This tea reminded me of a dark chocolate bar filled with creamy caramel. Not an every day sort of tea, it's quiet rich tasting but very good as a dessert sort of tea.

This tea reminded me of a dark chocolate bar filled with creamy caramel. Not an every day sort of tea, it's quiet rich tasting but very good as a dessert sort of tea.
A rich, sweet dessert tea all by itself. The balanced flavors make for something that very much reminds me of chocolate chip cookie dough.
This is definitely a smooth tea. The chocolate and caramel blend nicely, but I found that I caught the caramel more in the aroma and the aftertaste. For me, it was like drinking a cup of unsweetened chocolate.
This isn't a favorite, but I can certainly see the appeal, especially if you like your tea a touch strong. Personally, I'm more of an herbal girl m'self. Black teas always have a touch of bitterness - which you can taste in this brew. Still, at least try the sample. It's worth the effort.
*Update* I've found that I like this tea much more after it's allowed to cool down for a bit. The flavors soften up a bit and become more palatable.
This is AWESOME. There's something about this tea that just works...it has the perfect touch of chocolate and caramel mixed together. Great for blends and I can see a dash of cream and sugar really bringing the flavour out.
I think it is a bit bitter by itself, but I really love this tea in blends. The chocolate notes are perfect.
Absolutely amazing! It tastes just like a mocha-tea after adding some milk and sweetener. Also great plain if you like the dark chocolate flavor instead. The chocolate flavor is the most pronounced with the caramel giving it a boost, and just a hint of vanilla at the end. Definitely getting a big bag of this!
Great tea! It smelled great and tasted even better.
I thought this was an excellent tea. The chocolate and caramel flavor is delicious and strong. The smell of the leaves is a bit overpowering at first. For some reason it reminded me of coffee, but that may be just because I can only drink coffee that is mostly caramel and chocolate syrups. It didn't taste bitter at all and is sweet enough as is. I will definitely be buying more when I run out.
I loved this tea! The chocolate, caramel, and vanilla all blended together nicely to brew a nice sweet tea. When I opened the bag, the smell was a bit overpowering, but once brewed the smell was more mellow, but still smelled and tasted just as good. I had it black but it would probably go well with a little milk to make the flavor more creamy.
LOVE this. I was obsessed from the moment of my very first experiment with this tea.
I can't think of a way to describe Tiger Eye that is any better than Adagio's own description, so I'll just offer my personal testimony that I taste exactly what was advertised. Tiger Eye is rich and sort of buttery and vigorously delectable - not to mention a pretty robust *tea,* which is how I happen to like my tea. I've been working on using Tiger Eye in a blend, and it adds so much deliciousness to whatever it touches that I half want to try it crossed with, like, *everything.*
If you like dessert teas and can only pick one of Adagio's options to try, I say: make it this one - or Valentines. They're both terrific.
Smoother than I had expected, as black teas often taste bitter to me. But the chocolate and caramel notes carry the day. I now understand why so many use Tiger Eye in their blends.
Really love this tea! The smell and taste reminds me of a very bold, but smooth mocha. The caramel really comes out well while pairing up with a nice chocolate aftertaste. It's even made better as a desert tea with some milk and honey. YUM!
The flavors don't meld together very well to me. Not bad but I wouldn't purchase it again.
I was accidentally sent a second sample of this flavor but will quickly work my way through both! It's sweet and rich and perfect any time of day with some milk.
This is an awesome dessert type tea. It has a wonderful sweet, smooth taste with a splash of milk. No sweetner needed!
I could not get over the smell of this tea. I tried it twice. both times the hot tea smelled like cigarettes and maple syrup.
Okay, I'm a little impressed. Most chocolate teas I've tried have been 'meh' at best, but the chocolate in this one wasn't even approaching too artificial or sickly sweet. It even smells a bit like coffee beans when it's brewing, and the caramel is sooo nice and adds a great richness. Try blending one part tiger eye and one part coconut tea for an even better cuppa.
A very interesting tea. Not for everyday, but when I'm in a deep-thinking, mysterious mood.
This tea is freakin delicious! The chocolate and caramel aren't very overpowering and blance nicely with eachother. Best brewed very strong!
This tea immediately made me think of coffe. Very BOLD taste. It tasted like a unsweetened mocha coffee(With some sweetener in it no less). Couldn't taste the caramel at ALL. But a spash of milk and a bit more sweetener and omg it's like a dessert in my mouth. I love this tea, so yummy!
i had to wait for a while for it to become available, but so worth the wait, really good
A sweet, really amazing tea blend. Perfectly smooth and chocolatey, it reminded me of the valentines blend.
This is by far my favorite black tea flavor. You can taste the carmel, vanilla and chocolate. They're blended together perfectly so one does not overpower the other.
It's the perfect morning blend!
This tea is perfectly warm and comforting, I love the caramel undertones!
Smells FANTASTIC right out of the bag. Brewed it for the recommended time, and while it was good, it wasn't quite as strong as I thought it'd be. I might try steeping it for a little long next time, but yeah. Definitely a good tea, though.
I actually did not drink this tea myself, but bought it as a 'tea gift' for two of my co-workers to share. They both liked it so much they had me buy them more.
I wish this tasted a little more caramel-y, but I still really liked it. Mixed with Thai Chai it tastes like coconut macaroons.
Another one of those teas that tastes okay, but smells so terrible I can't really stand drinking it. I'm thankful I only bought a sample, and this one will probably go the way of it's predecessor - in the garbage because the odor permeates my entire tea box.
This is the perfect desert tea. It tastes very caramelly with just the right amount of chocolate mixed in.
This is my first tea that I have tried from Adagio, and I have to say I'm impressed. It is exactly as described. I found that adding sweetener really brought out the flavors, and would suggest using it if you want the full experience of this tea. I think that it is a great tea, especially for the price.
The quintessential dessert tea. Decadent but not sweet [unless sweetened, in which case it's just as delicious]. A perfect dessert tea. Or even breakfast tea, because you should always have dessert first. :]
I absolutely love this tea! It's got the perfect mix of chocolate, caramel, and molasses. One of my new favorites, and I'll definitely be buying more!
I really enjoy this tea. It's the perfect blend of caramel and chocolate.
I got this tea as a free add on and I'm not surprised it was free. Some might like it but every time i took a sip all i was tasting was bad chocolate. good or bad i think chocolate doesn't belong in tea.
The smell when you open the bag was to me straight on chocolate. I tried it 'neat' and I found it sweet but it really came to life when I added milk and a tad bit of sugar. I got distinct taste of chocolate, vanilla, and caramel with a creamy mouth feel. We all loved it.
I absolutely LOVE this tea. The smell it delicious straight out of the bag. After brewing the tea it still smells great. It's a very smooth tea and, unlike other flavored teas I've tried, it retains a lot of the chocolate and caramel flavors which work really well together.
After a second cup, I would say that this is great for a breakfast tea. The aroma of caramel and chocolate is strong enough to fill the air a little without being too overpowering and the ingredients are pleasantly distinct. I'm loving it so far, but for those that might think the tea too strong, it does work well with a non-dairy creamer (like many black teas.)
a little too...something. too sweet or too caramel-y or i don't know what. this was just ok for me dog
Tiger Eye smells wonderful in the package. It smells even more wonderful once you open the package. The tea is so good hot or warm (I tend to forget that I've made tea and it often gets drunk after it's cooled off). I will definitely be buying more when my first order runs out!
Tiger eye was one of those teas that when you open smell fantastic. Love, love the smell of the tea. However the taste did not live up to the smell and I found that disappointing. I tried it with plain, with sugar, with milk and sugar and even soy milk. So I at least gave it a chance. This will not be a tea I will be ordering again.
This is a lovely tea with just the right balance of chocolate, caramel and vanilla, making it a great replacement for dessert. :)
Really liked this. Very well named,a warm and exotic flavor. Will definatly get again.
I normally don't like flavored teas. They smell much better than they taste, but this tea actually has a good flavor. Not too strong, but the chocolate and caramel come through.
I loved this tea and, more importantly, so did my husband. It was nice scoop a blended flavor tea out of the bag without having to do the mixing yourself. (I do love making up my own blends, though)
I found that the chocolate comes out strongest in this. It reminds me of a fancy dark chocolate bar. But the more you sip, the more the vanilla and caramel come out. Kind of fun to have your tongue rotate through all the flavours! They're subtle, but there.
this is so good had to go back and buy more yep, delish
Smells awesome. it's like vanilla and caramel coming together in a perfect harmony. The taste on the other hand...meh. It's not very strong and pretty weak taste. You'd have to double the tea amount to get a good flavor from this.
I like this, but not sure I would order again. The tea tastes mainly of black tea and chocolate, but the aftertaste is a wonderful one of both caramel and chocolate.
Oh my, some great TIGER EYE Tea you guys created. made some and its so wonderfully wonderful good tasting. Will be buying a bigger bag next time. You guys got 10 stars from me.

Decadent, delightful, my new favorite dessert tea. The smell is intoxicating but none of the flavors are overpowering, and they work quite well in a black tea (my personal preference.) Tea itself is not at all weak and serves as a lovely accompaniment to a nice fudgy brownie.
