Something I've decided to try on a whim, Mostly I just like it blended with other teas, and not so much by itself, but then I have yet to try it iced so I'm excited to see how that will turn out.

★★★★☆

It's not bad, it's not fantastic, it's just... tea. A black tea with floral undertones. The taste is far better than the smell, which is so floral it's almost perfumey. The only thing preventing this one from getting a higher rating is the strange this-is-going-to-make-me-puke feeling this tea is leaving me with.

I had a really hard time picking out the rose in this one. it wasn't really my favorite rose tea, but it wasnt terrible.

★★★★☆

The dry tea itself smells somewhat weirdly perfumed and off putting, but don't be deceived. Once brewed, this black tea carries deliciously subtle hints of rosewater that immediately remind me of rosebushes blooming in late June.

I absolutely love the combination of black tea and roses. :)

I think this is probably not the single most magical rose tea I've ever tried, but then (to be fair), the tea to which I'm comparing it might exist only in my fevered imagination... It's been very satisfactory to blend with, however, and the most surprising result I've noticed is that the addition of a faint touch of spice - vanilla chai, say, in even the smallest increment - actually seems to play against and emphasize the lightness, the floral quality of the rose. It's a fun effect!

First, this tea smells amazing. On opening the bag, the rose scent is evident. The Ceylon base makes it a lighter cup, I think, than the rose congou sold by many places. While I think this would make it intriguing as an iced tea, I was looking for something a little more substantial. I also didn't taste the spicy note that many people have mentioned. Still a good tea, just not what I was looking for. (Good with milk and sugar, by the way.)

Very light and dainty in scent and taste. Even after adding some sweetness, it was very subtle.

This one is amazing! I added sugar to it and it brought out extra rosey sweetness that I wasn't expecting!

★★★★★

I love rose flavored anything and was excited when I saw this flavor being offered. It didn't disappoint me. It tastes like honeyed roses, it is rather sweet without any sweetener added.

★★★★★

I like teas flavored with rose petals, and this one is great-not too sweet

★★★★★

I was really excited to try this tea. The rose wasn't overpowering and blended well with the black tea. I generally prefer tea without milk or sweeteners, and was happy that this tea had a strong flavor by itself. a really enjoyable floral tea.

★★★★☆

Nicely floral, though the rose flavor could stand to be a bit stronger to match the tea. Also very good iced!

This is a delicious tea, but the fragrance is VERY strong- it really does smell like a very, very strong perfume and the first time you have a cup, it's difficult to get past the smell and realize that the taste is not going to be pungent. I cut it with decaf ceylon and it's perfect.

★★★★☆

a good tea a little bit on the earthy side for those who like it that way

★★★★★

Oooh, so good! Smells wonderful and it tastes like a black tea with an obvious but not overwhelming rose taste. Some rose teas just aren't convincing, but this one really pulls it off. One of my new favorites.

★★★★★

As with any floral tea, watch your steep time! 2 mins was the magic balance for me. Hot or cold, this one's delicious, and it's even better with milk. Definitely a new favorite!

Wasn't expecting to enjoy this tea as much as I did! I was worried that the rose flavor would be too overpowering, but not with Adagio! The taste of the black tea and rose is perfectly balanced. Tastes just like the smell of walking through a rose garden after a rain shower. Greenery and rose anchored in black tea! Definitely worth a try and perfect with amber sugar crystals.

★★★★★

THIS IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST TEA I HAVE EVER HAD. it makes me feel fancy like i'm alice in wonderland but fancier and so on.

This is one of the most amazingly perfect flavors of tea here. With red rose petals, the flavor blends with tea well. If too strong, blend with any black tea. Recommended chilled with milk, sugar and cream.

★★★☆☆

nice floral smell in the bag and brewed. very mild, have to say nothing special. There are other black teas I would drink before this

A nice floral flavoring that isn't too overpowering. The rose and black tea flavor mix well together, unlike some of the other flavored black teas.

★★★☆☆

For me personally a little too strong in flavor, tastes almost artificial to me

very different and very good. drinking this makes me feel like im sitting in a beautiful garden.

What a fabulous, pretty, delicious black tea. A !

★★★★★

Really enjoyable black tea. As others have noted, the tea itself isn't nearly as floral as the smell would indicate. This was a little disappointing to me for the first cup, but I steeped some extra time for the second to great effect. I would love to try it with some rose petal jam on toast!

I've been waiting for Adagio to get a rose blend since I first discovered this company, though I was hoping it would be caffeine-free. Either way, floral teas are not for everyone and can be challenging to steep correctly. I recommend playing around with the steeping time and temp. to find what works for you.

Out of the bag, I was surprised at how fragrant the tea is. a perfect rose garden. I got this tea out of curiosity, as most probably have, and after steeping the tea, I must say the scent does mellow out quite nicely (It smells like a perfume my mother wore when I was younger). I tried mine with a bit of milk, and am rather pleased with the outcome. I don't know how to properly describe it, and that's a-okay with how simply delicious it smells and tastes.

★★★★★

This tea is absolutely brilliant. I love floral teas-- and this one tastes like the 'summer rose' it claims to be. I just received it and have opted to drink it instead of anything else all week.

★★★★★

I was very pleased with this tea. The scent and the flavor are wonderful. It reminded me of the tea roses we had when I was growing up. It's lovely with a little bit of honey or agave. Good hot for the full fragrance. But just as refreshing over ice.

★★★★★

By far the best rose tea I've had! It has a fresh rather than artificial flavor without being overwhelming.

I love this tea! It's great for any time of the day, smells good, and is superb with honey.

I am extremely, pleasantly surprised by this tea so far! When I first opened the pouch, the scent of the dried rose petals was overpowering, and not in a good way. But once you give it time to steep the scent mellows out and the roses accent the tea instead of taking control of it (which is what I was afraid it would do). I'll try it with milk a bit later for comparison, but drinking it black with just a bit of sweetener is perfect by itself. For curiosity, I think I'm going to try and blend it with something citrusy next time and see how the rose and the citrus bring each other out!

this is my fav of my order, its exactly like rose,

★★★★★

I think I've found my new favorite tea! I love the way it smells, and the rose flavor is pronounced and delightful.

★★★★★

Everything about this tea is...pretty. Very clear rose scent and flavor. good on its own or as a floral addition to blends. If you like floral teas, definitely give this one a try.

★★☆☆☆

I was pretty excited to try this, and I'm sad to say that I personally was not a fan of this tea. It left a strange and unpleasant after-taste. It was a little too bitter tasting for me and then the after-taste was so strong and it just lingered. Unfortunately this is one tea that I don't believe I can recommend.

★★★★★

This...was...DELICIOUS! I accidentally steeped it 3 minutes over the recommended time (I dosed off on the computer lol) so it was like REALLY floral tasting, but it was still good! It wasn't bitter or anything, just a delicious flower in a cup hahaha. It tastes even better with some honey and milk.

I used to add rose water to my teas and am all about anything rose flavored. This one is spot on without being 'soapy' tasting. If you're a rose person, you'll love this!

Love this tea! I've been trying to find a good rose tea forever!
