This tea is a good tea with a hint of rose flavor and the end of the sip. This tea is great with milk an a little bit of sugar added. The mile really brings out the rose flavor and makes for a really delicious cup.
Our Summer Rose tea invokes the sweet lingering fragrance of late summer roses winding up a garden trellis. Mellow and deliciously floral, this rose tea is balanced with the bright briskness of a Ceylon black tea.

This one's easy to over seep the roses, but it just smells so amazing.
Lovely floral tea that smells delicious and taste even better.
I've been waiting a long time for Adagio to get a rose tea. Harney and Sons has a really good rose tea and this is very similar. The rose doesn't overpower and is SO good with a little cream and sugar. Good iced.
A very potent floral tea. Can be a bit overbearing if you make it full bodied, but it is very good on the light side.
My Husband really likes this one, but it's a little strong for me. The rose taste is a little overpowering for me, which is unexpected for me. I feel like I would like it better blended with another tea since I like floral and fruity teas. My husband tends to perfer stronger flavors, so He wants me to order more of this one though, so we will be buying more!
Smells like flowers in the bag! Would definitely be best with another tea blended with it. Sweet to smell and adding sugar takes it a bit overboard. Definitely nice in the morning!
This is my new favorite tea. It tastes exactly as a rose smells. I love to add a bit of cream and sugar, and it is suitable for even the youngest tea drinkers.
I didn't actually expect to love this as much as I do. Holy cow. You wouldn't think drinking a lovely smelling flower would be a tasty thing but, I assure you, it is. It's like drinking an English garden with, like, Richard Armitage at your elbow, whispering sweet nothings into your ear and looking longingly at you with those deep soulful blue eyes of his... Also, this makes a GREAT iced tea. But that's beside the point.
I'm glad I tried this one, but it was a bit too floral for my taste. I think I would have preferred a lighter rose flavor.
I love the way the tea smells, it's a little overpowering but not too bad. I really need to try putting in milk and sugar/honey. I'm just putting in honey and it's...lacking something. Still it's pretty good, probably will order again.
The name of this flavored tea speaks for itself. Summer rose is smooth, mild floral with a bit of sweetness. This tea will blend well with strawberry herbal/black and vanilla black/green teas. I personally hate anything floral, but I just had to try a rose tea. I do have to say, this tea is simply delicious.
omg it tastes so friggin frilly, makes me feel like a fairy princess! it truly has an intense and spot on rose scent/taste, it smells exactly like my roses in my old garden ,if you really want a frilly tasting cup add a bit of the cream flavored tea ( i went like 3 parts rose to 1 part cream) it's exactly what i imagined tea to taste like at childhood make believe tea parties
this is and amazing cool weather tea, nothing beats it on a winter day
To be frank, I wasn't expecting to like this tea. Rose can be overpowering sometimes. But this is perfectly sweet and balanced. I added a touch of sugar and milk and it's just delightful :)
Wow! Opening the bag smells like getting a dozen roses. I didn't find it had a very string taste, so I added it to other teas which made them all smell so much fancier.
Warm, flowery, and rich without being overpowering as many rose teas are.
this is probably a good tea for floral-flavor lovers... but i've discovered i dislike rose flavored tea in general.
This tea has a beautiful scent. Alone, it was okay, but not great. However, mixed with other teas, it's the perfect accent.
When I opened up the bag, I was struck right away with the smell of this tea. It's so lovely and floral, I felt like was punched in the face by a rose garden in the best way possible.
After brewing the rosiness mellows out considerably, leaving you with a delicious, light tasting tea that could double as a perfume.
I opened the tea up and immediately felt like I was back in my grandmother's rose garden. The tea brewed was just as delightful, but lighter than the smell. Tried it with a bit of sugar and loved it even more. Not my favorite but definitely delicious.
Rose is one flavor I've felt like Adagio's been missing for a while now...so when I saw they had one, I had to scoop it up. And I'm so glad I did. Previously I had to use Tazo to get my rose fix, but not anymore, thank goodness. This is the perfect rose tea!
The scent is a bit misleading, it's stronger than it smells but at the same time it's very delicate and I can taste the hints of the rose petals in it. It is a little strong, but adding a sugar crystal or two to each cup makes everything better.
If a tea could be crowned princess this one would definitely be it! I think I would like to try it out with some vanilla.
The aroma is wonderful, but the rose taste is a little sharp. A teaspoon of sugar helped. Although I am not impressed with this tea alone, it will work well in blends. A little vanilla will smooth it out nicely.
This is seriously my favorite tea ever. It really just tastes like roses smell and for some reason it is intoxicating. I love blending it with valentines or lavender.
One of the best black teas I have ever tasted! Slightly floral and sweet.
I have fallen in love with this tea. it is perfect in every way. Rose is a tricky flavor to get right, and adagio has surprisingly done just that. I like this mixed with just a little bit of the vanilla or cream tea, and maybe just a dash of sugar.
Surprisingly sweet and a lovely rose scent. The flavor is hard to describe but definitely worth it.
It is a nice, floral tea and the scent is amazing. It is good for being so light and floral but I like my teas to be strong. Since I usually just take my tea with sugar, it's like regular sweet tea with another element of flavor. I really wish there was more rose flavor to it though.
The smell alone is gorgeous (if a little overpowering), and it brews a very nice cup of tea, too. Really interesting flavor.
Such a nice, subtle floral flavor! Milk is almost a must with this one to bring out the rose flavor in the best possible way, and the scent, both in the package and brewed in the cup, is lovely. It would definitely go nicely in a floral teacup in an English rose garden. But, you know, even if you're drinking it from a chipped mug on a saggy couch, you can at least pretend you're sitting in a rose garden with this nice tea.
The perfect tea for a fancy tea party. Defiantly floral so if you aren't a fan of eating flowers I would not recommend it.
I've had a blend with this in it before, so I already sort of had a taste for it, but by itself this tea is very soothing and tastes good with a little milk in it as well
A very light, sweet tea. Smells absolutely amazing in the bag, and the brewed tea smells stronger than it tastes. The rose flavor was not overwhelming or perfume-y, which was nice.
I had some second thoughts upon buying this. It's too floral
A really mellow, flowery tea- this is just what I was looking for, I love it in the mornings! I haven't tried it, but I imagine it would be absolutely wonderful as a sweet iced tea.
Delightful, rich, and floral, Summer Rose is another winning tea from Adagio. Very happy with this one.
I really was surprised by this tea. It smelled like the roses in my garden, but the flavor was much more subtle. I am delighted with the final cup. It would be good iced as well.
I can remember the first time I ever smelled a rose in the garden, and I thought it smelled like the most delicious tea in the world. This tea has that smell, and it tastes lovely, though not quite as magical as it smells.
The strong floral scent this tea gave off when I started steeping it gave me high hopes, but sadly the rose flavor is a lot more mild. That may be ideal for some people, but I prefer a stronger rose flavor.
Rose is a flavor I'm always intrigued by. Before trying this tea, I'd only ever had it in confections. The tea is...ok. Perhaps a taste I need a little time to acquire.
A really floral tea. Flowery teas aren't my thing but it was still pretty nice.
I got this as a free sample on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. It tastes exactly as it smells.
The smell of this tea was overpowering when I opened the bag and I was afraid it would be similar to chewing a rose. However, once brewed, it tasted like a beautiful spring day - light and delicate. I'm sure if you're not careful and over brew, you'd end up with an overly floral cup so be careful!
On the good side: no bitterness. However, I smelled and tasted very little rose, which was surprising to me given the other reviews. Perhaps I'm spoiled by another vendor's white tea with rose...it was like drinking perfume (sans alcohol). If this was going to be, bascially, just black tea with a very faint hint of rose, I would have liked some astringency and/or body. Neither of those were there, either.
This is a great tea for the summer. Good hot or ice brewed.
Not bad, but pretty strong floral scent, which kinda gives me a headache. It's alright but I probably won't order it again.
I got a sample size of this thinking it would be interesting, and it is interesting, but not mu cup of tea. I guess I just don't like to drink my roses.
it's not exactly my cup of tea but I bought this for a friend and when we tried it, it was extremely floral of a tea not bad at all just personally not for me.
I felt a little like I was drinking perfume. It had an odd after-taste that was bitter and not pleasant to me. Maybe some people like rose tea... but it's just not for me.
