I was really surprised by this tea. I didn't think I'd like the floral taste, but it's so comforting and tastes wonderful with just a small spoonful of sugar. Really light and comforting.

A most wonderful blend, I was really excited when I opened it because I'm a very big fan of roses. The smell is amazing, like walking in a rose garden. The taste is subtle, you don't get much of the rose flavor with sipping, its much more of an after taste. All in all very good will buy again

★★☆☆☆

Definitely sweet and roses, plays well in blends, but that Ceylon base overwhelms the floral flavor with bitterness.

Just as good as the Republic of Tea's, but for less than half the price! I'm in love. Tastes just like it smells and it's so, so good.

★★★★☆

Smells beautiful and fresh, great aroma. Has a nice spring/summery taste to it. It's not my favorite but a nice step away from my traditional favorites.

★★★★★

When I was a kid, my parents would always take me to this magnificent rose garden in the park by my house. It was my favourite place in the world, it felt so magical and perfect. This tea conjured up a lot of memories and feelings for that rose park. This tea is pretty much perfect. it tastes and smells just like a rose and will be a perfect way to get through winter, when everything outside is white and sleeping, and I just want to go back to the rose garden.

This reminds me of taking a walk in a lovely rose garden =)! It has a great flavor and the smell is so fresh.

★★★★★

Very rose like without being overbearing. Thank you!

★★★★☆

I like the taste of the tea but not the fragrance. Smells more medicinal than like roses. Tastes great with sugar.

This is the tea I have been waiting for!! For years, I have been begging for an Adagio rose tea (I adore florals)! I was quite impressed with the results, too -- more delicate and less perfumed than some of the other rose teas in my collection, this is beautiful both on its own and as part of a blend.

Oh, it smells great, wonderfully unusual, and the flavor does not disappoint. I added just a smidge of sugar.

★★★★★

This tea is absolutely heavenly! For once I didn't even want to sweeten it, as I normally do, because it would just ruin the balance of flavor in this cup. The rose fragrance is very strong in the bag, which smells fantastic to me. The flavor the rose adds to the tea is wonderfully floral and perfectly balances and mellows the Ceylon. I definitely need to try this iced next time.

I enjoy this in the afternoon. Very fragrant black tea that's a perfect way to bring a little summer into a cold day.

★★★★★

The rose is subtle enough to not be in your face, and strong enough to stay in the air after the cup is done. I make this tea everytime it rains, and it's perfect!

★★★★★

I was doubtful, but this has proven to be one of the best black teas I have had. Milk and sugar make this fantastic.

As soon as the bag opens, the smell of rose just escapes into the air. It doesn't disappear when the tea is steeped, it only becomes sweeter. If you have never experienced the taste of rose, it is an entirely unique and delightful experience. Definitely a new addition to the 'favorites' pile.

I'm not one who has drank black tea in the past , but summer rose sounded intriguing, I've had rose mints from cost plus stores, and the flavor was light..elegant, different.
well, the summer rose tea is light, elegant, special, and drinking something rare and special makes me feel rare and special. It is better then when I got my first 'visa card' !!
The tea is great, and if you drink tea for warm comfort it provides..this one is the electric blanket of teas

★★★★☆

Decent taste. I wasn't exactly a fan of rose but this one has made me believe otherwise.

★★★★★

I love the rose flavor and I just hope that adagio creates a green tea rose soon!

★★★★☆

Soft, sweet, and crisp. Very summery, very floral and living up to it's name.

★★★★★

This tea is quite tasty, like black tea with just a hint of rose! Delicious!

★★★☆☆

Rose is both the dominant scent and flavor here. it smells almost perfume-like, but the taste is thankfully a little more subdued.

★★☆☆☆

This might might shock you, but this rose tea is very floral! Like, intensely so. I like lavender teas, but this rose was way too much for me. It tastes like perfume.

Definitely have to love floral flavors to like this one. Very pretty and refined.

★★★★☆

I agree with the fairy princess comment. Used recommended timeandtemp.

★★★★★

Love at first brew. The scent was not overpowering, but I do wonder how strong it really is since my ex could not smell it (he might be weird.) I drank this with no sugar (it didn't feel right) and enjoyed every bit. I will have to but more of this.

★★★★★

I really love floral teas, and this one is great! It's not too harsh or fake-tasting, but a lovely sweet blend.

★★★★★

This tea is absolutely beautiful, sweet like honey but with a solid rose-water aftertaste. Hooked.

★★★★★

I'm a floral fragrance/flavor lover, so this is heaven to me. I mixed it with Mango and the flower-fruit balance was sensational.

★★★★☆

Nice flavor, but I think the black tea covers the rose a little too much.

★★★★★

This is one of the best teas that I have ever drank. It was so unbelievably amazing. It was so relaxing and brightened my whole day with just one cup. I was addicted with the first sip. If you are looking for a tea party tea, this is it.

★★★★★

I love this tea! It's very floral and peppery- it tastes exactly like drinking a flower.

★★☆☆☆

I wasn't very impressed with this. It's a fine black tea, but it smells way more rosy than it tastes

The rose isn't very strong, but it's there. just subtle.

★★★★★

It's sweet and light and I absolutely love it. Perfect without any sugar at all

★★★★★

Super flowery! Tastes very good when combined with the cream tea and some sugar.

I've been dying to try this for ages but it was always out of stock whenever I checked, but this last order it was in so I picked up a sample. It's lovely and floral and not at all bitter, even when I accidentally steeped it too long the second time. Definitely going to pick up a full bag!

As a child, I once ate a handful of rose petals- they were aromatic but bitter, and they turned my saliva pink. This tea is exactly the same, minus the last part. It tastes very traditional, like something the Queen of England sips while gazing out the window of her palace at the garden- so much so, in fact, that I feel I should apologize for being improper just now. It's alright plain, but a spoonful of sugar makes it much more pleasant, and it tastes like I imagine candied rose petals would. Cream mellows out the bitterness even more, making a calming cup that is best enjoyed at high tea.

About 85 of teas I drink are unflavored. However, I'm always on the look out for a good rose tea as it is probably my favorite.

My recent purchases:
English Rose by Davids tea
Rose Scented by Harney and Sons
Summer Rose by Adagio teas

I have to say I prefer Adagio's version. The rose flavor is not too overwhelming, it's not too oily and it also has a lovely lemony undertone that reminds me of a Hybrid Tea Rose.

Brisk, floral, and reminiscent of store-bought roses ... almost artificially so.

★★★★★

This is a wonderful, flowery tea. I'm not one of those girls who wants you to bring me roses, but if you bring me rose TEA, I won't complain a bit. I've tried several teas flavored with roses, and this one is one of the best. Black tea with pure rose flavor, no crazy stuff added to take away from that summer time Shakespeare taste. I sweeten it with a touch of honey and prefer it with a bit of milk (though, it is also quite nice black)

★★★★★

Oh my!
Black Tea with Rose petals. And let me tell you, you DO taste the rose in it. Quite an appeasing tea as well.
What an experience!

I'm not a big fan of black teas typically but bought this one out of curiosity. It smells strongly of roses and when steeped, gives off a nice floral scent. Despite my feelings towards black teas, this one has really found a place in my home with it's warm earthiness that reminds me of summer nights. :) UPDATE: My coworker insists it smells like old lady or spilled ink but I still think it's a wonderful floral tea. :)

Lovely fragrence as it brewed, and the flavor was just perfect, not too strong. Absolutely loved it.

Easily one of my favorite basic teas here. To be fair, I'm a fan of rose-flavored foods and drinks, and this definitely met my expectations. I only ordered a sample size of this and found myself finishing it off pretty quickly, so I put in another order! Flowery and light, this'll definitely be my default tea.

★★★★☆

Not bad, I might add a little sugar next time I brew it. The rose scent is quite nice, and did make me feel better.

★★★☆☆

I like the taste but I'm more of a black tea fan.

★★★★★

I love the rose in this it transports you to a summer rose garden!

★★★★☆

Excellent rose tea. As strange as it sounds, I'd almost say it could use more rose, but it's still a great summer tea. Only let it steep for a minute or two. it goes from light floral to bitter black in a moment. The rose has to steep without letting the black tea take over, basically.
