It's chocolate with the fragrance of roses. A truly delicious cup. Something to enjoy on an evening just relaxing. It becomes a desert if you really think about it.

Not sure where the chocolate covered strawberry is in this tea. Smells very pleasantly chocolatey when dry, but after brewing had more of an herbal/Chinese-medicine-like aroma, with just a whiff of chocolate. Too bad the herbal scent just overwhelms everything.
I adore this tea. The mix of chocolate, strawberry, and roses makes for a wonderful start to my day

Wow you can definitely taste the chocolate in this one. It's really the overarching note for me when I drink the tea. You get small notes of sweetness coming through from the strawberries too, but I do have to admit I can't taste the rose at all, so I assume it's there for perfume more than anything.
This tea is delicious iced or hot. Personally, I prefer brewing it with boiling water in a pot, having a cup, and then cooling the rest in the refridgerator. You get the most of the chocolate flavor that way, as opposed to brewing it cold overnight.
I have long been on the search for a chocolate tea that I can love and have as a healthier treat when I'm craving it. My search had finally come to an end with this tea. It is absolutely perfect! I mixed it with cream and it took it to a whole other level or deliciousness!
This may sound weird, but if I had to describe this tea in one word, i would describe it as 'Adorable.' I love the smell! It really does smell like chocolate covered strawberries, and it blows my mind constantly whenever I smell it. The chocolate in my sample bag seemed a little mild once brewed, but I brought it right out when I added my usual milk and sugar. It really is a delicious tea, and calorie free? Adagio, you had me at 'fresh-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries.'
I enjoy this cup, though there is a lot going on in it. It would be better without quite as much strawberry, but the rose plus the cocao nibs are lovely with black tea.
This is a yummy tea for when you want something chocolatey!

Definitely needs some kind of milk or cream to be stirred in. The first time I tried this, the rose flavor was really overwhelming in a not totally great way. I put some vanilla soy milk in my second cup and the chocolate and strawberry flavors I'd been looking forward to came through more.
I think I thought this would have a much stronger chocolate flavor than I got out of it. Brewing it an extra 4 minutes helped with that, but the tea turned bitter on my warmer quicker than usual. : Think I'll just have to experiment.

Shockingly mellow and subtler than expected, the taste of chocolate covered strawberries in this cup are accurate and delicious, while never being too much. The taste of the black tea behind it actually does very well to accentuate the sweetness of the chocolate and berry notes, as well. A very romantic and pleasing cup.
I love the flavor is this tea and I love using this in my blends. Always a favorite
This smells really really good out of the bag, and looks super-pretty too. The strawberry and chocolate and vanilla all work well together, and make for a well-balanced cup. I like this tea a lot.
This is definitely a great tea. I get a lot of the berry flavor, but not overwhelmingly so. Usually, chocolate flavors tend to take over in tea. However this one was perfectly balanced, so it really did taste like a chocolate covered strawberry! Typical steeping for this one.
(Also, It blends fantastic with tiger eye, believe it or not)
You do not realize how excited I was to get this. Even before I brewed it, it smelled fantastic. Once steeped, I didn't even have to add any sugar! I was super excited about that. This blend? Quickly my favorite.
I bought this sample to include in a gift bag for a teacher on Valentines day. Made a very cute gift given the name and she said she loved it. Update: I bought another sample for myself to try. I was worried about rose petals being the second ingredient, but fortunately I didn't get any rose in the flavor. The chocolate and strawberry are both equally subtle with the black tea still present. It is not strongly sweet like some desert teas.
Eh. I think I may have not steeped it enough, but the taste just wasn't there. It smelled like cough syrup, and tasted like plain black tea. I will try again later, and see if I can perfect it, but I will not order again.
This tea was the first for me to taste from this website and it was great! The smell is heavenly and I couldn't pull the cup from my mouth. The taste is wonderful and I drank 3 cups consecutively! After my friends had me taste the tea, I couldn't stop. I definitely will buy bags and bags of this!
This smells heavenly, and tastes wonderfully. I can taste the chocolate perfectly. It's sweet and, and works great with milk too, which is how I like my black tea. One of my favourites.
I prepared this per the instructions and added some sweetener and skim milk. It's quite pleasant. You do get both the chocolate and strawberry flavors. It's a nice dessert tea and the price is right.
Tasted of chocolate tea and not much else. I got hints of fruit that didn't really come through as strawberry. Very rich and great when your sweet tooth is calling!

Pretty good hot, especially with sugar and milk. Nice dessert tea when in the mood for something sweet. Got mostly a rose flavor with a hint of chocolate, not any strawberry flavor though.
I wasn't a big fan of this tea when served hot. However, add a little honey and milk and throw over ice? Perfect. Hot and in the bag it smells like a fresh-from-the -over chocolate baked good. Pouring over ice gives you a cool, creamy cup of just that.
This is my ALL TIME favorite flavored tea! Chocolate, rose petals AND strawberries combined with smooth black tea makes for such a yummy treat! Just watch your steep times, as with all adagio's flavored blacks the Ceylon base can get a little bitter if you oversteep. I love mine with a tiny bit of sugar and a splash of vanilla soy!
_Update_ I started drinking this tea in 2010, it's now 2013 and I still enjoy it and have reordered more times than I can count.
I expected this to be a lot sweeter because of the strawberries, but unfortunately I didn't get a lot of the strawberry flavor in my cup. I'm wondering if my infuser isn't letting enough of the flavor through...I did get the chocolate notes, though, and with cream it was a treat.
I didn't quite get the chocolate covered strawberries that most people have said, but it is no doubt a delicious tea. The few cups I've had were enjoyable, but still had a bit of funkiness to them that I couldn't get past. The smell of the blend is definitely better than the cup.
After hearing great things about this blend from others, I decided to pick up a sample and try it for myself. Needless to say, I was not disappointed! As advertised, it tastes just like chocolate-covered strawberries, making it the perfect way to satisfy my sweet-tooth when I want a treat.
This is fantastic! It is very much as described, chocolate and strawberry. I was a bit skeptical upon opening the package and smelling it, but it did not disappoint! I would highly recommend this tea.
Nice delicate taste of strawberries and chocolate. Provides a decadent flavor in any blend. Be carefully though, any steep time past 3 min and 30 sec tends to make it bitter.
A nice black tea with hint of strawberry and a finish of chocolate. Really nice if you don't steep it too long - gets really strong the longer it sits and then the black tea and chocolate show up in force.
Extremely strong aroma just from opening the bag, the tea itself kept the pleasant, although a bit overwhelming, scent as well. Definitely tasted hints of the rose petals and strawberry, but the chocolate 'flavor' was not a hit with me. My girlfriend enjoyed this tea much more than me however, and it remains one of her favorites.
I did not expect this tea to be as wonderful as it is. On it's own it is slightly sweet, the chocolate and strawberry are equally balanced. This tea is surprisingly strong however, I personally like that but if you are looking for a lighter tea this is not for you. update: I found that mixing this with cream tea makes it even more amazing!
What an amazing combination of flavors! What amazes me the most is how the strawberry taste is more real than artificial, which was I was most afraid of when I bought a sample of this. It's not overpowering and combining it with a dark chocolate aftertaste, leaves your sweet tooth satisfied. Great with a splash of milk!
I liked this tea enough to drink it again, but I didn't love it. First of all, I have to make myself clear: This is a dessert tea. I found that it was almost sickly sweet for me, at times. The original taste was good but did not have as much texture as I generally liked so I had to add milk and sugar. I drank the full cup and it was definitely delicious, but I would not drink this tea all the time (only once in a while). It is a particular taste and I definitely do not believe that everyone would like this tea.
I loved this tea a lot! It has a great chocolate-covered strawberry taste that is just really good. Adding milk makes it creamier, but this tea is very good on its own as well. Definitely will be reordering!

This is the perfect tea for winter time! It tastes a lot like the black raspberry tea, but also has small chocolate chips which add depth to the taste of the tea. I didn't like it at first, but fell in love with the taste the more I drank it.
Tastes fancy! This tea has a lot of components, and it sounds as if it's going to have a somewhat scattered taste, but the chocolate, berries and faint floral scent really come together. I like a respectable, workaday black tea, but there's also a place in my heart for a tea like this - giddy, ridiculous, delicious flavor.

When i opened the pouch, I was a bit put off by the odd aroma. However, once I brewed any first impressions vanished. It tastes exactly like chocolate covered strawberries, but isn't sickeningly sweet. The flavor is very soft and comforting, and everything balances out very well. Definitely adding to my favorites!
