I like this. It's obviously very floral. Great with cardamom cookies. I can imagine brewing it extra strong and using it to flavor a dessert.

Really rich and tasty tea, I've decided to make it my favorite and i will be buying this tea every time I make an order.

I like this one when in the mood for a floral. The rose flavor is nice, not too strong and well balanced. I'm not much for flavored teas, but this one is a nice change of pace, especially midmorning.

I ordered a sample of this one with my adagio order, since I remembered liking it years ago...  It was a strong black tea with very authentic rose.  Some rose can be weird, but not here!  I think this blend is the most true to rose that I have tasted out of all the rose teas.  There are actual bits of rose petals here, but there is also delicious flavoring. The description says this is a Ceylon base.  It really seems more like a traditional rose Congou to my tastebuds.  It also doesn't seem like the base they usually use for their other flavored black teas.  If this is Ceylon, it might be my favorite Ceylon.  I love this tea.  I am also glad it matches what I remember!

★★★★★

Delicate but Poweful, I often find if I oversteep this, I can lose the floral delight of the roses and find myself drenched in the ceylon/black tea. When brewed correctly, nothing matches this tea, especially when shared with someone you love.

love the rose flavor on this tea, strong without being overbearing, and there are a good amount of rose petals in the bag. it is a little astringent used outside of a blend.

I’ll begin by saying that this is only the second type of rose tea I’ve tasted. The other was from another company and had hits of vanilla. This tea was more floral with black tea base. My steeping temp may have been too warm as I almost detected a soapy element. I could see this working well as a blend, perhaps with an apricot or vanilla addition.

So delightful! A subtle but flavorful rose and a great black tea. I can't wait to try this one iced, I think it's going to be amazing.

My hubby like this one a lot I thought it was decent, there are much better rose teas out there though.

My all time favorite blend. Ordered countless times. You can't go wrong.

I love the rose flavor in this, but I find it gets bitter very quickly. I drink a rose petal tea from another company and the black tea base doesn’t get quite as bitter. Would love to see this in a honeybush or rooibos as they don’t get bitter for me.

Rose is not a flavor I typically go for, but it IS a favorite of my sibling who I bought this for. They say that it's lovely; the rose flavor is nice and strong, balanced nicely by the flavor of the black tea. It's not often that they find a blend that they enjoy without adding anything to it, and this succeeds!

One of my favorite teas I've ever ordered. The flavor and the aroma mix together when you sip to create a special tea drinking experience. The rose is just so perfectly balanced. This tea is spectacular mixed with others, too! I've prepared a half/half Rose and Apricot tea and that was just delightful. I have also poured a small amount of leftover rose tea into a pitcher of herbal iced tea and it gave that pitcher a lovely delicate rose scent when drinking. I got a small sample and am going right back to order a full bag!

Love love love this tea!! So relaxing! Had to invite the neighbor over to try this one!

This doesn't even need milk! The rose flavor comes through gently and is just enough to take the edge off a full black steep. I enjoy this both hot and iced. Makes an amazing iced milk tea with boba pearls added.

This is a great tea if you love floral teas. The rose is not overpowering, but you definitely taste it. I like my tea strong, so I made the mistake of steeping it too long causing the black tea to taste a little bitter. The 3 minute steep is all you need.

The rose is a bit cloying in this blend. I have had summer rose in fandom blends, and there if often shines, but alone, it is not a a particularly good tea. It needed to be blended with a stronger black tea for alone drinking, but I suspect this is a blend meant to be further blended.

This is a wonderful afternoon teas, soft notes of rose and a hint of sweetness. Would recommend

I LOVE this tea. I love all floral teas, but this one is my top favorite. It has a solid black tea base notes with the most wonderful rose over the top. If you like the taste of rose, this is the tea for you.

Black tea & florals. Pretty straightforward, but probably not for everyone. I don't know if this happens to other folks, but I find that if the rose is too prominent, it can lead to a vaguely 'soapy' flavor. Quite odd, but that could just be how my tastebuds are built.

I love black tea with roses and this one is excellent. The black tea is the dominant note, with the roses coming in with a more subtle flavor. I learned to love roses as something to have in tea or in food when I fell in love with Persian food. Very calming and serene. A garden for the heart. 212 F for three minutes.

I really enjoyed this one. It’s lighter than it smells but still very nice with a pleasant floral flavor, without being overpowering. It would be very nice in blends as well, iced too I believe. I steeped it at a lower temperature to avoid any bitterness that I often find in black teas; it worked perfectly. I would happily get this one again.

Really enjoyed this one. I loved the scent every time I raised my cup to take a sip. I reminded me of a warm summer day sitting on a bench in a garden. I liked the taste better with sugar added. Will definitely be adding this to my wish list!

★★★★☆

I was a bit worried this one might taste like perfume, as rose is wont to do, but brewing it at the minimum recommended time definitely helped to balance it out. It's a rather even taste of ceylon and rose, and of course it smells heavenly!

I feel this tea is an example of something not too complex and coming out exactly as advertised. Rose flavor, check. Black tea, check. The packet smelled amazing when opened as well as the floral aroma accompanying the steeping. I think this amount of rose would have been too overpowering in a white or weaker green tea, but the bold flavor of the Ceylon definitely made for a delicious cup. I did notice slightly more astringency than I wanted, but I will chalk that up to user error as I accidentally steeped for closer to 6 min than the recommended 3. Great tea, would happily drink again. 212° for 6 min (unintentionally)

‘25: still love it there’s something so ‘elegant garden party’ about it

i LOVED this, but I love rose flavor (when used well) and I know not everyone does. Glad adagio mixes in rose flavor as rose petals alone just taste like wet leaves, sadly to me every time. The fragrance is gorgeous before steeping, less so after, but it's really lovely with a little sweetener and does feel like a rose garden. for me, when it got cold it suddenly tasted like perfume but hot was great.

CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 180 F. I would probably give this 2.5 stars if I could. It's not bad, but I'm not a fan of Ceylon. I think the rose flavoring and petals helps to bring out some aspects in the Ceylon that remind me of other black teas that I prefer more. That being said, it still is a little bit weird and taste, and a little bit more bitter than I would like.

I didn't think I would like this tea; however, it's not too bitter or tart. Smooth, floral, and bright. Lovely.

I got this in a communitea box, so it isn't something I would typically choose for myself. As a lifelong hater of floral teas, I expected to take a sample sip of this for science and dump it out like I usually do with floral teas. I have recently found that adding raw local honey tempers the floral taste from a nasty, perfumey taste to something more pleasant. The honey wasn't quite enough, but adding milk turned it into something pleasant enough that I did drink the whole cup. That earns 5 stars for me for anything with rose in it! I highly recommend that anyone trying the sampler products have some good quality honey on hand - grocery store honey cannot compare.

Smelling the aroma of the CT packet, I am reminded of a rose water tonic that my grandmother used to wear. The floral taste is leaving a tingling sensation on my tongue that I'm not used to. I hope I'm not finding out in real time that I'm allergic to this blend. I've had other rosy teas in the past that have not elicited such a reaction. Overall, this one is not for me.

Not usually a fan of rose in my tea but this was pretty good. I added milk and sugar and made into a latte and I liked it more that way

My daughter has really been loving rose flavored tea and this one did not disappoint. There's a different flavor profile involved when the floral flavor is in black tea. This one has a dark, exotic taste that is just lovely.

This is a good tea enjoyed either hot or cold. I prefer strong floral notes in my flavored teas but this is a medium rose scent/flavor. Brewing it longer doesn't bring out more of the floral notes either - it just makes the black tea bitter. I'll buy it again because it is a pretty good tea.

My favorite black tea. I love floral teas, especially Rose and Jasmine. Don't over steep or it gets a bitter after taste. 200 is better than 212.

★★★★☆

I expected more flavor of the rose, as the ceylon black tea taste overpowered the rose taste. However, it produces a nice cup of iced tea!

★★★☆☆

Good, but has a tendency to get bitter quickly if oversteeped. This overpowers the rose. I don't find it needs more than 3 minutes. I've found a better rose blend from another local source that I prefer.

The Summer Rose tea from Adagio is lovely! The floral notes are light and refreshing, with just the right hint of rose. Perfect for a soothing cup, especially in the afternoon. I’m very satisfied!

Rose teas are so delicious. I wish there were as many varieties as there are for earl grey. This is one of my favorite breakfast teas to use when I want to break up my routine.

The smell of the tea was very pronounced. I like rose and this tea is very rose forward. I can still taste the black tea below it too. Very good rose scented tea.

This is one of those teas you need to pay attention to when steeping and don't leave it set in your cup too long. For me a steeping it too long or not drinking it right away, allowed the oolong to become bitter and override the roses delicate florals.

★★★★★

I was hesitant to try this one because I was worried about the rose flavor being too strong. It's just the perfect amount, though, and a beautiful flavor.

its a little too heavy on the rose flavor. steeping at too high a temp can cause this to take on a taste similar to room temperature wine.

my best advice is to steep at low temp for shorter amount of time for a sweeter rose flavor without overpowering.

I'll add this to my list of pantry staples. Wonderful flavor, not too floral. There was a nice balance on the flavor.

★★★★☆

I wish the rose was a bit more forward in the blend, but I don't mind an assertive floral taste. That said, I still like this blend a bunch. It also smells heavenly, both dry in the bag and brewed in the cup

★★★★★

I love the aroma and taste of this tea. It brings back memories of my Mother's rose garden in summer bloom. It definitely has a rose taste and aroma and sometimes I mix it with a black tea to tone it down. This is not a sweet fruity taste but its perfect for a summer tea. If I blend it with a black tea I allow it to steep for 4 minutes. If I use it full strength, I shorten the time.

I tried this tea in store on a whim and it has since become one of my all time favorites! I know this an odd comparison, but it almost reminds me of a hot version of the Arizona green tea after I add honey.
