This is very much a dessert tea. The flavor of chocolate stands out the most, but you can definitely taste the strawberry. I was suprised I liked this tea as much as I did. I typically don't like flavored black teas, but this one was a big exception.

★★★★☆

My entire shipment of tea smells like chocolate and strawberries because of this one tiny sample! (not that I'm complaining of course, it smells wonderful) When I took my first sip, I wasn't too sure... the taste was a little weak. However, as the tea cooled down, the taste grew stronger- It's so delicious I'm going to have to make myself another pot!

Drinking this right now and it is absolutely fabulous. It has a ton of flavors without being at all overwhelming. Slightly chocolatey with a hint of the strawberry. It feels very Valentines! I think I'll be buying more.

★★★★☆

This is really good and just as described. I'm not a fan of the chocolatey flavor, though, and would prefer a stronger strawberry.

★★★★★

Subtley sweet with a shimmer of chocolate covered strawberries. Great if you want to satisfy a craving without eating sweets (more so if you don't add cream or sugar). I'm rather fond of using the delightfully rich sweetened condensed milk in chicory coffee, and I intend to try it in this too for a decadent delight. :)

★★★★★

As a diabetic I'm suppose to avoid anything sweet and this is the perfect replacement for my chocolate strawberry cravings.

★★★☆☆

It was an okay tea, overall. The taste wasn't really what I expected, though. Even the scent was a little off. It was okay, though.

★★★★★

Very sweet, and very aromatic, and soothes the throat nicely. Taste similar to hocolate strawberrys as it says it does. nother tea I recommend whole-heartedly.

This tasted like candy. It smelled amazing and even my husband, who hates tea, thought it tasted good. The chocolate smelled really strong in the bag, but was not overpowering once brewed.

★★★★☆

This is wonderful with cream and sugar. I love the hints of chocolate and strawberry.

★★★★★

Wow this is perhaps my new favorite tea from Adagio. I don't think I've ever had a tea taste so much like a chocolate-covered strawberry in my entire life. The aroma straight from the bag is wonderfully sweet and the brew itself is perfect with a bit of sugar and milk, though I'm going to try drinking it straight soon. :)
E IT: It's my second day drinking this tea and it's still good. I might be addicted.

★★★★☆

This is a strong black tea and you can definitely taste the chocolate hints!

★★★★☆

This tea was good, but the chocolate flavor was a bit overwhelming. It was too bitter and almost completely masked the strawberry.

★★★★★

I am drinking it right now with no milk and no sweetener (something I usually don't do with black teas) and I can honestly say it tastes exactly like black tea mixed with chocolate strawberries. I was kind of worried while brewing it, though, because the strawberry smell was a bit overpowering. However, the flavor has a good balance of tea and chocolate strawberry. The tea is sweet on its own so you don't really need to sweeten it, although I'm sure milk and honey would make a nice addition.

It tastes and smells just like a chocolate covered strawberry! Wonderful with cream and sugar. It is pretty rich, so not for every day.

★★★★★

Prominent aromas of chocolate and strawberry while brewing. The strawberry taste is slightly lacking, so a dash of strawberry preserves helps.

★★★★★

This one is fantastic. It smells absolutely wonderful and the blend itself is exceedingly pleasing. I'd like a little more strawberry flavor, but it's delicious as it stands. The chocolate isn't overpowering- it's there, but subtle enough that it just blends with the other elements of the tea.

I've had a cup every night since I got it. I add a splash of milk usually, but I also like it without! 1 /1 , would order again. urrently my favorite.

This tea was pretty much perfect. It was the perfect Valentines ay tea and I adored it. It really does taste like chocolate covered strawberries.

★★★★★

I adore this tea. Out of the bag it smells like a fresh, chocolate dipped strawberry. Brewed it smells even stronger. A little sugar and milk and it becomes creamy and sweet with a tart strawberry finish. I'll be ordering this again!

For trying a tea from Adagio for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was! The aroma is wonderful

★★★★★

This tea is delicious. It has the most delightful flavor of chocolate-covered strawberry while still retaining a good black tea flavor. I've only had one cup so far, and I can already tell this is going to become one of my most favorite tea flavors.

This was a real hit at my house! Everyone seemed to love the taste and most everyone enjoyed the smell as well. Even people who aren't typically black tea drinkers or fans of flavor thought this blend was pretty good. It's just all around pleasing to drink.

when I opened the packet the aroma was heavenly. After it was ready to drink the flavor was good, but no where near what it had once smelled like.

I did not think it tasted anything like chocolate covered strawberries. It's not a bad flavor at all but I just don't taste the flavor it is supposed to be. I do taste a hint of a berry sweetness in the tea which is very nice.

★★★★★

very tasty, smooth with just a hint of chocolate - smells strong and not really pleasant, but the taste is completely different

★★★☆☆

This tea smells amazing. It's like sniffing a fancy plate of chocolate covered strawberries. However, for me, it tasted a bit bitter. It might just be the rose petals in it, since I don't care for floral teas. dding milk and some sugar really helped calm that bitterness down though.

Interesting. So very, very interesting. I expected to NEED milk with this tea (as I do with most teas that involve chocolate), but even on its own it has a very unusual and lovely flavor. Slightly earthy and dark from the chocolate, with the strawberry coming in around the edges of your mouth. The two marry together just after you swallow. With milk, the chocolate logically becomes less dark, but the strawberry is also less pronounced (though I imagine sugar would help with that).

I'd like to play around with this tea more--steep it longer, experiment with milk and sugar. I think I can move it from an intriguing cup to a really yummy one. This will never be an everyday tea for me, but I'm quite happy I've tried it.

In the bag this blend is delightfully fragrant with dark chocolate and ripe strawberries. Once brewed I didn't find it quite so fragrant but it still smells quite nice. I'd give it three stars when trying it black (I could taste both chocolate and strawberry notes but felt they were a bit weak and the taste didn't linger at all), but four stars after adding some sweetener and a splash of milk. The flavor is definitely reminiscent of chocolate covered strawberries, and the rose petals are a nice touch. This is not a tea I see myself drinking regularly, but rather as a nice occasional treat.

To me the scent was really overwhelming when I first opened the bag, quite artificial in quality and reminding me of the Tootsie Roll chap stick I had when I was a kid. It soon mellowed out however, and deepened to a very pleasant sweetness. Brewed, the tea is soft and definitely tastes of chocolate and strawberries. Normally I'm not fond of anything floral in my tea but the rose petals are just subtle enough to work.

Valentines tea was a spur of the moment choice, a sort of luxury I decided to allow myself on a passing fancy. The deep cocoa smell and taste was something I'd been craving ever since February started, and the need for chocolate has all but subsided into a daily yearning. It gave me the very impression of last Valentines, when my sister sent a box of chocolate covered strawberries to our nana, and I indulged in stripping the chocolate off and saving the strawberry for last. This was what the tea gave to me, and it is certainly something I will be enjoying on my lonely Valentines evening, as there is no better company than a cup of tea.

Nice and dessert-y for all times of the day. It's sweet without being overpoweringly so, making it a great anytime treat.

★★★★★

This tea sounded so good I had to get a sample. I received it today and the smell was absolutely delicious so I was excited to taste it. It is great! Tastes just like a chocolate covered strawberry but isn't too overpowering or too sweet. Highly recommended!!

★★★★★

I enjoyed this loose tea I got, and I got one in teabags for my friends as a gift. Really nice, not to sweet, not to spicy, not to fruity, but just balanced and perfet!

★★★★☆

hocolate. Pink. Girly. Tasty. Not a huge favorite of mine but a great sweet treat to have in the midst of winter. It does not have a 'fake' strawberry taste to it and tastes like a real chocolate covered strawberry. I look forward to try this with a little cream. Excellent tea to go with a Valentines ay theme. It's like a sweet desert! The smell is in incredible!

★★★☆☆

I'm glad that I got a sample and it was free. I had wanted to try it and I can see why others like it, but it wasn't that interesting for me. Too sweet.

Exactly what I like for a night in with the cat.

Perfect for the season! It definitely tastes like a chocolate covered strawberry, but it isn't a particularly heavy or strong tea. I really enjoy it in the afternoon/early evening.

This tea is surprisingly delicious. I am always wary of strawberry anything in teas. But, it's subtle enough and takes a back burner to the chocolate and the tea taste. I had it plain before I added milk, sugar, honey. I like it. And now I'm going to play around with it.

This tea smells like a box of chocolates. (Honestly, I just want to sit and smell the unbrewed leaves - it's that wonderful.) The taste isn't as powerful as the scent though, but it still has really nice chocolatey undertones.

★★★★☆

I bought the sample, but I am definitely coming back for more. It smells exactly like chocolate covered strawberries, and is nearly good enough in taste to replace the real thing

★★★☆☆

Pretty good cup of tea, however I do think that it smelled better than it tasted. The smell was divine! The black tea was a little strong for my taste, but it was good all the same!

★★★★★

The flavors are really well-combined. It tasted exactly like a chocolate-covered strawberry. It tastes amazing. The chocolate came out so much that my boyfriend thought I had hot chocolate instead of tea!

★★★★★

This my favorite tea from this site. It has a great flavour, I have no complaints with it. You can taste the chocolate flavour for sure!

★★★★★

Ordered a medium sized bag last valentines, this year its a full sized bag. Big hit with the visitors.

★★★★★

I love this tea! The chocolate and strawberry flavors are strong but not overpowering and taste like the real thing. As would be expected, it needed to be sweetened pretty heavily to bring out the best of the flavors. Definitely a dessert tea but definitely delicious!

★★★★★

REALLY tastes like strawberries and chocolate!! Good without cream/milk, even better with it :)
