The smell of cloves and pumpkin was very strong when I first cut open the pouch, I can’t remember how long I brewed my cup for but I know for certain it was longer than 3 minutes, sweetened with some condensed milk resulted in a lightly pumpkin flavored cup. It wasn’t a full bodied sip and was fairly unsatisfying actually, this tea would probably be best if mixed into an actual blend, wouldn’t really consider buying it separately.

★★★★☆

Tastes like pumpkin pie spice. It's a very good fall blend. If you hate cloves, though, I'd take a pass.

Spiced tea for fall. Recommend brewing longer than 3 minutes. Perhaps sweetener will bring out more of the flavors.

I enjoyed this tea for the spice, I didn't get enough pumpkin for the label of pumpkin spice. I felt it was an enjoyable tea with a strong spice flavor. Brewed @212 for 3 minutes

A nice spicy cinnamon blend, in search of the pumpkin flavor, maybe it was missing in my sample. Not one of my favorites but it is a nice fall flavor cup of tea.

CommuniTEA Sample: Just like the name says, it’s a nice pumpkin spice tea. Good blend that is great with a splash of tea.

I don't know if I really get pumpkin here, but I do get spicy, cinnamon goodness and that is enough for me! Add some sweetener and you have a yummy fall cup! This is a straightforward black brew that will have you dreaming of falling leaves, apple pies, pumpkins and hayrides. Happy Sipping!

This is a good tea to welcome in the fall season with and would make a decent introduction into chai tea as well. The pumpkin spice flavors are delicious. I lightly smell pumpkin in the dry leaves however, once brewed I do not taste any pumpkin. I prefer to infuse this longer than suggested and add milk and sugar. After a few cups I get a satisfying caffeine buzz.

Enjoying along with the CommuniTEA: Strong cinnamon and cloves fragrance noticed from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 3 mins at 190°F, I notice mainly cinnamon and honey-ceylon tea notes. When I take a sip, I taste mainly cloves and cinnamon with ginger and subtle black tea tannins on the finish. Great cup!

This is a complete rewrite of my previous 2 Oct 20 review. All advertised physical ingredients were noted in my communiTEA packet. Caveat: Adagio says there is no actual pumpkin in this tea, just pumpkin spice flavorings (cinnamon, clove, ginger, nutmeg and allspice.) Pumpkin spice aromas were noted.

I had 3.14 grams of tea, enough for a 12.5 ounce steep. I steeped at 190°F for three minutes to minimize Ceylon black tea bitterness.

When hot, mild pumpkin spice flavors were noted. Black tea bitterness was moderate. I added ⅜ teaspoon of sugar to lower this.

When warm, pumpkin spice flavors were moderate. Bold and brisk Ceylon black tea tastes with mild unsweetened dark chocolate flavors were noted.

The spicy flavors in today’s blend worked with the tea base to provide a pleasant Autumn sip. A mild cardamom piney finish was noted. (3 mins @ 190ºF, ⅜ tsp sugar)

(Movie announcer)
In a world of pumpkin spice
One tea dared greatly.

Dared to be more spice
'Make a latte', this tea says
'For a sweet romance'

'Or go for action'
'By going bold and naked'
'Two movies in one'

This will change the world
Or at least spice up your day.
Make your own movie.

It’s okay, but the spice is a bit intense for me.

I didn't taste any pumpkin flavor, just a mild chai with mostly clove and a little cinnamon. The black tea was flavorful with just a little bitterness and a pleasant, slightly astringent finish. Probably better with sweetener and creamer.

This tea is ok. The flavor profile is a little blah. I think the black tea is to strong of a base and diminished the flavor profile.

This one tastes like a mild chai, but not much like pumpkin. Still a good tea. I added extra cloves to mine to boost the spice and then made it a latte. 190° for 2 minutes.

I brewed at the suggested 212°F and for the usual three minutes, but it wasn’t strong enough. I put it back in for another three minutes and added cream as if it was a chai and it got a bit better. There isn’t much pumpkin flavor, so I’m not sure why it’s called pumpkin spice.

This is fun seasonal treat. I think the full flavor blooms when you add some kind of sweetener, but it is fine without as well.

A very fun fall tea. I love Nature’s minx much more for a fall tea but this is a nice change of pace. I probably would not order again and try other fall spicy flavors it is not a favorite.

I’m kind of disappointed; I was expecting more of a pumpkin flavor; to me this just tastes like chai; yet the flavor is good overall.

Great warmth and perfect for pumpkin spice lovers. The cinnamon and clove notes are perfect

★★☆☆☆

Pumpkin Spice is always one of those flavors that's hard to balance. It's either really good or it's not. In this case, I found the 'spice' to be far too overpowering and I didn't really taste any sort of pumpkin at all. The cardamom, clove, and cinnamon flavors were just too strong for anything else to come through in this cup.

unfortunately, there was a lot more 'Spice' than 'Pumpkin' in this blend.

Yummy for my tummy! I love the mix of spices. Taste great with a bit of rock sugar and just a hint of French vanilla creamer! Like vanilla ice cream on pumpkin pie!

Got this for the fall season! Is great with a splash of milk.

Not entirely a fan of the new recipe. The cinnamon is too strong for my liking but it's still alright. Probably won't be an every year purchase going forward.

So good with milk and honey! I reach for it any time of year when I want a little taste of fall.

Love it, am rationing it so that i don't run out, just in case I can't get it again till fall ** Update, it does not age well so rationing was unsuccessful

I'm not normally a tea drinker but my 4 year old loves tea parties so I ordered a variety of tasty sounding teas from Adagio including the pumpkin spice so we could have some tea parties together. As someone who doesn't normally drink tea I have to say the pumpkin spice is delicious. The flavors were spot on and the smell was wonderful. To me it tastes exactly like pumpkin pie. The pumpkin spice was a perfect blend. I added 3 sugar cubes and a splash of half and half giving it a creamy pumpkin pie flavor. My 4 year old loved this flavor the best. It will be the perfect fall drink for when the weather turns cooler.

Nice fall flavors that are good any time of the year

Pumpkin Spice is Pumpkin Spice. It s heavy on the cinnamon but otherwise very average for the type.

This tea reminded me very much of Masala Chai with a hint of pumpkin. It is certainly a nice, flavorful tea, but a single cup every now and then is sufficient for me, rather than a whole pot.

This is fine. Mostly tastes like a masala chai but with more spice. A bit overwhelming.

EDIT: UPDATED FORMULA: it is perfect now. Spiced, with the deep undertones you expect out of a pumpkin spice blend. While the previous one tasted like weird banana and the spices got lost, this version is all spice and no banana. It isn't a chai flavored spice, either - like, I know it's the same basic composition as a chai, but it distinctly tastes different, and it's lovely. Will be buying a big bag to stock up as soon as payday rolls in.
--
This tea was shockingly underwhelming for me. I am normally a huge fan of pumpkin spice things - like, one of those people who get all upset after about December 1st when all the pumpkin stuff starts to go away. This, did not taste like pumpkin spice to me. I mean, maybe pumpkin - but it's hard to define this flavor as pumpkin, either, really, and it reminds me more of banana which is not what I was expecting to get - and there was certainly not any spice? I can see the ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom pieces in the tea itself, but once it's steeped it doesn't exist in flavor. The first cup, I thought I hadn't steeped it long enough, because I was in a hurry to drink it. The second cup I left for almost a half hour. It's not bitter, or anything - the tea itself does steep very nice and smooth - but it's just... kind of 'meh'? Drinkable, and if I was in the mood for banana, it'd be great, but it's not pumpkin spice as I expected it to be. I'll probably use the rest of this up, but unless there's a formula change I don't know it'll be a repeat order.

This is a taste of fall and the introduction to the coming holidays. I drink this after Halloween and before Thanksgiving, or anytime of the year I feel nostalgic.

Decent flavor but not my favorite pumpkin spice. Could use more pumpkin flavor.

There was something about this tea I distinctly disliked to the point where I questioned if it was actually pumpkin spice at all. Perhaps it just wasn’t for me, but I swear this tea tasted like weed (no joke!)

I haven't met a pumpkin spice I hated. Adagio delivers a delicious blend.

Torn between Pumpkin Spice and Oriental Spice for the best spiced black tea. I normally hate Pumpkin Spice, aside from Pumpkin Spice breads, but this blend is delicious! Originally purchased a Sample of this as an add-on gift for a friend, but couldn't stop wondering if it might be good and eventually had to open it up for myself. Loved it and immediately repurchased the 3 oz size as well. Still have to get some for that friend!

This one was very good, I found it as an alternative to the Teavana Pumpkin Spice Brulee and must say that, while not a perfect substitute, it is very delicious! I add a little sugar and cream to mine and it feels like the fall

This one was a great fall treat, not sure if id get it year round but i loved it to try it out

There is a nice strong spicy scent prior to steeping. The cinnamon and cardamon are the strongest scents. After steeping the cinnamon and cloves really engaged the taste buds. There was a vague hint of pumpkin pie spice. It was an okay tea, it wasn't strong enough for me.

Was decent on its own but really came to life after adding a spot of milk to the cup. It was the joys of autumn pumpkin spice that I love in other beverages.

My favorite morning tea, while you wait for the water to boil you get this lovely aroma from the bag. It's now one of my staple teas.
