this. Be very careful not to over steep it though. Three minutes is really the maximum time you should let it sit.
Mmm, Adagio's wonderful strawberry flavoring really shines in this. I wish the chocolate was a little better/stronger, perhaps with cacao nibs or shells, but the rose petals were an excellent touch.
This tea has a wonderful flavor and a great aftertaste! I got this for my boyfriend for valentine's day as his two favorite flavors are strawberry and chocolate. He loved this as well! It is a warming tea that is wonderful to drink with a date :).

This tea was OK, but not for me I think. While I could taste both the chocolate and strawberries, the chocolate tasted artificial to me and I couldn't get past it.
This is good, although the chocolate flavor isn't as strong as I would like. I tend to enhance it with either chocolate syrup, or, if it's been a particularly trying day, a little Irish Cream liquor. Definitely one to add milk and sugar to. A good dessert tea.
I got this in my first order and made my husband a cup. He said it was the best tea he's ever had. It smells wonderful and tastes amazing.
It looks pretty, and it smells great, but I'm just not crazy about this one. I've tried it with a little sweetener, a lot of sweetener, milk, no milk. I just can't make it work. The flavors don't assert themselves over the tea and the whole thing becomes muddled.

This is an absolutely delicious strawberry chocolate tea. It is good straight up or, if you add a little sugar, the strawberry flavor is more pronounced making it even better, in my opinion. Be careful to not over steep your cup, or the tea will taste more astringent and bitter.
I wanted to love this given the flavor profile - chocolate! strawberry! - but I just couldn't. I tried several brew temperatures and steep times but couldn't coax more than a hint of strawberry out of the blend.

Valentine's tea smells and tastes exactly like you'd expect Valentine's ay to - it's fruity, but the chocolate provides a nice aftertaste to the strawberry.
This tea is addictive in its own right. It's sweet from the chocolate while having acidic notes from the fruityness of the strawberry. It's so delicious that I {almost} don't miss dessert.
The aroma in the bag is intense, yummy, and a bit overwhelming. The aroma in the cup is much more delicate, a beautiful symphony of tea, rose, berry, and chocolate. I could close my eyes and imagine I was in a confectioner's shop. The berry is at the forefront when it comes to flavor. The chocolate is very subdued. I caught a bit of rose in the background. This tea is good anytime, but would make a great dessert tea.
Honestly not as flavorful as I expected it to be based on others' reviews. I couldn't really taste much strawberry but there was a bit of chocolate in there. Maybe my palate isn't refined enough for such tastes :P

I had this tea with sweetened condensed milk and while it was good it was not my favorite of the four teas I bought in my order. It does taste a bit chocolatey, but I don't quite get 'chocolate covered strawberry' from it.

I was really excited for this tea, and it did not disappoint after trying it both iced and hot, I can tell you I like it both ways I just decided that I needed to brew it stronger for my tastes.
