Perfect for the fall. I love pumpkin tea the spice is perfect
An annual favorite, just the right mix of spices.
This is so good! It is even better with cream and sugar. It is the perfect Autumn treat! I like to make sure my black tea is not bitter so I lower the temp.
What a great tasting tea! Definitely warms you up on a cool fall day. I love the spices and is great with fiery cinnamon or cinnamon tea combined.
Ah, fall is the one time of the year where I'm not afraid to be that basic white girl. The tea this ve good.
My favorite alternative to a pumpkin spice latte every year, without all the sugar!
I ordered some to try since I like pumpkin drinks. I have tried it and really like it.
I add original creamer to it. It tastes like drinking pumpkin pie. I did also order some more with another order to last through Thanksgiving.
Today's CommuniTea packet was pumpkin spice, which is made of black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, pumpkin spice flavor, cardamom and marigold flowers. It's one of my favorite spiced teas right now, and I've been drinking it on it's own and with other blends. A very nice tea. 9 grams of tea in 32 ounces of 200 degree water for 3 minutes.
I like this blend alot, it is very cinnamon forward though. I do however prefer the honeybush pumpkin chai that one I feel the spice mix is a little more balanced. However this still makes an amazing latte and it hit the spot on this rainy fall day.
Fall spices in a cup. Moderate pumpkin spices blend well with the ceylon black tea. I used 1 tsp of tea per 6 oz of water and made a latte with this. I really preferred it this way. Sweet and creamy with a pop of spice. The milk and honey really help smooth out the bite of the spices. Steeped 195° for 3.5 mins.
It’s pumpkin spice…which I like. But I agree with another reviewer who said it’s missing a layer of complexity. It lacks depth of flavor, and so is just okay.
In a season of competing pumpkin spice everything, this is one of the best. The pumpkin flavor, something that often gets lost, really comes through here.
I was SO excited to try this because I've recently come to the conclusion that pumpkin spice may be basic but that's because it's great and everyone knows it. However, like many said, there just wasn't that much pumpkin flavor to justify calling it 'pumpkin spice.' There were definitely pumpkin *spices*, but that was pretty much it.
I enjoyed this tea. It tastes like a mild chai. I prefer more spice flavor and think this would taste great if mixed with a chai tea.
This CommuniTea sample was very cinnamon to me with maybe a touch of the other spices. I didn't really enjoy it plain as the cinnamon was too strong. Some milk and a little vanilla creamer calmed the spice down into something drinkable but I prefer teas I can drink plain and only do add-ons as a treat.
This was a bit too clove heavy for me (but that could have been disproportionate in my communiTEA pack. I had 4.). Beyond the clove flavoring, the rest of the seasonings fell a little flat.
Absolutely delicious as a latte, warm and spicy. Tastes exactly like autumn!
The spices in this tea are really nice! Wonderful smell as soon as I opened the packet. There isnt a specific pumpkin flavor, which I'm thankful for. Just nice and spicy!
If you're looking for something with actual pumpkin in it, you're out of luck with this blend. But if you're looking for something that evokes all the delicious flavors and aroma of a pumpkin pie, look no further! The spices in this are a wonderful combo of all the best fall flavors. They can be a bit overwhelming straight up, so I like tempering the brew with a splash of milk.
This tea is good, this is a good fall tea. You can really taste the cinnamon. (212 @ 3 min).
Despite my love for fall, I have never been a fan of pumpkin spice beverages. I have tried the coffee, tried my local milk tea place, and now this. All I can say is that I like it better than the coffee, but I’m not much of a coffee person either. It tastes fairly balanced, it just isn’t for me.
I love the spices used in pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread and so on, so I enjoy the spices in this blend, but the faint idea of pumpkin is more disappointing than fulfilling. This blend felt like it would be better with sweetener, but once I added a little sugar, it actually felt a little too sweet instead of satisfying. I might have just had a sample that wasn't quite strong enough, or maybe I had too much sugar, but overall this was good, but not great. I would drink it again, don't get me wrong, but I don't think I would buy more. Adagio has other, much better spicy blends than this one.
I didn't think I would like this after years of seasonal pumpkin-spice-everything, but this blend was magnificent. Each spice was easy to find as it had enough space to shine on its own, starting with a quick hit of cinnamon and ending with something that felt warm cardamomy. There was an underlying citrus note that balanced everything together and adding it to the very top of my wishlist. I would drink this a thousand times.
I tried this tea as a CommuniTEA sample. Steeped the packet in 6 oz of water at 190°F x 3 minutes, then let it cool. Blended it with frozen almond milk 'ice cubes', vanilla, and maple syrup for sweetener. Then sprinkled cinnamon on top. What a lovely blend of fall flavors! I'm sure it is good sipped hot, too.
Perhaps I like this better blended with another tea, but I do taste the pumpkin (flavor, not actual pumpkin) and spices, so I'll give it the four stars but not more as I'm not totally in love with it.
I liked this one more than I thought I would. I'm generally not a huge fan of a lot of spices in my teas but this one has good harmony, no one flavour was too dominating, and it tastes like a warm autumn day.
This is not a bad tea, but it is not terribly interesting either...I love autumn and happily await the season of pumpkin everything, I was excited to try this one, but it is really no different than a regular chai type of tea. I guess I expected something a little more exciting, or pumkin-ny, but was a little disappointed. Still, not a bad tea, just unoriginal...
Nice pumpkin spice taste, a great tea for fall if you enjoy pumpkin spice.
Aromas of pumpkin pie spices, heavy on the clove, wafted out of the CommuniTEA packet. A quick 3 minute bath in 212°F water produced a rich mahogany brown tea.
Pumpkin spices dance on the tongue with each sip. Plenty of bold and woody clove is up front and center, while ginger, cardamom and cinnamon are in the background. Mild cinnamon bark thickens up the body of the tea, while ginger adds a bit of zing. Cardamom is a bit difficult to pick out amidst the other bold spices, but it seems to add some aromatics to the blend.
The boldness of the spices and the brisk black tea were begging to be tasted with some cream. Adding in some extra-special seasonal pumpkin spice eggnog made this tea a very decadent pumpkin pie flavored tea latte. It added that missing element of pumpkin flavor that I felt this tea needed. That made it a really good 'pumpkin fog' style spiced tea latte! 🎃🥧
The 1st sniff was all cinnamon and the tea was just delicious. I could of drank this tea all day long!
It’s time to snuggle into my sweater, pull on my cozy slippers and sip this pumpkin spice tea as a watch the wind carry the leaves outside on the back porch.
… or at least that’s what I imagine when I sip this perfectly spiced autumnal tea. I added about a teaspoon of golden syrup to complete the warmth on offer here.
This tea has greatly improved since I tried it the first time. I’m so glad Adagio sent me a sample - it’s a wonderful autumn mildly spiced tea. Will buy some soon.
CommuniTEA packet tasting, I decided to make today a coconut almond milk tea latte. I enjoyed the warm spices with the creamy milk, but the pumpkin flavor wasn’t quite enough for my taste. It is still a great tea! Happy sipping!
The smell and taste of this blend is strongly spiced with a hint of fruity sweetness in the background. I think the dominant spice that I am tasting is cardamom. I like this one a lot more than the Apple Spice Chai, it's quite a different balance of spices. This is such a lovely, warming autumn tea.
A good tea to celebrate fall. I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin spice, but I really enjoyed it with milk and sugar to tone down on the spice!
Lovely tea with an INCREDIBLE aroma, man Adagio should pack this up like an air freshener, it'd be a fantastic new business venture! It was smooth and tasty though the scent was not quite delivered in the taste. Still a solid spiced black tea though - would be great for any pumpkin fan, since the pumpkin is there, just needs a bit of coercing to come out of hiding!
This is a warm, spicy blend. The cinnamon, clove, and ginger all fight aggressively for center stage. Adding sugar and cream help tame the savage spicy beasts. As it cools the spices give up and join together. While pleasant in the end, it’s not one I would return to.
Very clove and cinnamon heavy, dry spice tea. The Assam doesn't lend even a bit of sweetness to this blend so it is very dry and almost tannic. This would probably be more enjoyable with milk and sugar.
It's a nice little tea--could do with a dollop of whipped cream on top or a bit more spice to it. I like it, don't get me wrong. But it does come across as an English breakfast with a clove in it.
In two days, I surprised myself and almost finished a sample bag of Pumpkin Spice. The first taste is very spicy with ginger and clove leading the way and cinnamon and cardamom joining in on the back sip. A honey add seemed to release the pumpkin flavor more. And another addition of dairy aka, a splash of milk, tamed the flames of spice so that a pumpkin flavor truly shone.
My Ct packet had 3 g/ 2 ½ tsp. of spicy scented tea with all ingredients including caramel colored marigolds. I brewed 14 oz. of the dark colored liquor at 200*F for 3 min. and enjoyed a resteep of 7 oz. too. I brewed many cups within a temp. range between 195*F to 212*F for 3 min. My favorite was 205*F. At this temp, the initial spiciness and the pumpkin flavor came into balance quickly with sweetening and dairy adds and I enjoyed the taste. At 212*F, a few tannins joined the flavor for a different taste even with sweetener and dairy. No bitterness was detected in any of the cups of this delicious tea. A good one to toast the beginning of fall.
As someone who isn't a fan of flavoring things with pumpkin spice, I was a leery of this tea. I was pleasantly surprised when I sipped this. This took me about to true pumpkin spice flavor. The cinnamon and cloves was incredibly comforting and made this a perfect fall blend
Nice fall tea. I'm not too thrilled about cloves, so would have liked this much more if the clove flavor was less. I added cream and sweetener which resulted in a dessert like tea.
I like this tea, just not as a pumpkin spice tea. Too tannic, not enough spice.
I don’t tend to get all excited about “pumpkin spice” when it flavors everything in the fall. I don’t eat pumpkin pie. But I love this tea! Nicely spiced with fall flavors and doesn’t taste bitter even without adding milk and/or sweetener.
This is a good spicy chai-like tea. I added some sugar and heavy cream to tone down this down a bit.
I agree with so many other reviewers that this is a great fall tea, however, it could be better in my opinion if it had more pumpkin taste. Pumpkin just shouts fall . The other spices are blended well and does well for second steep. Adding a small amount of basic black tea will even give a nice 3 rd steep
A lovely pumpkin spice tea that really fits the season
Very good spicy fall black tea. Reminds me exactly of my jar of pumpkin pie spice that I use a lot of this time of year. I brewed at a lower temp to avoid any bitterness.
The tea has a very powerful fall aroma with cinnamon and clove. When brewed it's quite heavy on the clove and just so-so for me when plain. The tea becomes much more palatable with cream or some sweetener.
I wasn’t loving this plain. A splash of vanilla creamer really brought out the pumpkin flavor and smoothed everything together.
