I had this tea with a splash of oat milk - I'll admit this was a bold choice due to the citrus nature of this tea! The tea's aroma is more black tea than orange. It tastes like a slightly bitter black tea primarily, the orange is very much in the background. That's a bit sad, I would've preferred the orange to be stronger.

I always find ceylon rather bitter, even with a noticeably lower temperature. Maybe this would be better cold brewed, but I think this is just a tricky tea between the bitterness of both the orange peels and the ceylon...

This is a good new choice for me.. The orange flavored tea offers a pleasant citrusy aroma that is refreshing and invigorating. The taste is subtly infused with orange notes, providing a delicate balance between the tea's natural flavor and the citrus twist.

The taste was good just not enough orange flavor for my liking.

The thought of combining black tea with orange sounded like a great idea. However, as hard as I tried, I was unable to get any flavor of orange in this very strong, bitter tea.

Not a personal favorite. I’m moving away from black teas. Flavor was decent.

I love orange, so I want the orange to be a little stronger! Luckily, the tea is good and it isn't hard to add more orange on my own.

May I just say that this is a yummy blend. The orange is not overpowering.

Since your grapefruit tea is one of my favorites, I thought I would try your orange black tea. It is a nice smooth black tea, with a hint of orange. Unlike one of your other reviewers, though, I would like a little more than a hint of orange flavor. I was tempted to add a little orange peel, but I'll leave that up to you! Even so, I only purchased the sample size, but I will purchase it again.

I gifted this to my coworker with the chocolate tea. She loves it by itself as the orange aroma and flavor are delicious. But she really likes to mix it with the chocolate for that candy copycat taste. She gives it five stars.

I didn’t love this. The orange flavor is subtle, but wasn’t as good as I hoped.

brings out the orange with added honey. This is perfect for blending. Would make a nice iced tea using vanilla bean sugar.

The tea has a strong citrus scent like a fresh glass of orange juice with faint hints of mint and earthy spices. The cup is a rich amber color with a scent of wheat bread and figs. The flavor is slightly sweet and tangy with subtle notes of orange. The finish is dry and tart, but not at all unpleasant. This is a really interesting tea for anyone who likes a good strong brew. It has more than enough flavor to balance its astringency. It also goes very well with a splash of milk.

If you want a basic orange tea, this is a good pick. Personally, it's a not as heavy in orange flavor as I would have hoped.

Love this tea! The citrus notes are clear and delicious, and I didn't taste any bitterness in my batch.

The aroma of this blend is invigorating, with a fresh and tangy orange scent that awakens your senses. The flavor is equally satisfying, with a smooth and robust black tea base that balances the sweet and citrus orange notes. The orange flavor adds a touch of acidity and brightness to the blend, giving it a slightly astringent character. Orange blend is a citrus sensation that will brighten up your day.

Not exactly what I had expected. I tried this iced, it may be better as a hot beverage.

Three stars may be a bit unfair. I just found it to be somewhat unremarkable. It wasn't bad, and it was a good alternative if you like Earl Grey but want something just slightly different and less noteworthy. I think an Oolong tea with a more potent orange punch would be better.
★★★☆☆
This fruit flavored black tea is slightly better than some of the others, but not by too much. I don't enjoy the 'flavor' of the fruit in the tea

Hands down my favorite one. I always reach for my tin of Orange. Hot or cold this tea always hits the spot.

The initial taste was a bit bitter for me, adding cream really helped smooth the bitterness and round out the orange flavor. I found it quite enjoyable and will def use in blends. However, I want to try the decaf version before deciding which I'll purchase.

Nice orange scent, but otherwise a fairly typical, lightly astringent tea whether served hot or cold.

Very refreshing tea. I love it when I'm feeling under the weather. It's a bit astringent so I sometimes soften it with a little Yunnan.

My other top favorite black tea! This one goes amazing with an orange blossom honey I had bought at a market. The sweetness of the orange is so refreshing and I feel ready to take on the day.
★★★★☆
A nice fruity taste when I am in the mood for something different than regular tea. A nice addition to my breakfast.

One of the few brews I actually enjoy as an iced tea. Gives me the necessary caffeine boost needed on these warm summer mornings. It's subtly sweet on its own so there is no need for additional sweetners.

I love this tea! I bought the Blood Orange tea thinking it was a black tea and it is good, but this fits the bill perfectly when I want orange with caffeine. So delicious!

I tasted the orange but it wasn’t super strong. This is just so-so for me. Good for dipping scones into, which added a bit of sweetness. Otherwise benefits from some creamer/sweetener. Nothing to write home about but still a good quality tea.

Could have used more orange. If I were to get it again, I would add more orange to it. I will get this again an try it cold brewed to see if the orange comes out more
Update 4/13/23: This packet had more of an orange flavor to it hot.

Today's CommuniTea packet is orange tea, made with black tea, orange & orange flavor. I've been cutting down and spreading out caffeine, so I made a 32 ounce pot of tea with today's packet, and a teaspoon each of blood orange, orange peel and ginger. I thought it was very nice. I enjoy spicy teas, so if I did it again, I might add some turmeric instead of or in addition to the extra orange peel, for another dimension to the kick. Steeped in 190-degree water for five minutes or so.

I tried this hot before and didn't think much of it. I cold brewed it this time and think it really shines that way. No bitterness, just the right amount of orange flavor, and it doesn't need sweetener. I still prefer blood orange mixed with black tea but this was really nice.

A very good, slightly astringent Ceylon black tea with the flavor of oranges. If you're hoping for strong fruit flavor, the addition of Selefina orange peels with help; otherwise, it is a very mild flavor.

I’ve tried the various other orange offerings Adagio has, and this one is the best. The orange flavoring is a little boring with the others, but the strong flavor from the black and a few discreet orange peels gives this orange that nice kick of tart that it needs.

This CommuniTEA packet was not a favorite of mine. I found the acidity of the orange to be too much with black tea. I definitely wouldn't drink this on purpose again.
EDIT 04/13/23: Received in my CommuniTEA, tried it again and still feel the same.

This tea has a very nice orange taste and aroma! The black tea base didn't overpower the flavor at all or make it bitter. Overall a nice cup of tea!

I really love a good black tea on occasion, and this was a nice change from just plain tea. I suppose the orange was a little more subtle than I thought it was going to be? Still, great tea.

this is a good strong tea. the orange could be a spec more pronounce but, the flavor is there. I enjoy this tea in the earlier part of the day, it will give you a good 'pick me up'

It's hard for me to review an orange tea when there was so little orange flavor in it! The scent was there, the taste not so much! So I will review the Ceylon tea, it's a good basic black tea. That's all I got, folks!

I'm fairly skeptical of orange flavored things, so this tea surprised me. I like this citrus pair with black tea more than lemon. I'm glad I got to try it, it will be great for making blends.

This is a great, straightforward flavored tea. Beware of oversteeping - between the orange and the Ceylon, it can get bitter fast! I steep at 190° and pull the tea to taste it quickly, usually around the 2 1/2 minute mark. After all, I can always steep it a little longer. The little bit of extra work is worth it for a bright, citrusy cup of tea to start the day!

I made this tea with milk and sugar, and I loved it! The milk and sugar cut the bitterness and allowed the orange flavor to shine through, almost reminiscent of orange-flavored chocolates.

This tea has a good black tea base with a subtle citrus tone to it. I really wish the orange flavor could have been a bit stronger, but it still made a good cup. Next time I try this I may add some extras.
