I really wanted to like this tea. I think it is the chocolate flavor. I have the same problem with my own moon pie blend which includes a chocolate layer. Both improve a bit with milk and sugar.

★★★★☆

I enjoy making Chai with this tea. It's just OK by itself though.

★★★☆☆

I have yet to find a chocolate tea that I really love, and this one is no exception. I'd drink it again if offered, but I probably wouldn't buy it again. The chocolate teas I like best have at least a hint of mint in them. Obviously, this one does not have that.

★★★★☆

A little on the sweet side but sometimes that's exactly what you need. I don't drink this tea often as I don't have much but on those occasions when I really need to satisfy my sweet tooth its perfect.

The strawberry was a little weak, but, the chocolate was not overpowering and the rose was light and perfect. Sweet on it's own, a splash of vanilla soy milk only made it better. I'm sad I just ran out but I plan on getting more for sure.

For me, I could more smell the strawberry aspect than taste it. What I did taste was a black tea with a nice chocolate aftertaste. But the smell alone was fantastic.

★★★★★

Somewhat sweet and has a chocolatey goodness to it!

★★★★☆

I liked this tea a bit better than the straight up chocolate chip. It has less bitter/lighter taste, and the hint of strawberry acts as a balance to the chocolate. I added sugar and some milk to mine, and drank it hot. A good dessert tea, but probably will not become one of my favorites.

★★★☆☆

Not quite what I was expecting. There isn't really a chocolate taste. It tastes more like a frozen strawberry.

★★★★★

I absolutly love this tea it actually tastes like chocolate stawberries. Its like sucking up happiness in a cup.

★★★☆☆

This tea disappointed me. I expected great things but it has a strange faint rotten fruit smell to it. Stick with plain strawberry.

★★★☆☆

The tea is good, but definitely something I would only drink when I have a craving for something like it. It's not in my daily tea rotation, but it's still good when you're in the mood for it! It does taste like a chocolate covered strawberry!

★★★★★

I really liked this one! Didn't taste as strongly strawberry as it smelled, but that's all right because it smelled really strongly of strawberry. Currently one of my favorite black teas.

★★★☆☆

This was not my cup of tea--pun intended.

The smell in the bag is like DAMN SON DAMN sticking your nose into a heart-shaped box of chocolates.

In the cup, this tea is really, really sweet. Like obscenely. No sugar needed, and it probably tastes like a desserty dream with any kind of milk. dairy, nondairy, whatever--just be careful of adding a flavored milk because with all the other action happening in the mug, your palate just might explode. This is a dessert tea to the core. The only reason you'd drink this is because you missed out on the actual heart-shaped box of chocolates for Valentine's Day and now you're making it up to yourself because you deserve it, dangit. If any tea will make you forget you're drinking hot, steeped leaf matter, it's this one. Very escapist. The artificial aftertaste really brings home the box of chocolates metaphor, as it gets you thinking of the Valentine's gifts you'd find at your local drugstore, wrapped in red or pink cellophane with a plastic rose glued on top. Sugar addicts will fall in love with this tea, but the rest of us may find better satisfaction with an actual box of chocolate.

★★★★☆

This tea didn't seem to be anything special. It wasn't bad, really, it's just not something I'm likely to order again.

★★★★★

Yum! It has a rich wonderful chocolate and hint of strawberry taste. I added vanilla soy milk wonderful!

★★★★★

really nice and creamy and the rose just adds so much to it.

This tea seems quite bland to me. with some sugar and cream it is drinkable but otherwise I cannot tell what flavors are supposed to be in it.

I think the first time I made this tea I over-steeped it a bit, but the second time around it was lovely. I drank it with a touch of honey to bring out the sweetness and some milk. The flavor was lovely and dessert-y, perfect way to start a lazy Sunday.

★★★★☆

pretty good considering cost. Got this as a free sample with an order and was surprised at the amount of flavor. It's worth a shot.

★★★★★

Mmmm, this tea is tasty! I personally got more of the chocolate flavor than the strawberry, but the strawberry is definitely present. It's especially good with a little bit of added sweetener. If you like sweet dessert teas, you should definitely try this one!

A little honey helped bring out the sweeter notes. I was very happy it tasted like a natural tea and not fake chocolate or overwhelmingly artificial.

★★★★☆

Pretty tasty. Could've used a little more of the various flavors and a little less of the black tea. It's good with something fruity to add to it, like a bit of fruit juice or even jam.

This is a delicious tea, sweet with cocoa flavors and berry flavors. Rose petals in the mix add a nice touch to the romance. Hits that dessert craving in tea form.

I really like this tea! It has a light chocolate-covered strawberry flavor. It's enough to fulfill my cravings.

It tastes like candy! Delicious, fruity, chocolate candy.

★★★★☆

the strawberry flavor is authentic, not artificial tasting like most fruit teas, but it was a little too fruity for my taste. if you like fruity tea you will love this

★★★★★

I'm not usually a fan of chocolate tea. It always seems a little off. That said, this is one of my favorite hot teas for a cold night. The chocolate/ strawberry flavor is offset by rose leaves and black tea. It's a full bodied cup with a sensual sweet flavor and a delight to the nose.

Chocolate-dipped strawberry, straight up. Even though the tea is warm, the strawberry flavor is still very cool and fresh. Like picking a strawberry ripe from the field and dipping it in melted chocolate.

another one of my favs, perfect for valantines, yummmm

★★★★☆

This tea's aroma was very heady - exactly that of strawberries drenched in chocolate. The flavor of the tea was more subtle, with the strawberry being more prominent in my cup. In the aftertaste however, the chocolate taste does linger. I did let mine steep for about an extra minute and a half to make it stronger.

★★★★☆

I love the way it smells, but I felt like the taste wasn't very exciting on its own? It could just be me, though. I brewed about 1.5 tsp/cup, and it was lovely once I added cream and brown sugar.

★★★★★

Neither the strawberry or the chocolate was too strong. When brewing I added a few bits of rock sugar in and it tasted great!

4 min steep · 212°F

★★★★☆

Love it with a bit of rock sugar from that other tea place. It was a bit bland and heavy on the black tea without the bit of sugar, but the chocolate and strawberry came out to play with the added sweetness.

Sooo tasty! It has the nice strawberry fruity taste, but it isn't too strong. It's the perfect amount of everything and smells wonderful.

This blend was definitely something different from what I normally drink so I was a little unsure of this tea at first. I've come to dislike having sugar in my tea, but in this blend it really brings out the subtle sweetness. Add a little bit of milk, and this tea really is like a hug in a mug.

★★★★★

I had high hopes for this tea because of its ratings, and it definitely is really good. It's sweet without being cloying or artificial and the chocolate gives it depth. Plain, I taste the chocolate more. but some sugar and milk brings out the sweet strawberry. I find that drinks named after foods rarely live up to the taste of the food, and while I didn't find this to be a liquid chocolate strawberry, the flavor is near enough that I do plan to keep it in my tea roster.

I absolutely love this tea! It is one of my favorites. It tastes really great all by itself - no need for sugars or honey, and the way it smells is absolutely superb! Definitely a treat to have

This tea, putting it mildly,is amazing. It makes an excellent tea latte.

★★★★★

Don't let the potent and misleading aroma fool you - everyone that's mentioned it before is right. This absolutely tastes like chocolate covered strawberries. Perfect for curbing sweet tooths or that desire to taste rather than to eat something. Even tastes great using the microwave rather than boiling the water.

★★★☆☆

My Partner loved this tea. I found it a bit artifial tasting, but nice if not overbrewed.

★★★☆☆

This was actually one I did not like. Maybe I'm not a chocolate tea fan? Was kinda like watered down chocolate milk. Hmm?

★★★★★

Full-bodied black tea. The strawberry scent and flavor really come through. Try this mixed with Vanilla black tea, or add vanilla creamer, for a full-flavored treat that chases away those sweet cravings!

★★★★★

I've tried this tea in blends, but now I got to try it on it's own. This is such a great and enjoyable tea, from the aroma in the bag to the very last sip. The chocolate smell just draws you in, so this is fantastic for anyone who loves chocolate!

It's exactly as you'd expect! Chocolate teas are a favorite of mine, except sometimes they have an odd aftertaste, but the strawberry and rose flavors definitely take care of that! very good, will buy again

★★★★★

My most favorite tea! It tastes just like a chocolate strawberry without overpowering the tea.

★★★★☆

This tea can end up being very dark if not steeped correctly (though it depends on how black you tend to like your tea.) Personally, I think it's best with milk (or light cream) and sugar, which really helps focus in on the rose in the blend.

I completely forgot that I got this as a free sample. I heard so many good reviews on it that I feel like I had my hopes up a little too much. It's still good though, don't get me wrong! It does smell like chocolate covered strawberries, but I felt like I couldn't only really taste the chocolate. Either way, still good! Great as a healthier substitute instead of actually eating chocolate when you get a sudden craving.

*Update - I have fallen in love with this tea. I have added milk and sugar to it now. The milk softens the floral flavor and highlights the chocolate strawberry flavors. I also reduced the time, following the instructions to a tee. Don't let it steep over the 3 minute mark, or it will end up taking on the potent floral flavor I really dislike. Now it tastes exactly like I wanted it to taste!

I really wanted to love this tea. The description of chocolate covered strawberries had my mouth watering. Then when I smelled it I was so excited. But, the flavor of the rose petals were so overpowering that I just hated it. So sad :( If you are a fan of herbal teas you may like this. I however, don't like floral teas. So, it's just not for me.

This is by far my favorite black tea. It delivers exactly the taste they say it will, and more!
