after a couple cups of this i started noticing a black licorice flavor at the end.. i like black licorice.. but not in my tea.
This tea smells delightful! Very chocolatey and rich with just a hint of vanilla. After brewing the aroma was still strong and the taste was delicious. Mostly like a good black tea with just a hint of the flavoring and not at all overpowering. Perfect for breakfast!
Adagio's Caramel does not smell or taste like caramel to me, but this has a true caramel note. The chocolate is a little more understated. Overall it has a smooth, rich, delightful taste. I will definitely be getting this again.
This one is good, you can taste all the flavors very well and they compliment one another nicely. Be careful on the steep time though! Any time past 3 minutes imparts an unpleasant, bitter taste to it.
A friend of mine kindly let me try a cup of her Tiger Eye stash, and I was instantly hooked! I drink at least two cups a day of this--I had to cut it back from three because the caffeine was keeping me up at night. With milk and sugar, this tea is a delight! I agree with the person who compared it to Kahlua in flavor. Eating a piece of chocolate while drinking also helps to bring out a richer flavor!
Definitely an excellent dessert tea! Warm, indulgent, and creamy. I like it with plain milk, but it also tastes quite nice with soy milk. No sweetener needed, in my opinion. Let it cool for a few minutes to really bring out the flavor.
Wasn't awful, but wasn't really great either. It was a bit strong for my taste. I ended up giving it to someone else.
Maybe I just do not like caramel tea. All I could taste in this tea was the caramel, no chocolate at all. Maybe it will be better if I mixed it with a chocolate tea.

When I first opened this blend's pouch I was a little bit worried that it might taste too artificially sweet, given that the chocolate and caramel are so pronounced in the aroma. However, I was totally wrong! The flavors in this tea are deliciously subtle, and the fragrance is fantastic. It's wonderful hot or iced!
I tried a sample of this and it is so good. I really need more now! I think the caramel really makes this tea stand out for me. It also smells wonderful!
Absolutely drool-worthy aroma! And I was pleasantly surprised to find that the taste is actually very delicate - no overwhelming sweetness but just enough to hint at the fact that there is chocolate and caramel.
The sweetness of this one is very nice. Be careful not to over steep.

The batch I got had a great carmel aroma and flavor, but others flavors were not in evidence.

Very dark in flavor...the taste reminds me a lot of coffee.

Adagio left this sample out of my order, so unfortunately, I never got to try it. Based on the reviews my friends have given, though, it's apparently quite delicious - I hope to try it soon!
This tea was recommended to me by a friend and it is great. Nice rich caramel and chocolate flavors and a sweetness that pairs really well with the black tea. Love it!
Right when I opened the bag of tigers eye tea the smell filled the room. Sweet caramel and chocolate. And it tasted as good as it smelled. This tea needs no form of sweetner because of the caramel and chocolate. Love this tea!!
Oh my! This is absolutely wonderful! It tastes and smells like it just came from a small cafe! And the taste is even better with milk. I like the caramel taste, with just a hint of chocolate at the end.
This tea smells absolutely wonderful in the bag and even better brewed. It's so delicious, I could almost drink it without sugar and milk. Adding sugar and milk makes it taste like a mocha with caramel. I bet it would be great cold and blended with ice cream or froyo.

Very nice, but rather subtle. The chocolate comes through pretty well, though the caramel is definitely more of an undertone than a top note. little bit of honey and some milk turned the whole thing into a lovely, mellow cup of tea.

Good dessert tea, but I think it would be better in blends. I like the chocolate chai better for a dessert tea to be honest.

I love this tea in blends (particularly with pu-erh) but it's not that great on its own. The caramel-chocolate flavor is good, but a little overwhelming straight, and it had an off-putting aftertaste that I don't notice in blends.
This tea is delicious. It tastes like candy (minus the sugar) and makes a great healthy alternative to hot chocolate. It smells amazing, too. Every time I make it, the room is filled with a delicious chocolate caramel aroma.
If you like strong coffee, this is a great tea alternative. It's got very high warm roasted notes and is not overbearingly sweet.
I thought it was okay. I would have preferred it to be stronger. I'll probably experiment with the steeping time a bit the next few times.
Caramel and Chocolate is arguably one of my favorite things in the world. Once I realized that there's a tea that mixes the two I was the happiest people in the world! This is an amazing brew!
I love this tea! It brews up pretty dark in the cup and has a strong, smooth flavor. You can get two good brews out of the leaves. the first steeping gives a more pronounced caramel flavor and the second has a stronger chocolate note. There is a hint of vanilla that just ties all the flavors together beautifully. Typically, I like my black teas with cream and sugar but this is one I much prefer straight, or with just a touch of sweetener.

It's great with milk. It smells like caramel and chocolate when you first open the package. It's not really sweet, but I can taste a little bit of the caramel with the milk.

So I am not a very big fan of Caramel, and the thought of Chocolate in my tea kind of freaks me out, so I am not really sure why I got a sample of this in the first place, but I am glad I did! It is very smooth and sweet, but not too sweet. It isn't overwhelmingly chocolatey, despite the smell of the bag. Very happy!

One of the yummiest flavored teas I've ever had the pleasure of sipping! The aroma from the bag is quite heavenly, and matched only by its smooth decadent taste. Not overly sweet, but just right! This is a great dessert tea with either vanilla or hazelnut creamer - or just plain milk and brown sugar. It's definitely better as a latte rather than on its own, but that's just my opinion - I greatly prefer most teas with creamer or milk and honey anyway. I do believe Tiger Eye tea has officially taken up a position at the top of my list of favorites from Adagio! I definitely recommend it.
Chocolate? Caramel? Tea? Together? What's not to love?! I bought this untested and it has swiftly become one of my favorites. With some sugar and a bit of milk, it is dessert in a cup.
Holy Helicopters Batman! This tea tastes like an ice cream sundae. No one seems to be mentioning the small amount of vanilla that makes this what it is. Yes the chocolate and caramel are the most prominent, but that's not why this stuff is so amazing. I only got a sample but I will be ordering more. very soon.
