Tastes great served cold! Served hot, it has a strange sick-sweet flavor.

★★★★★

very good I love floral tea's and this one doesn't disappoint.

★★★★★

I got this as a free sample with my first purchase and I love it. While the fragrance is really strong, it doesn't over power in the tea and it's nice and sweet.

★★★★★

The ceylon fits perfectly with the rose. It's great iced or hot and with or without sugar and/or cream. A pleasantly astringent and bright floral tea that blends very nicely with coconut and fruit flavors. I prefer a shorter brew when drunk hot: 2-2.5 min.

This tea tastes and smells absolutely amazing. I keep this one in my bag for work.

★★★★☆

I first brewed this as an iced tea and it was great, especially with lemon. Hot it is good too, but it's so hot right now where I live I mostly drink iced teas during the day. The rose flavor doesn't over power the tea itself, which is nice.

First tasted a French rose tea and then discovered this one - fabulous for sharing w/friends over afternoon tea. Has a feminine and romantic aroma.

★☆☆☆☆

This has NO flavor at all. It doesn't even have a good rose scent like it should. I don't recommend this one... at all.

★★★★★

I bought a pound of this without trying it before, and the risk paid off! This is a great, refreshing, smooth tea at what I think is an impressive price point for the quality. They're generous with the rose petals, and there is a pronounced sweet, floral flavor without being overwhelming or soapy. It's replacing my english breakfast as a morning tea, and I'd buy it again when I run out (in a loooong time).

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite teas. The aroma alone is wonderful. Has a very nice floral taste to it.

★★★★★

Lovely floral tea. Makes me feel like I'm sitting in a breezy secret garden. Love!

★★★★☆

The summer rose tea is a deliciously light black tea

★★★★★

Really liked this sweet tea. It has a aroma of roses and a taste of honey. It is mild and comforting. Will get again.

Will be ordering this one again. The sweet subtle rose flavor is simply delightful.

★★★★★

What a delicious tea! It's the essence of summer nights in a cup, the sweetness and fragrance of rose in a full-bodied tea. It's good cold, when all you need is something to refresh you after working out in the yard, but it's also good hot, when you need something to remind you of warm days. Absolutely will be stocking this regularly.

I am sipping a second steeping of this lovely tea as I write. Fragrant and relaxing as the name indicates. Inhaling the bouquet, sipping and savoring the finish is like enjoying a glass of fine wine. If you love Tea and Roses, please try a sample pack of this.

★★★★★

Loved having this tea throughout the summer. The floral smell and taste was exactly what I wanted.

★★★★★

I don't typically drink black (caffeinated) tea, but summer rose is a darn good reason to make an exception to the rule. It's dark but delicate. The rose petals look and smell so pretty. While the floral fragrance is not for everyone, I really dig it. It's the perfect afternoon tea - poured from a fancy silver tea pot of course! Not only does it make me feel regal and lofty, but the caffeine is a great afternoon energy boost.

★★★★★

This is a great black tea that definitely keeps its rose flavor. My girlfriend and I really enjoy it hot, with cream and sugar.

★★★★★

This tea had such a strong scent of rose, I was afraid to try it. However, once brewed, it had such a nice, subtle taste.

★★★☆☆

Rose is a flavor- a fact which stops people in their tracks as they look around to find themselves in a field of bewilderment. I first was introduced to Rose as a flavor while dining at a Persian restaurant. the restaurant had an amazing rose flavored ice cream that would lead your taste buds to enlightenment.

The rose flavor in Summer Rose by Adagio is subtle, underscored by a touch of lemon, taking a back seat to the classic strong Ceylon black tea flavor. Summer Rose lends itself, particularly well to the addition of cream.

I am inclined to prefer black teas in the unholy A.M. hours or when I need to throw an accelerant on my ambition to accomplish the myriad of task that can be seen in the distance. King Arthur was not ready for battle until he brandished Excalibur, his sword, which was said upon being unsheathed to blind his enemies. Adagio's Black Teas are the morning tea drinker's Excalibur.

No matter how challenging the day ahead, underneath the strong flavor of the Ceylon black tea, is the subtle rose flavor. a soft reminder that through the challenge along the other side of the storm is a brand new day, washed, cleansed, ready for the quiet tranquil artistic strokes of a creator to be admired.

'What's in a name? That which we call a rose. By any other name would smell as sweet.' With all due respect to Miss Capulet in regards to tea this does not always hold true. Summer Rose holds a name worthy of praise and that name is Adagio.

Lovely Rose scent and incredible flavor! Not to strong, just right! I highly recommend this tea.

★★★★☆

The rose flavor is definitely an acquired taste. I like this tea slightly weaker or I felt it to be very overpowering in flavor. Love it iced!

★★★★☆

I *love* floral teas! Just sticking my nose in the sampler pouch told me how much I'd like it!

★★★★★

I love that this is not very sweet. It tastes just like rose.

★★★★☆

It's very definitely rose! It's a little on the floral side for me. I do enjoy it with sugar and milk, but it's not a tea I reach for often.

★★★★★

This tea is great! Nice naturally sweet rose that complements the tea base well. It's not too floraly either. there is not weird floral-bite in the after taste. Taste good hot or cold.

★★★★★

A nice, delicate cup. The rose comes through beautifully, I inhale deeply each time before I take a sip. Fantastic!

★★★★★

This tea has a very gentle but distinct rose flavor, perfectly balanced and not overpoweringly flowery. A favorite!

★★★★★

I found this to have the perfect amount of rose flavor. The black teas from Adagio are hit or miss for me. This wasn't bitter at all.

★★★★★

This is a wonderful rose tea. Delicate and delicious :)

★★★☆☆

This tea is a little too floral for my tastes. (Probably obvious.) But the strength of the rose tones overpowers most other components, so I need to sip this sparingly.

★★★☆☆

The rose was not as strong a flavor as I expected, but very nice for an afternoon pick me up.

★★★★★

I love the taste of the rose, because it was like velvet on the tongue. I've never had an experience like that before with tea. Would recommend it to anyone.

★★★★☆

A nice refreshing black tea with a smooth rose finish.

★★★★☆

I wish it had more rose flavor, but it still makes a fragrant, calming cup.

★★★★☆

I was afraid this would be very floral, and bitter flavored, but it's actually not bad! I was pleasantly surprised. With some sugar and honey it's actually a very light sweet flavor. It's not my favorite flavor, but my mother loves it. I'm more of a sweeter tea person.

★★★★★

So amazing. The light floral aroma does not give the actual flavor enough credit. (that could be my impatient steeping though) I'm definitely buying this again and again. It is my go-to comfort cup right now.

★★★★★

This tea is great for milk tea. Probably one of the best with milk.

★★★★★

Lovely for anyone who loves roses, the taste is very light and great on it's own.

★★☆☆☆

If you've ever used rose water to cleanse your face, congrats, you've found a big ol' glass of it, now with caffeine!

This tea smells and looks beautiful. However, it tastes exactly like it smells, and your nose and your tastebuds have painfully different preferences.

If you want a very 'floral' tea, this is the one for you. It's all the joy of going to a florist and consuming every rose on the premises.

If that's what you're into, by all means, goat-nom away, but I'll stick to keeping my flowers in vases and far from my teapot.

It's about what you'd expect! It's a very floral tea, and when I'm in the mood for it, I love it.

★★★★★

Wonderful floral taste. Strong and bright, it tastes really good with a bit of sugar and is good with or without a little cream.

I love rose tea, so I was excited to give this tea a shot. The smell upon opening the bag was very strong. enough to make me a little fearful. After making it, I realized a little goes a long way. It was a really strong flavor to me! I'd suggest using a touch of this alongside a traditional ceylon or even darjeeling to get a lighter rose flavor, but if you're truly into a strong, rosy, cuppa tea then you may just have your home with this guy!

★★★☆☆

This tea is definitely best iced, but the black tea base is overwhelming the floral notes. What rose you can taste seems slightly artificial, but it is not too bad. I wouldn't buy this again but it makes an alright iced tea for the summer.

★★★★★

Perfect amount of rose flavor. It goes great with black tea. Nice relaxing drink for the afternoon.

★★★★☆

This is a very fragrant and lovely rose tea. If you like floral teas, you'll probably like this one.

★★★★★

This was a good tea to use for Iced Tea. Very refreshing.

★★★★★

Super yummy! I love blending it with vanilla and raspberry!

★★★★☆

Nice black tea with a lovely floral rose note. Smells wonderful and tastes good. The rose blends very nicely with the black tea.
