Transported me to a county fair, with the scent of fried dough and other sweet treats around. This tea tastes EXACTLY like a bag of kettle corn. There's nothing else to say except that it's a great substitute - plus, no kernels get struck in your teeth!

Oh, this had so much potential.
Caramel and chocolate- this is the kind of tea that should pack a delicious and decadent punch, but it was just... meh.
I've never been in love with Adagio's caramel. The first time I bought it was immediately after they switched to bags, and I've always sort of blamed it on that- the teas never smell right to me in the bags, and the caramel just isn't strong enough to hold it's own against them. It's even more lackluster when it's brewed. I love Adagio's chocolate, but it was also never strong enough for me, and I have since forsaken it for their newer chocolate chip, which seems to have bridged the gap- but it appears they used the regular chocolate for the Tiger Eye.
The idea of the blend is mouth watering, and I suppose I was hoping the weakness of its stand alone counterparts was just down to my own lame brewing skills, but unfortunately, it seems that it is the tea itself.
The blend smelled lovely,if subtle, and the resulting brew was essentially the same. A bit weak. not bad, but not much to write home about either.
I would love to see Adagio re-evaluate their caramel. I think they've already remedied their chocolate issue with the chocolate chip, so a better caramel, with the chocolate chip, would make this an excellent blend. Until then, I'll pass. There is a silver lining: I've had a tin of Adagio's 'Cream' flavored tea for eons and always thought it was too syrupy-sweet for my taste, but adding a pinch to the Tiger Eye in it's current form did perk things up, so if you're a fan of that, you might enjoy this with it.
If you're not a fan of super strong tea, you might be happy with this. With a bit of cream and sugar, it was not a bad cup of tea, so I'd suggest trying a sample before writing it off completely.
I brewed this with just-cooled from boiling water, for 3 minutes. I would avoid brewing too long, as it gets bitter fairly quickly.

Not my favourite tea. the flavours were hard to distinguish in the tea once brewed. Smells yummy, though~

Makes amazing breakfast drinks especially after my essential purchase of a milk frother.

This was the first tea I have ever tried and it was great! It was so good that I continued to order from adagio teas. It has a great taste and the after taste is just as wonderful. The flavor is very distinctive and it is great to serve to guests.

With a little milk and sugar it is like a nice light hot chocolate but without the chalkiness you sometimes get. Really pleasant way to start the day. Might be interesting to try it blended with Adagio's Oriental Spice.
★★★★★
Rich, smooth, and dark. Makes a lovely dessert tea. Steer clear in the morning, though. it's quite rich.

This is delicious. It smelled like coffee on opening the bag, which pleased me to no end, but when it brewed the caramel tones took center stage with the chocolate and vanilla harmonizing smoothly behind it. A sweet dessert tea that I am definitely going to get more of as soon as I can.
★★★★☆
Really sweet and yummy, had it sweetened with amber sugar in the store at Old Orchard. Tammy makes a mean cup of tea. I was looking for something sweet for fall, and it had really deep flavor while still being nice and sweet. Would probably also be good unsweetened or with a little cream.
★★★★☆
Smells absolutely fabulous, especially while it's brewing. It isn't as sweet as you would think when you make it, but with a little sugar it's absolutely delicious. I love it in the afternoons while I'm reading.
★★★★★
Sweet and quite good, according to my husband. Has a cinnamon vanilla flavor.

So when I opened this tea it smelled VERY sweet of caramel, chocolate and vanilla, after brewing it had a similar aroma, I was excited to try it... This tea tastes like chalk, I tried adding sweetener and that made it taste like sugary chalk. Not the slightest hint of chocolate or caramel at all. I tried different brewing temps, how long I steeped it and nothing, this tea is just gross... Maybe I got a bad batch or something but I certainly won't purchase any more. I'm Just glad I bought a sample!
★★★★☆
Too rich for an everyday tea, this is none the less a wonderful choice. I first had it in a few different blends I adore and figured I just had to have the unadulterated experience. I am so glad I did. It's smooth and rich and delightful. If I'm feeling especially decadent I'll add sweetened condensed milk or Irish Cream Liqueur to a cup.
★★★☆☆
Overall, I think this one's a bit strong for my taste - definitely very heavy notes of caramel and chocolate. If you like Adagio's black caramel tea, you'll absolutely love this one. it's not my personal cuppa, but I can definitely see the appeal.
★★★★★
I absolutely love the smooth flavor of this tea. It paired wonderfully with chocolate chip cookies.
★★★☆☆
Very strongly flavored. Perhaps too strong. While I do like the mocha notes, I don't like the sensory assault. Tea is supposed to be pleasing, not suffocating.
★★★★☆
I wasn't too sure about this tea at first, as it was very strong when I brewed it. I don't mind strong flavors, but something about it was just overwhelming. I like coffee, but the bitterness in this tea wasn't quite what I was looking for. I ended up putting in a bit more sugar and some milk into it to tone down the bitterness and it made it absolutely delicious.

I would recommend this tea to anyone. It is an excellent blend of flavors that has quickly made it a favorite.
★★★★☆
The chocolate and caramel notes are not very overt, and combined they turn into one subtle and interesting flavor. Nice on occasion, more likely to use as a base for a blend.

Super strong caramel in this one. I think it will be a winner when I start making my own blends!!
★★★☆☆
The smell of this tea is amazing. Very nice scent of caramel. Unfortunately, not much of this comes out in the steeped cup. It tastes mostly like plain black tea. Not bad, but I wish the amazing scents came through as flavors in the cup.

Delicious and full bodied. Well definitely order again.
★★★★★
Incredibly tasty tea. The chocolate is definitely more subtle than the smell implies. it reminds me a bit of bittersweet chocolate used for baking. The caramel sweetens it a bit. I liked tiger eye a lot, especially with a splash of milk! But be careful about brewing it for too long, as it can have a bitter aftertaste about it. It doesn't need to steep for very long before it's ready.

I really enjoy this tea on its own as well as for blending. It has a wonderful sweet richness to it.

I just received my first order from Adagio this afternoon. I opened several of the packages to smell the teas, and of the 10 varieties I'd gotten, THIS one smelled so good I had to brew a cup on the spot! WOW. Just wow. With a little raw agave and soymilk, it equals any of the fancy flavored coffees I've tasted. The flavor isn't too candy-like, just enough to feel like an indulgence. I will be purchasing a pound of this in the near future!
★★★★☆
I had kept hearing great things about this one. I gave it a try, and am kinda glad I did. You tasted both the tea and the flavor, which is normally a HUGE issue with the flavored teas here for me, as the teas seemed to usually be scented than flavored.

I expected to really like this tea from the description. It sounds exactly like something I would like a lot. When I opened the sample bag, I was skeptical about the smell. It strongly smelled very rich and kind of smokey, which I did not expect. I thought that maybe it just wouldn't suit me. When I brewed the tea, I found the flavor not to work well. The tea tasted weak itself and the flavor did too. I ended up with a really boring and kind of flavorless cup of tea. It also had a bitter aftertaste, but I think I may have over-brewed it. I will give this tea another chance with more tea per 8oz and cooler water or less time. I'm not entirely willing to give up on it. It was just... so boring and unsatisfying.
I dropped my rating on this one. I have tried to brew it four times now. The last three times, I dumped my tea after the first cup. I'm not super picky, so that is a big deal. I hate this tea. It tastes boring and also bitter. I taste none of the flavors described. I'm really upset, because I really like chocolate teas. This one is terrible.
I dropped the rating of this tea again. I brewed it a fifth time. I hated it. Finally, I threw the whole sample out. That is not like me at all. I LOVE chocolate teas, but I'm too afraid to try another one of Adagio's, as I HATED this tea. I'm very sad about it.

Very surprisingly chocolate-y flavor. Felt like I was almost drinking hot cocoa after I added milk. Delicious!

It smells heavenly with both the caramel and chocolate.

Very flavorful, almost has a kahlua taste to it.I used 1 teaspoon 212 temp.I am enjoying this tea very much. This is my second order its still nice and rich in flavor, nice eye opener in the morning.

This tea really surprised me. The taste reminds me of coffee candy. Now I can drink tea to satisfy coffee cravings.
★★★★★
Caramel and chocolate, what's not to love? I think I prefer this over the plain chocolate tea, the caramel adds a really nice layer.
★★★★☆
In theory this tea is an excellent idea, however it doesn't quite work the way I would like it to. For some reason I can only ever taste the caramel OR the chocolate, but I never taste them both in the same sip. It's good for when you can't decide whether you should drink chocolate or caramel.

This tea is great in nice cold mornings! It has a very rich flavor. Smells funny though.
★★★★★
I was not expecting to like this as much as I did! I went a little heavier with the tea (1 1/2 teaspoons) and a five-minute steep time, but the result was...wow! The cocoa is the strongest note, followed by the vanilla. I couldn't really taste the caramel, but I didn't mind. Won't be my every day tea, but this makes for a great once-in-a-while treat.

mmm. A very smooth and mellow tea. Great for when you want to treat yourself to a decadent treat.

I fell in love with it as soon as I opened the package to smell it. Amazing!
★★★★☆
It smells divine. Chocolate and black tea were the forefront flavors with a caramel backing. Caramel wasn't over powering which I liked. It's a bit rich so I can only have one cup before I want something else. If you've got a sweet tooth this is the tea for you.

Delicious. This tea helps quell mid-afternoon dessert cravings.

This tea tasted like a combination of vanilla, caramel, and chocolate. It also has a wonderful smell when the bag is opened. I preferred drinking it hot, but is okay iced.
★★★★★
Sweet, which I found lovely. Caramel and chocolate definitely prominent but not overpowering. Love it!

Ugh, this tea is absolutely fantastic. When I opened it, it smelled vaguely reminiscent of cookies, and when brewed, the hint of chocolate and caramel is perfect. 10/10 would recommend basically everyone should buy this
★★★★★
Tastes just like advertised. I brewed at a lower temp though (water just approaching boiling). Definitely a wonderful desert tea with rock sugar and cream. I recently had some family visit, and everyone is in love with this tea. It will definitely have to be part of my next order. I never brew black tea as hot as Adagio instructs as it always seems to make the tea bitter. I also find that the chocolate and caramel flavor is best after this tea cools enough to drink without concern for burning my mouth. Somehow the caramel flavor is at its best at that point.
