Summer rose tea, blooming with delight,
A kiss of petals in every sip so light.
Capturing sunshine in a delicate blend,
Bringing warmth and beauty to the end.
Our Summer Rose tea invokes the sweet lingering fragrance of late summer roses winding up a garden trellis. Mellow and deliciously floral, this rose tea is balanced with the bright briskness of a Ceylon black tea.

One of my new favorite teas. This tea has a perfect balance of black tea base w/ rose accented flavors.
So I wasn’t sure that I would like it especially after smelling the CommuniTea sample. It tends toward grandma’s closet vibes. However, with a little honey and milk, I find it quite lovely and comforting.
It smells just like the rose bush we had growing up. The flavor is a bit subtle though.
it was perfectly cromulent. i think i'd enjoy this better in an iced tea, however.
6/12/2024 - Well...I changed my mind. lol. Tastes change, right? I am finding that I actually don't mind rose teas now. Some great blends that had rose in them made me change my opinion. Added a star...and I would gladly sip this one again!
Floral teas are just not my favorite. This one was ok...I enjoyed trying it. But for me the floral smell is overpowering. Just not my cup of tea.
This is a delicious rose tea. The aroma and taste are so soothing. I love roses. This tea is perfect for a cup of tea with a hot bath. Great without sweetener Not bitter.
A pleasant mild tasting tea with a strong rose smell.
I tried. I don't care for rose tea, but I picked out the visible rose petals from my CommuniTea sample, pulled the steep early (at 2:45), and added milk and sugar. This tempered down the rose enough that I was able to drink an entire cup (normally I can barely manage a sip or two!), but honestly, it was still too floral for me. Rose lovers will enjoy this tea.
A quite delicious tea! The black tea is smooth and the rose flavor wasn't strong/perfumy. This is great tasting plain and as a latte.
Solid black tea with a hint of floral. A soft pop of rose hits the palate, and I'm hooked! I have always loved using this in blends, but it's also awesome on its own. Perfectly balanced if brewed for 2 minutes only.
Tried it hot, wasn’t impressed. Tried it cold brewed and fell in love. Creates a light, refreshing floral tea great for sipping.
Light and not too flowery. Perfect for a beautiful summer day in the garden.
This is my alltime favorite tea from Adagio. I can't ever be without this tea. It's floral, but not in your face floral. I can't recommend this tea enough!
I love the aromas of the rose with the black tea. I first opened the bag and I thought it was going to be too strong, but just a teaspoon in hot water is so delightfully fragrant.
What a beautiful smelling/tasting tea! It takes you right to the summer months.
The rose flavour in the tea is really good, and not too strong (even though I tend to overstep my tea quite often).
One of my favourite flavours on Adagio, this tea is very fragrant. The rose scent and flavour feels natural and gentle. It's now my go-to tea to start my morning.
Smells very rosy but it’s good. Love the taste and the smell. Will buy again
Summer rose is all times favorite for the whole family, we are finishing package after the package. The flavor is like a summer day and makes any day better.
ive been looking for the perfect rose tea THIS IS IT i imeditly ordered a 3oz bag but will 100% get a big tin
This blend has a delicate and floral aroma that will enchant your nose and a smooth and soothing taste that will calm your nerves. The Ceylon base gives this blend a mild and refreshing flavor, while the rose flavor add a touch of romance and elegance to this blend, creating a lovely balance of flavors.
Bold floral & black tea flavor. Very good tea to get a bout of caffeine started in the day.
I second-guessed this purchase as I was shopping and, yeah, I should have trusted my instincts. It's just not for me. As soon as you open the package, the scent of rose is a slap—as strong as a hand lotion or body spray. I was concerned that the tea would taste just as strong, maybe soap-like. I added sugar to my mug and am glad that the brewed rose flavor is not so extreme between the black tea and sugar, unfortunately the scent is still powerful enough that I'm reminded of lotion on every waft. I might try brewing this tea one more time with dried fruit or combined with another tea, but this will not be a repeat purchase on my part.
Great tea! A great tea for breakfast, great with or without milk and with or without sugar. Would reccomend!
So fragrant and lovely!! I enjoyed how the delicate rose flavors were balanced by the black tea. Will definitely buy this one again!!
Fragrant and delicious. I have always loved rose tea and this is exactly what I wanted.
smells wonderful, light rose flavor. I highly recommend
A classic and a favorite. I love that the rose is dominating without becoming cloying, or tipping into perfume-y
This delivered exactly the flavor I hoped it would. I'm a massive fan of roses, the way the look, smell and taste. Based on my experience with the overall high quality of tea here, I decided to bypass the sample and go for the 3 oz bag in the hopes it would be good. And it was. I love this tea. The rose flavor is pronounced yet not overpowering or artificial tasting. The black tea was very smooth and ideal base for the flavor. Love, love, love this tea!
I enjoyed my Summer Rose. I have tried many brands of the Rose in Black Tea, being one of my favorite flavors. However, I expected the rose to have more flavor. It was still great, nonetheless.
Really lovely brisk black tea with slight pleasant astringency, and the soft floral flavor of rose petals.
Cold brewed, has a pronounced rose flavor that blends well with the black tea. I felt it was better with a bit of sugar, which means it won't be on my regular rotation.
This is one of my go to morning teas. Nice black tea base with lots of lovely floral flavors. Definitely recommend!
This blend was nice, but not as rose-flavored as I was hoping. I used it to make a tea seltzer, which usually really highlights the floral notes, but it didn't come through much with this mix.
I really like this tea but I think it's best when paired with other teas and flavors. When paired with other teas, it can be very refreshing.
Such a pleasant aroma, along with the taste! I enjoy this cold as well. The taste isn't as strong as the smell directly from the bag would indicate, although I'd probably still like it, if it was.
This tea is a special case for me. I don't like it at all when it's served plain. However, with cream and sugar I like this tea a lot more than the more explicit fruity or chocolatey 'dessert teas' that most brands sell. The aromatics are just right with sugar and cream to fill out the taste. Give it a try.
Today's CommuniTea packet is summer rose with black tea, rose petals and rose flavor. I love the smell of roses, but not necessarily in something I'm trying to eat. Luckily the scent of roses is much stronger than the taste of them. Not my favorite, but drinkable. Brewed in 16 ounces of 190-degree water for a little over two minutes.
It took me awhile, first time I ever had a rose tea it was a mushroom tea with rose, It was very strange, thought I was drinking perfume, as time went on I have acquired a taste for it and actually look forward to sipping it, a very light and pleasant taste with a great black tea chiming in.
I once ate a rose as a child, don't ask I was a bit of a strange kid, and this reminded me of that. In a good way! Very strong rose scent and flavor without being overwhelming, a touch of sweetener really brought it all together. Would drink again for sure.
The packet had a handful of rose petals and smelled a little floral, though not what I was expecting. I agree with some of the other reviews that the tea itself is just kinda plain with a hint of rose. Not bad by any means, just wished there was more rose or flavor or something.
It was a strong brew. It didn’t have a strong rose flavor. I was glad.
A soft and delicate rose tea with a hint of rose flavor.
When I opened the packet it smelled like my grandparents summer rose garden brining back wonderful memories. The tea itself was a nice tasting ceylon with a subtle hint of roses. This will be on my next order.
I will start by saying that I really love floral teas. This one is no exception. I love the rose flavor and the subtle sweetness it imparts to this blend. If it was any stronger though, I would be too much!
It smells good, but I don't like the rose flavor ... at lest not this one and not now. I'm having seasonal allergies right now. I felt the flavor go to my nose in a bad way. Maybe I'd like it in another season but not right now. This happens with flowery teas at this time... even chamomile.
I know this is a personal preference. I like rose tea and I like black tea, but I never can get the hang of them together.
Me and Paul Hollywood probably both agree that rose is a tricky flavor and can easily be overdone. While the rose smells lovely and is light, the floral flavors are not something I enjoy.
I’m just not a fan of the scent or taste of rose. This tea has a strong scent of rose and the rose can be tasted.
