Sweet and fragrant, very light floral taste, a great tea for summer
Our Summer Rose tea invokes the sweet lingering fragrance of late summer roses winding up a garden trellis. Mellow and deliciously floral, this rose tea is balanced with the bright briskness of a Ceylon black tea.

Sweet and fragrant, very light floral taste, a great tea for summer
It tasted just like a rose! It tastes delicious hot or cold.
First, roses are my favorite flowers in the entire world. I love the way they look, the way they smell, what they symbolize. This tea smells like nothing but roses, it smells like fairies made it. It tastes like rosewater when unsweetened and Turkish Delight with the addition of liberal sugar. It's a beautiful, beautiful experience to drink this tea.
this tea doesn't only smell like a rose, it tastes like one too. It even has little flowers in it, so cute!
I picked Summer Rose up on a whim and I am very happy that I did. I have only tried it hot and I think it's excellent. I would consider it a mildly flavored tea. Perfect for morning or afternoon. I do not agree with the other reviews that stated it was overly scented in the bag. In both the bag and cup it was perfect. I would consider buying it from time to time. It's worth trying!
I opened the pouch and was punched in the face by my Grandma's yard. This doesn't smell like roses, it smells like too many darn roses. That said, once carefully steeped and given a bit of milk, it mellowed out a lot, and became quite pleasant, if a little fussy. The tea is decidedly drowned out by the rose, but if the rose is what you're after, then you'll like this.
When I opened the package all I could smell was the strong scent of roses. It tastes great and still smells like roses after you brew it.
A nice enough black tea, but the rose scent is rather weak, and I don't taste it at all.
I don't normally like black tea, but this was by far the best. Drinking it without any sugar was fine. The tea wasn't overpowering at all which I liked. I added some sugar and it was great! The more it cooled the better it taste.
Nice floral, summer tea. Not too overpoweringly rosy
Very mild. It smells fantastic in the bag and was great for freshening up the office after a coworker of mine let his tuna sandwich stink up the desk area. I forgot my sugar and honey at home, but that's just as well--this tea didn't need it. Vaguely floral, with a crisp bite of citrus. I may have steeped it a little too long, as my boss caught me just after I put the tea bag in, but it was still delicious.
I absolutely love this tea! It is my new favorite. Its the perfect summer tea - hot or cold.
Summer Rose is a mysterious thing. I've never had rose flavored anything before and when I ask people who have to describe it, they say 'it taste like how a rose smells'. Normally that is a horrible description, but I'll be derned if they aren't correct. I had this hot and iced, I think I like it hot better, but the tea taste very nice, once you can get past the smell of overwhelming rose hitting your face. So if you like rose flavored things, this is the tea for you!
DIFFICULT TO KEEP TASTE CONSISTENT. PERIODICALLY SMELLED ARTIFICIAL
There is a strong scent of roses when you open the bag but it mellows as you brew it to a lovely light floral and tea. Very good with a touch of sugar and cream.
Very fragrant and smooth! One of my favorite tea now!
The flower flavor is very good, but it builds quickly on itself and can become overpowering. It is a good dessert tea, and certainly the flavor is great.
I feel like this was best paired with another ceylon. I've been spoiled by the blends. It's pleasant with sugar, though the smell is a bit on the funeral side.
It's smells incredible! I wasn't sure I'd like a rose tea, but it was nice and solid and comforting with a lovely smell.
Nice and floral rose flavor. I would order this again.
This is the epitome of spring. The rose flavor is sweet and fragrant.
Very subtle. Really good with milk, and would probably be nice brewed cold. Calming and made me think of summer.
I love it. The rose flavor is assertive but not overpowering.
Smells and tastes so fresh and summery. I've mixed it with other teas and also had it by itself. Fragrant but subtle. I like it in the morning with a little milk for a happy start to the day.
I really really wanted to like this one, but unfortunately it was much too floral for me. In the bag it smelled 100 like potpourri, but not in an unpleasant way. You definitely know it's rose tea! Brewed it tasted exactly as it smelled, which unfortunately for me was a little overwhelming. I'm going to try to go back to this tea and play with brew times to see if I can find a way to make it more palatable to me but for now I'm going to have to pass on any future purchases
It's wonderful, the rose smell is strong when you open the package, and the tea itself has a hint of rose flavor, not too strong to be overwhelming, it's a great tea for relaxing and de-stressing. If you like rose flavored stuff, mostly likely you will like this tea.
I have been drinking rose black tea, so I had to try this one. So good.
Not what I was expecting. Very pungent, and strong plant flavor. Would not purchase again.
I tried a cup last night. I loved the way it smells when I open the tea container. The little pink petals were so pretty too. It tasted delicious too!
It smells very nice but doesn't seem to translate well to the cup. I was sort of disappointed by it, but all in all it was alright.
Love this tea. It has a great smell and its not too strong. With just a bit of sugar it is great
The rose is not overwhelming. It's more like sitting next to a rose bush that drinking a flower shop. This is a very nice tea. I let the water cool in the kettle for a few minutes before pouring so it wasn't exactly boiling.
I'm surprised that I even like this tea. Didn't really sound great, but leaves a really nice clean floral taste in your mouth. Not something I could drink every day, but a nice tea to change it up.
Floral and frilly, this tea makes me feel like a fairy princess. The tea was a little dry, which is the only thing keeping it from a 'great' rating.
Been looking a long time for rose tea that tastes like the kind my mother brewed when I was a kid--this is definitely it. Light and nostalgic.
For starters I bought this with another tea and the second I opened the box I was immediately assaulted by the powerful fragrance of it. But the flavour was really quite good. I enjoyed it and I could get three brews out of the leaves if I was patient.
It is a very girly tea though.
This tea has a beautiful rose flavor to it. It's perfect for the spring and summer months. I personally love to enjoy it while outside.
This is just a wonderful tea to sip and enjoy anytime of the day. Not too rosy, the roses add a lovely floral note to this great tea!
Just the right amount of rose flavor to satisfy my craving. Great for lovers of floral teas
It's a wonderful black tea. The roses petals in it taste wonderful and relax me. Any one who likes the taste of roses, will love this tea.
This tea does not have the rose flavor I was hoping for. It, literally, tastes like wet roses--and not in a super way. I wouldn't say it's terrible but I would have liked a more floral finish.
This is a great tea for early afternoon tea with the girlfriends. The rose flavor is pronounced, but not cloying. Love it
Not a fan. This was quite strong. I was expecting something a little softer like the jasmine teas. Rose is quite overwhelming for me.
flowery but not too overpowering. make sure not too over brew
Very smooth, mild flavor. Everything one could want from a rose-enhanced black tea.
Way, way too perfumey for my tastes. This tea is like eating rose petals.
I can't say enough about how wonderful this tea is. Very distinct flavor and scent of a real old fashioned rose garden. I could not wait to share this with friends. There is no hint of artificial flavor here, as I have found with some of the flavored teas. Just pure deliciousness.
I blended this with the almond tea, which produces a great dessert tea with afternotes of rose. I haven't tried it on its own yet, though.
The rose is mild and a nice accompaniment to the black tea. Add a small bit of honey to help bring out the floral flavor and it makes a nice, mellow cup. I like making it a little lighter than black teas usually are to enjoy the rose flavor more.
I am a fan of rose flavor, and I really like the balance this one has. It's floral without being too perfume-like. It's great unsweetened, but a little sugar makes it a wonderful dessert cup.
